Something I feel like I should mention for anyone still struggling, is that Rodin can heal you inbetween verses if you’ve upgraded his “R” move (the dance) so that it gains a healing element, and he’s the only thing in the game that can do that that’s also allowed in Witch Trials
@@TragoudistrosMPH On my winning run I used Rodin, Clock, and Baal as my demons, I just found that Alarune’s healing isn’t effective enough when everyone 3-4 taps you anyway
pretty great that this game has lots of exploits, so i guess this is actually the easiest of the trilogy. in Bayo 1 and 2, i think the only way to heal was killing everyone except one of the weaker enemies, then you constantly taunt them with Star of Dinetia for like 15 minutes before relieving them of their annoyance so your score for time would be horrible
For me: ●ACCESSORIES: Nicleus of Talos, Conqueror's Reins ●DEMONS: Devil Rodin Have Rodin do all the work for you while you dodge when necessary. Easily get you to verse 9. Verse 5 (the one with invisble enemies), you'd have to change your accessories to make things lesss painful. Other than that, good luck!
The lock-on and the camera are legit the hardest bosses in the game. Early on I died 14 times before getting to the next verse…trying to catch a crow atop some cliffs and buildings.
My strategy: Use the Kraken (gotten from Phenomenal Remnant 14, unlocked after beating the game) for most battles. Inch forward on the platform the fights happen, then Black Pearl Rain (Circle-Y) as soon as most waves start spawning. Start a quick 4-hit combo (my favorite was Simoon. If you do the PPKP combo, you can do Kraken's input as Bayo does the final attack if you're fast to save a little time), then use the Wink Slave finisher. Kraken will now be using a much more powerful Black Pearl Rain that kills most things near-instantly, and you can control it by holding ZR and inputting a direction if needed. I'll dub this Black Pearl Wink as I mention it. This is especially effective against the large enemies that are likely to get hit. You can also start this glitch after entering Witch Time (Bracelet of Time recommended). If you can't kill with Black Pearl Wink, you can use Masquerade Rage attacks as an easy burst option. If you do get hit, use Devil Rodin's dance (His R command) after a battle. This can heal you once you upgrade it, and you can cancel by swapping demons as the dance ends to have better magic efficiency. Verse 7 (VS B5 Rosa and Bayonetta, French Thieves): They're both small and, as they're Umbra Witches, able to dodge demon attacks. You can use Phantasmaranae's explosion during Witch Time for high burst damage, but for the most part you can just fight them normally if you pay attention. Bayonetta wields Abracadabra which is a ranged weapon, and Rosa uses Tartarus where she's either using it defensively or slashing as a marionette. Verse 10 (VS Dark Adam and Eve): Use Black Pearl Wink on Adam during Witch Time, otherwise he can dodge. Eve is too small for a very reliable Kraken Rain cheese, but she only has 2 health bars and doesn't do very much damage compared to prior battles. Enter Witch Time on her attacks and beat her legit. As with the normal Chapter 14 fight, her Cassiopeia weapon is a swinging anchor with decent range, but somewhat slow (at least when I tried the actual weapon). Watch for her Masquerade attacks as well.
Probably the hardest verse is Cirrostratus and Cirrocumulus (who are huge, nimble, and with huge questionable hitboxes), then against Singularity Balance and Definition (who is the "final boss" in the story). However, you can just find a Witch Time and obliterate.

