Thanks Amner - no doubt Waves plugins are good but what a pain they are in Reaper. They never show up after installing until I do a clear cache/rescan of all plugins.....
@@AmnerHunter Apparently it's a common problem with Waves due to the format of their vst3 plugins. This from a Reaper forum: Explanation of why many people struggle with Waves plugins. Waves plugins are NOT standard .dll files or any other conventional plugin format. Waves use their proprietary waveshell system to convert THEIR plugin format to one that whichever DAW software you are running will understand. So when you add new Waves plugins, Reaper or whatever other DAW you are using will not see any change, as it is actually reading the Waveshell file, which doesnt look any different. So you have to clear the existing stuff out of Reapers plugin lists and make reaper treat everything as if it was a new install. THIS allows it to pick up the new stuff you installed via Waves Central. So: Go to Options/Preferences/plugins/VST and press the clear/rescan button. Assuming that Waves Central has installed all the new stuff correctly, Reaper will find it.

It shows on my waves central now but I can not load it, I think is because I moved the sample folder from program files (x86) to Program Files, I'm gonna try fixing that and see if it works.
Constructive criticism. Over 8 (yes, EIGHT !!!) minutes in before we hear what it sounds like? imho, It would be better if the script was "Name of plug in, a few examples of what it sounds like, THEN everything else you said." Otherwise, great video.
Admittedly, this would be an option, but Amner's videos have had the same structure for years, so we are used to that kind of ritual. If you are in a hurry, you can usually click a timestamp in the video description. There is actually one that says »7:59 Sounds« that brings you right to the point where you find what you have come here for.

maybe the routing if not right, you need to set the correct paths in your daw that will scan the plugin folders, look up for that maybe.
