Knowles is a badass guitar player with an awesome voice. Loving his music! Cant take my eyes off the guitar and how hes mastered it. Dead on every note. Hell yeah!!! Rock on!
I dont mean to be offtopic but does any of you know a trick to log back into an instagram account..? I somehow lost my password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me.
@Jimmy Dylan Thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
JUST PLAIN GREAT TALENT HERE and, shows total respect for the original music through honest allegiance to the writers, performers, agents, and the original concert promoters.
I stumbled across Knowles and his band about a month ago, and he absolutely blew my mind, closing with this number. It brought tears to my eyes - It's like his vocals and guitar playing were wired into my nervous system. This video only hints at his virtuosity. You MUST see him live, at a small venue. Get right in front of his amp if you can, and make sure you choose a spot with a good vocal mix. The whole ensemble was magnificent, but Knowles playing is another level entirely. You can see it here with the other two guitarists - both of whom are outstanding, but no match for Knowles, and they know it. Knowles lead is blindingly fast, but he's no shredder jerk-off. His licks are original, innovative, expressive and seemingly impossible technically. Trust me, I play, and I can pull off any Clapton or Page lead if I spend a little time on it, note for note. Same goes for most guitar players. I watch and listen to them play, and I can copy most of them. But this stuff? Jesus Christ. It's based loosely on extended pentatonic scales and classic blues licks and bends, but there is some kind or alchemy or black magic going on. That's the the reason hard rock-music doesnt suck like K-pop or whatever. The devil is involved. Music is only REALLY good when Satan shows up. Hans List, Paganini, Robert Johnson. Led Zeppelin, and Black Sabbath. The Rolling Stones. Anthrax. Marilyn Manson. Come to think of it, the Beach Boys didn't stop sucking until they worked with Charles Manson. Tool. Rage Against the Machine. Glam metal and Brittney Spears suck because Satan will have nothing to do with them. (Satan's like FUCK THIS SHIT. Where's OZZY?) .... I don't know if Knowles cut a deal with Lucifer at the crossroads like Johnson, but damn......it's hard to believe a mere mortal can play guitar and sing like that, and the way I see it, Satan's the good guy in the Bible - It's god who does all the murdering raping, and pillaging. Satan only appears a couple of times, and it's to tell people that God is an asshole, and that if they think for themselves, the world will be a better place.... Rock on brother, rock on.
I've seen him several times now, always at small venues where I'm no more than 25' from the stage! There is nothing else like it - so authentic and real. I know exactly what you mean when you say wired into your nervous system! And yea, the best part is he is typically play at 10% of his ability - he pulls it out and shows you once and a while, but only when it's appropriate and never when it doesn't fit the music. The WHOLE BAND is like that. Just great stuff!
Wow you must live for satin I hope some day you except our lord Jesus Crist to deliver you from pure Evil. The one who gave his life so you could live. satin never gave any body nothing but pure hell. God Bless to All!
PLEASE can I be the Strat on the right? only if this fellow doesnt want to fly out to California....p.s.my solo will be done with a 56 Strat (refin) and 64 Vibroverb w/ original 15: JBL. These guys are NEVER in each other's way! incredible playn thanks a billion. This is my first video of Davy playing electric after "Broken Time" drew me in.
@@jonathanreed4994 Yeah, I know what you're saying. For a guitar/drums heavy live version of this song, check Steve out live at Crossroads in 2007. Not psychedelic, lots of guitar...mature Steve goes off on the guitars, especially in the middle/end, lol. And 2 drummers, incredible supporting musicians, really fantastic. ruclips.net/video/fmoL-qXAr5o/видео.html
@@morpheussandman5711 Gotta Tell you There were maybe 60-70 people there but it was a hardcore enthusiastic Rory crowd and they killed it. Really glad I went. Thanks for the advice
Super version..maybe they should add some congas and maracas for a little percussion like in the Welcome to the Canteen version by Traffic..of course a live version..
I don’t think so, Jeff Massey es as good if not two steps ahead. And when he plays the slide guitar there is nobody, I said; nobody closer to play like him!!!
Rough as a badgers ass. A very rough cover, made worse by too many electric guitars , two was enough. Lead guitar was nowhere on it , listen to Claoton and Winwood and learn boys.
We all have our influences, but when you try to be them you are nothing more than a parrot, there is ONLY 1 Rory Gallagher ! try forging your own identity instead of trying to be someone your not...
Imitating is a form of flattery, who doesn't have their favorite tunes or musicians and IF possible wouldn't immulate them in musical arts? Thank goodness GREAT older songs keep recycling through!
Knowles absolutely nails load of 70s classics
That’s some bad ass boys playing the heck out of a classic, hats off to the young in’s well done !

@Jimmy Dylan It did the trick and I now got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thanks so much you saved my ass !
@Alejandro Elijah Glad I could help :)
Beautiful to see the younger generation playing so well together , lovin' it !!!!
God damn what a jam! These boys killed it.
Love watching Davy smilin' and stompin' and giving the others the stage. Humble and sweet!
Keeping great music alive!! Anyone playing Traffic/Steve Winwood these days has my vote :-)
Love this version to bits, play it every other day but i still think the hidden gem is the bass player.
true that!
yes I agree hes great
An overdose of talent!!
Absolutely FANTASTIC!!!
Wow! I could listen to that fór hours!!!
Just great stuff... and yes! Great vocals too. How many guitar players should not be singing at all. Knowles has a mighty voice and technique.
Three great guitarists right there!
Took med back to My childhood when daddy rode a triumph bonneville and music was on an LP
Love the guitars talking to each other.
I love this version! Fantastic!

Would love to see them do ..30 Days in the Hole..Humble Pie🇺🇸🇺🇸
Nice. Never heard these guys before. Stumbled onto this video listening to CSN's version. Remind me of The Swinging Steaks from Boston.
Awesome cover. 👍
Love Steepwater and Mr Knowles is a damn fine musician and the band backs him up splendidly
Cleanest cover of this song ever
Extremely appreciative of this music ✊🏼☮️👏🏼
wow!
Really hoping Davy and Band of Friends come back through Portland for their US tour later this year. Such an awesome experience seeing him live.
Fuck! He was in Portland? I didn't know... Would've been there.

Behind the Les Paul player is a Danielle Nicole poster!!! Now that's who I would love to hear sing this song!
Davy sounds always great
Gueros chingones 🎸👍🤘🤘🤘✌️
One of the best jam sessions I have seen in a long time ... Davy and crew when are you coming to Austin?
It looks like their US tour is going to be in September. Last I looked no tour dates yet.
WOOWWWWWWWWW !!!!!!!

geezzusss the bass player is bad ass ... what a bed to lay on for a guitar player
Great heavy raw version of a great song...

One of my favorite songs ever and you guys did it better than the original IMO
It seems blasphemous to say so but I think you're right .

Oh hell no, lol!! This was very good, but no one can out do Steve Winwood, not going to happen. I'm thrilled to have found this cover, though.

D'earl Mr Fantasy n'est-il pas un titre de Jimi Hendrix?
this was originally done by Blind Faith, with Steve Winwood and Eric Clapton.
Three Six-strings!
Welcome Back Kotter
I swear sometimes I see glimpses of Rory Gallagher in Davey Knowles.
Reminds me of Bonamassa circa 2001 with much better vocals
Yep back then Joe was the shit...up until about 2006...those 3 piece power trio shows were amazing all for $10 a ticket

Excellent version or 'Dear Mr Fantasy', but Jo Bo would blow the roof off
And your ears! Jo Bo is getting too familiar with his riffs.