There is an easier way to do this. Summon the tower to use the bell, immediately use pkkk with Rodin weapon, on the second hit of the combo, press dpad to switch from clock tower to another demon then back to clock tower and use the bell again. This allows to gain magic during the tower witch time, effectively making an infinite WT loop combo.
I almost had the same setup. Baal, Clocktower and Train. I had the accessory that didn't allow demons to lose control and the one that made their attacks more powerful. I used Labolas and the umbran doors for fighting. My strategy was to overwhelm the enemies with the train as I shot them with the umbran doors for massage damage. I used baal for the annoying tower enemy that makes the others invisible. The umbran clocktower and baal combination for quicker enemies. I rang the bells for witchtime and immediately switches to baal to have her sing.
I found Michtlantecuhtli pretty useful for my attempts. It's lasers can stun lock the large enemies in verses 1 and 3 and switching formations allows you to see the enemies in Verse 5
Thank you kindly for this guide it helped me a lot but i found it better to beat Dark Eve in Verse 10 than to fight the Luka wolf thing.. this took me 3 days to beart but i got my platinum trophy so i am happy
Oh I used the kraken ink jets (when he goes in the air and uses them as jet packs lol) then used a quick combo to use him as a finisher and it literally destroyed them >:D!
One note on Verse 2 against Golem: Its bird (I think) form has an attack where it'll send yellow sound/shock waves (similar to Morpho Knight from Kirby if you know it). Once it does this, wait about a second before pressing dodge since apparently the hitbox comes out a decent bit after the animation starts.
Id like to suggest Miclantecutli (Bat demon) for verse 1 and 6, spamming his lazers will interrupt the enemies every time and in the invisible tower one ramming into the homunculi dropped when you dislodge a tower segment will give you instant torture attacks
Just beat this trial. Had Baal, Urbran Clock tower and Rodin for demons, rodin weapon, and have Nucleus of talso, hymn of durga and conqueror's reins in your items stash. Used Baal to rain poison rain in verses 1, 3-8, have rodin fight golem in verse 2, and have rodin fight on his own in verses 9 and 10. Itemwise, have HOD and CR equipped during when you use Baal's poison rain, and switch to HOD for NOT for verse 9 when you fight singularity B and D, and verse 10 for Dark Adam and Eve. If damage is dealt during any stage, dance with Rodin to heal. Verse 4, Use poison rain twice to finish Valiance and Cumulonimbus at once. Verse 1, poison from Baal, torture attack and Rodin to finish Murus as Accolades will be out due to Baal. Verse 5, poison from Baal and Rodin to finish Pannus and Duplicatus. Verse 6, poison from Baal, torture attack on Volutus, and finish with Rodin, Volutus first as is weaker, then Cirrostratus. Verses 3, 7 and 8, Poison from Baal will clear everyone out at once.
Cool setup and all but you still gotta learn enemy patterns. Thats key here. Some of those attacks still feel kinda off to me after so many hours of playing. For example the hitboxes for the boar enemies. And I believe this is more important in the witch trials than the setup itself but yeah clocktowers witchtime certainly helps a lot.

En la mayor parte del Witch Trial use a mictlantecuhtli en la formacion X con los lasers que dispara, generan mucho daño cuando son Jefes grades como Cumulonimbus y Valiance; para los Jefes de menor tamaño como Singularity use a Alrune con las flores infernales y de ahi spamear Tiempo Brujo jajaja (Aun no logro vencer a Rodin 😔)
Most of them seem to be doable by just spamming dodge as Jeanne and getting Baal's rain up, then swapping to Rodin/Clock Tower Mech for heavy damage during armor reduction
lol.. I didn't realise this is how the bell works. I did it with Colour my World and Alruna paired with Madama, Alraune and Baal; basically how I did everything my first play through. I was actually hoping to find some interesting demon interactions with all the bosses, anyone have some suggestions? Maybe an interesting video topic?
mine is a bit different. Pure Platinum'd them all except verse 5 and 9 caught me off guard. I havent beaten it yet cause i didnt know what to do on 9. I was tryna not use the Rodin as it is kinda OP. Ive been using Magician Bayo, i just switch to Rodin for the L3 R3 attack. Very nice indeed
I used Abracadabra before I unlocked Rodin it's a sick weapon! as for Verse 5 I recommend using Baal and combo the hidden enemies for more combo points for the pure plat. Hope that helps, have a good day brother

You can just use baal's poison rain for Verse 5. Kills the plant that makes the things invisible.

I personally use baal, if you start her singing before the match starts it makes it easier. It also kills most of the enemies with one shot
