I've been spoilt my MyMechanic and TysyTube! REAL restorers! I watch something like this, which is a clean up, at best, and see everything he didn't do, everything short cut he took, and I want to cry! He even put the rusted outlet pipe back on, with no hint of an attempt to derust it!

I don't know if you thought to use gloves, but i found the yellow dishwashers gloves great for all the cleaners i used. My hands got beat up with that, cement, paint thinners.. Great rebuild.👍👍

I mean, I think it's good that you want to bring old machines to life to save money. But if you do not do something right, you throw the machine away after 6 months.
An old, dirty, rusty pump with new bearings and seals will work for a generation. They opposite is not true. This was a huge water off time and effort, unless your using this thing as decoration.
Only thing I can add is, please include the chemicals you used for the clean up and paint. Some viewers like to see what you used as an idea for our own restore projects.
The maintenance process has not been completed and the manual is making an annoying sound, so you must change the front and rear pegs, and not just renew it externally.

This is JD china 0.37 kw motor has good pressure but one problem if we throw in the water like this guy throw in the water after some time it's impaller getting choke.
Not even removing all parts passes for a "restoration" these days? Why do I spend my days changing out bearings and shaft seals and gaskets when I could have just polished and painted everything!

I am wondering why did you hammer on a double sided phillips bit then used a flat blade screwdriver? Then on some you used a socket and wrench but others that you could you used a phillips screwdriver? I subscribed to see the next project and how that goes.

If you take a pump apart, you've got to replace the shaft seal. It's like putting brand new rotors on a car, and then using the same old brake pads.

да не должно быть такого, если краска нормальная и грунтовка
@@Dertsm6795 на видео не видно грунтовки - либо там сразу краска по металлу, либо облезет быстро
