About my brushes
I have always bought my favorite brushes from Drawell direct from Japan. They are handmade in Japan. Drawell will ship readily to anywhere in the world. Thinking about all your creative scenes and illustrations, I believe you need to publish a children's picture book. The scenes and characters you do are so appealing, colorful and imaginative. Children would love them. You can publish online!!!

Inspiration comes from all over. Today I got my inspiration from a kitchen dish towel. I've always loved the design on this towel. Yellow sunflowers and blue birds. So today I slung the towel over a chair near my work table and had a go at painting sunflowers and birds. Turned out very pretty. Your houses are delightful! Thank you!

What a fun filled video! Loved the running commentary and your kitty complaining as you allowed your brush to add whimsical detail to your houses, yards, birds, and flowers. It was a story in itself. Love what you pull out of an empty head….no over thinking. You seem to respond to what you see your brush doing. Love that approach ❤

Thank you for sharing your talents as always. It is nice to see a cozy little street however imaginary it might be. I especially liked the addition of the black linework and that kitty on the roof so cute! Terrible about the florists. Here in America everyday people spend so much money on their flowers outside just for one season. I do not garden, but I enjoy seeing other's handiwork 🙂Blessings

I’d love you to talk about how you choose the brands and colours on your palette. There is so much choice it’s quite intimidating. In Australia it is really more economical to shop online than walk into a shop. Is this why shops in France are closing?

They are a fact checked science podcast and interview neuroscientists. I learnt a lot tbeough it. Love the idea that you imagine through art and creativity. Love these houses. I’d like to have an empty mind at least part of the time… often when I ask my husband what he’s thinking he says nothing…I used to not believe him but maybe it’s true… maybe this is why I love watching you paint because the other stuff goes away…
That’s funny, the past couple of days Tamsin has been saying she wishes the voices in her head would shut up!
Why are all the shops in France shut down? That seems sad..
Many of the small independent shops can’t compete now with online shopping. Our village has only one small 7-11 type shop now and the nearest town has many empty shops on the high street. Yes, it’s sad.
If you read Genesis 1, you will notice that God didn't imagine light. He spoke it into existence, along with every thing else. He spoke it, then he saw it and liked what He saw. I like to think I am made in His image and likeness, and so I find myself doing things like He would. I don't know who these people are that say that your imagination is abnormal. As far as I know, we are all unique. Anyway, I seem to do things the way you do, so maybe the person coming up with all this "Wisdom" is the one who is abnormal. Just sayin! I love your painting, and I think you have an amazing imagination!
Well, “in the beginning was the word” - not the picture, so you are right, the world was spoken into existence not pictured! I don’t feel abnormal and in fact I think having indelible visual memories must be overwhelming and inhibiting to the imagination. We’re all unique!
Hmm... I have never painted a house... time to try!
