These videos help a lot, if you can, MORE JETT PLEASE! The way you explain things makes it easier to understand and follow then some other jett guides I've watched!
Dude, you had me at the moment you wrote the function. Not only because this means you are more likely to know what probability actual is but even more so because it's a function: something that's complex and changes over time. No fixed factors in a game like valorant. Love it. Love how you think. This is why you're different.
I look at it like this. Knowledge + Experience -> Intuition. Its like a chemical reaction; without thinking, when both your knowledge and experience react to a situation it becomes intuition and you react without really thinking about it.
super helpful advice especially since i main jett but still useful advice for any agent tbh i can implement these thoughts into my game thank you again i need this as i recently entered the gold elo trying to push through to plat
I love these videos dude. I just started playing recently and the insight you give in your coaching sessions is super helpful (I don’t think I’ll get past bronze after my placements, ha ha, skill issue), even for a bot like me (all jokes). Looking forward to learning more from you. Also, I’m planning on playing cypher and breach, I like a more supportive role. Are those two a good combo? Random update: I finished my placements and got to Silver 1?? Idk how that happened but thanks Riot, I guess
Loving the videos! Great advice that is easy to implement in my own play. From a content perspective, I think that giving a teaser of what you're teaching in the video in the first 10 seconds (WITHOUT giving it away) and explaining that you're covering a VOD review will help with the performance of these videos. Something like: "I came up with an easy way to figure out when to take duels in VALORANT, and so today we're reviewing one of my viewer's games to see how they can apply it to their gameplay (link to my coaching in the description)." I think this sets the stage appropriately and allows you to share the most important information later on in the video. I only say this because the most memorable/valuable takeaway of the entire video is shared in the first 30 seconds of a 20-minute video, and I think that will lead people to click away very quickly. I know that edited stream content tends to have lower retention, but what is yours looking like in the "Audience retention" report on the Analytics page? Regardless, keep up the good work! Love the channel!
You'd be surprised, while your logic makes sense - my retention with these clickbait + immediate reward videos is fabulous for long form content. The more clickbait title + immediate feedback in the intro is highly optimal for CTR/first 30 second retention.
@@Woohoojin yeah, many RUclipsrs follow that immediate payoff with clickbait (ie daily dose of internet). Seen a lot of high profile RUclipsrs say the same
@@bigtuna8451 I understand what you're saying, but I do think there's a middle ground that can establish more of what the full video entails without being clickbaity. I wasn't suggesting that they turn into MrBeast, just that they leave the viewer really wanting to finish the whole video. The only real worry I had was about people clicking away after seeing the formulas written out ~10 seconds into the video, but Woohoojin confirmed that immediately answering the title's question in full is great for their format-I'm glad! No harm meant, just wanted to share some insight IF retention was suffering. Which it isn't. Hope everyone has a great day!
These tips are so good mainly that smoking urself and think before taking fights in a chaotic situation. Coincidentally I'm also a jett main and asc2 rn, hopefully i cant get to immo soon with these tips
Your videos are the best, I peaked 354rr EU and been floating 50-250rr since really I’m gunna record some vods and submit them in ur cord to see how I can improve
d3 peak last act and already got d1 back this act playing in lobbies with peak immo and ascendents, your coaching has improved my macro so much i just wish i could tune in to the streams but there at 1:30am and banana says keep a good sleep schedule
You are far better then those pro guide shit and all i mean they teach you every single button to press or smth but you explain it simply and it gets easy to understand and can be used in a game
Which imo can also be applied to fights: What does the gunfight benefit you? Is it in your favor? and your cost of entry can differ based on round dynamics: lower health, more teammates alive, lower entry cost; high health, full team, high entry cost
I had no clue you're supposed to watch the minimap when you jump spot...it's pretty frequent that I'll jump spot someone and their player icon/question mark won't show on the map so maybe this is suboptimal?
Hey banana Just wanted to tell u i improved so much in last month went from hardstuck gold 1 to plat 3 before reset now plat 2 and now due to reset i am getting high ascendent in my lobies but I am literally destroying them with like double kills than second frag and winning 70% games Thanks man appreciated
So I just started your One Month to Gold Reyna Bootcamp. I was silver 2 and I hit gold in 3 days. Should I swap agents now? Finish the week with Reyna? I was a viper/omen main before with a KAYO backup. Would love some guidance, otherwise I’m just gonna keep posing people off by instalocking reyna 😭
Loved the video! Some things I was wondering though: - At the entry at 16:25 you said it’s really good, but didn’t he make himself really vulnerable dashing in like that? You have that small window after a dash were you have to pull out your gun and can’t do anything. If an enemy was in Dugout he would instantly be shot in the back and died right? Or am I overthinking it? - When he jump spotted the Chamber and you saw him move a pixel, that’s really smart and I’ve never thought about that. However, I play with a rotating minimap since I prefer that. Would it still be possible to spot such a small movement if you have it set to rotate? Should I set it to fixed?
When I watched this video I thought I played too much P5 Royal to the point that I heard P5 BGM while watching Woohoojin video. Turns out it's just Woohoojin being absolute man of culture
How can we determine the probability of winning the rounds? do we calculate it only based on the amount of teamates alive vs the amount of enemies and the amount of utility we have or is there something else that could be used to make such calculations? sorry if my question isin't easy to understand, I got kinda lost while writing it haha.
You estimate! Your ability to estimate the odds more accurately will directly equate to better conversions. There's not a direct science to this - a good idea may be to pause a pro soloQ vod before you think they may choose to take a fight and guess if they will or not.
I have a good plan for low elo players, Just watch Woohoojin video's don't forget to like though and just when you understand completely how this guys thinks, Just vod review yourself, You will get instantly better, I will do that trying to hit immortal, Im like 3-4 games away immortal now.
*cough those arent equations becuz they dont have equal signs cough cough* fr though this stuff helps sm lol. Currently A1 and these vods give me sm to think about lol. Thanks for doing this stuff
If you think P(r) is 99% you're either bad at estimating your odds of winning the round, or the bomb is about to blow up and that fight doesn't matter anyways. So I'd take the 60/40!
Notes: Be aggresive. Bully the botfragger. Math idk. Smoke. Thanks bannana man, I will make sure to credit you when my teammates ask me why I’m screaming at the top of my lungs into VC. 👍
I think I've heard you say you don't like reccomending astra to people below Immo. That being said astra seems like the meta pick on split. So the question is who should I play? Would omen be the pick 🤔. Sorry if it's a crazy noob question the map's new to me and I dont see many omen pro vods on the map.

woohoojin really pulled out the piecewise functions
This sounds like Hamilton's Rule: Br - C > 0 (Benefit of winning * probability of winning - cost of entry having a value of > 0 is a "good" gamble)
