Sometimes we observe in Pothos or Indian money plant developing yellow leaves or leaves turning yellow.
Inappropriate watering and sunlight show such type of formation on money plant or pothos. But only the appearance of yellow leaves means either pothos getting too much light or too little light.
Quick Identification,,,,,,
* Too Little Light
- older leaves will turn yellow first
- leaves will lose their variegation
- whole plant will look so dull.
* Too Much Light
- leaves will turn lime green to yellowish-green
- leaves will lose their variegation if they receive scorching sun for a long time
- with yellowness sometimes leaves develop brown leaf tips.
Inappropriate watering also develops yellow leaves with brown edges but in case of overwatering, they also develop water-soaked patches..

I had mine outside last summer, and moved inside in the fall. It did just fine over the winter so I never put it back outside this summer. Now my leaves are turning yellow. It must have gone too long without enough light right? It’s just strange that it’s taken almost a year to tell me it’s unhappy in its location- any tips welcome!

Its winter and I have my potholes under a uvb light . It also get some indirect light but not two hours a day . I thought I was over watering but after watching your video I think it’s not getting enough light . I only lose a leaf every once in awhile . Hopefully it will get more light soon. I can’t move it to a lighter area , I don’t have one Thank you.
Hello. I just bought a pothos tree. When I bought it, all the leaves were green, but when I brought it home, why did some of them turn yellow the next day?
It is due to shifting stress. The plant is trying to acclimate to the new environment. And nothing to be worried about until most of the leaves turn yellow..😊🌱

And the pothos in my living area is getting yellow leaves everyday around 10 to 12 . There is enough natural light.

It's normal if 1/2 even 3 old leaves are turning yellow. But if it continuously yellowing and pushing towards the younger leaves then it will consider as a problem.. Maybe your plant getting too little water or infected by pests or getting too little light.🙂🙂

@@marfree8450 after repotting pothos do wilt, also show yellowness on the leaves. So it's normal I would say.. Wait for the next few days. That will get back soon.,🙂🙂🙂

Hi should i take off the pothos leaves when it turns yellow?
You can but it's better to leave them in the plant. It allows to suck up the whole energy from the leaf. Eventually, the leaf will fall off by itself. 😊🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🍃🍃

Generally, older leaves do not reverse once those turn yellow. But the middle portion leaves or younger leaves turn green with proper care.😊😊😊

Most plant problems stem from cold water. Fill a gallon jug with water and let it sit for at least 3 days. Make sure to warm it slightly before using it. Direct sunlight isn't good for a lot of plants. Windows with light but no sun are the best.
