I came here for #3 and that really helped. especially when you showed it broken down really slow. now I just need to practice it for 1000 hours or so until it becomes 2nd nature like it is for you. but I'll never be able to do it as good as you man. I remember the first vid of yours I saw was Kung Fu Fighting and that percussion technique you have is really good. I looked up the other guys you mention and honestly I like yours the best.
Dope! One thing that works is simplicity. It’s a complicated technique... but if you keep it simple, it’s easy to sing while playing. Jo’Shua is my favorite dude with this style.
You can ask Jerry Lee Lewis, as once upon a time he threw his piano into the orchestra pit and lit it on fire. I don’t recommend doing that for obvious legal reasons In fact I do not encouraging anyone to light things on fire.
