- Steven Universe Future theories rage on with an alternate pat for the identity of the mysterious beast in the opening! Could this creature be apart of a new alien race entirely? Could it be Sneeple? Here's why we believe this alien could actually be the CREATOR of the Diamonds, and how Steven's actions throughout the series may have actually sealed the fate of White Diamond in particular!

could also be a possible way to introduce Black diamond [as the concept was shown a couple seasons back] , a fusion of all 4 leaders / diamonds to fight their creator
@@vurnixtexcelsian4519 I always thought Black Diamond would be a fusion of Steven, Yellow, and Blue, since their colors are Magenta, Yellow, and Cyan (the three colors that, when mixed as pigments, form the color black). I wouldn't be surprised if we see the three remaining diamonds fuse to fight off the creator and the controlled White, only it doesn't work, they're still not strong enough. Their failure is what causes Blue and Yellow to be open to cross gem fusion themselves, and we get some combination of Obsidian fusing with Yellow and Blue to finally bring peace to the galaxy. Only by the CGs and the Diamonds actually, truly working together will they be able to resolve the situation. I gotta say, a seven stone fusion made up of those particular gems? They would be awesome and terrible to behold.

I always liked the idea that the Diamonds wiped out their original organic creators! Given the disdain they have for organic life, and the fact that Steven and Connie are able to breathe not only on Homeworld but in all Gem spaceships and space stations, it makes sense that all these accommodations are vestiges of an organic race that gems used to serve. And I like the idea that White Diamond was kinda like a mainframe, meant to administrate and organize the artificial workforce, but she started to resent her organic creators! It gives her backstory a sort of HAL- or Skynet-like twist. It also explains why servitude is the only framework the Diamonds (and consequently all the gems they create) understand.

My fanfic: Ancient humans dominate the galaxy, this guy comes in the picture, humans almost become extinct with some surviving one earth and one that transfers their mind in an artificially created supercomputer(a gemstone) and creates a substance that can create more gemstones with minds already in them( that liquid in injectors ) then restarts civilization in space with the remaining human technology. Second theory: This is more of an Ying Yang thing where we assume that a black diamond once existed and probably got shattered or smth else by that worm snake thing and now they try to ressurect him(male cuz Ying Yang thing)

I thought about this a few years ago, why create gems for use to simply colonize the galaxy? What does their expansion gain them? why are most of the gems made combat oriented. To most worlds, they are overwhelmingly overpowering, so why do they continue to expand and grow their armies? Is there a larger enemy they must defeat?

My only question: Why did the creator program gems to colonize planets? I mean, if gems can live forever if they're not shattered, and they were not programmed to battle in wars and stuff (unless they have to fight the aliens that inhabit a planet that they want to colonize in order to colonize it, but it seems like they're too powerful and would obliterate any aliens if they wanted to, just like with humans on earth), then why do they need to reproduce and colonize other planets for resources? I bet there are at least twice as many gems than there are humans since they're not dying and being born every second like humans. They're just being "born". I would get it if they needed the other colonies because Homeworld was becoming overpopulated, but then why would they be making more on every planet they colonize? I would also understand if they colonized planets for the Wormy Boi (if he's the creator), but then why are they using up all the resources to make gems? I find it very confuzzling and I hope it's explained in SU: Future, or if not, on a podcast or at a panel or something.

I mean, he could also check up on them after stevens message to the universe, the one that tells all about the war, pinks death, and steven entire life. She did say the movie would have Consequences
Theory: Maybe wormy boi is NOT the creator but was just sent to check up on things! Maybe there is a bigger antagonist that steven can't reason with.
I think one way this theory can work well is if the White Diamond thing in the intro isn't tied to it, but it instead leads up to it. Besides her problem being caused by wormy boi, I think another option is that she's had a harder and harder time dealing with being flawed, and it's something she ends up suppressing less and less. As a result it brings into a discussion what the diamonds were meant for and who they were made by etc. (which then leads to talking about wormy boi)

I actually have another possibility for why the creators may return:
What if the Diamonds, since it is implied White wasn't doing things properly, the Diamonds did turn on their creators or accidentally drove them off. And now that Gem Kind has demilitarized, they now return for revenge. It's certainly a possibility.
If there's a thing Steven Universe taught me is that it's always probably going to be Pink Diamond's fault.
I think its for food. I think the worm creature created the Diamonds to make Gems that he could later harvest and he's returned to feast. Controlling Diamonds could have been the worm's plan all along when there was enough gems for him to eat. With colonization stopped, that means not as many gems are being made. The worm could be the farmer picking his crops after they are done producing food for him.

Pink diamond was the actual creator of the diamonds but then after she created the diamonds she was hit by a rejuvenater and white diamond took her place and now steven gets corrupted and turns into pink diamond's true form.
I know it's a stretch but it could kinda work.
It makes sense seeing that Steven's Shield blocked White Diamonds attack.

They thought that they killed all the gems or something like that. She didn't even know of Stevens existence and once she saw pink Steven (all gem Steven) she fired a blast because she was threatened.

It makes sense. The Diamonds "mined" many worlds and produced many gems under their command. But not only. "Or their sharp teeth": even before the Rebellion, the Gems Empire had a strong military, as it is demonstrated by the existence of many military specific gems (Quartz, Rubies, etc), but why would they need an army? Nevertheless a fleet? I mean, ok, maybe an army could be needed on a particularly feral world (but even so they should have faced MANY feral worlds before), but a fleet? The humans was the first sentient biological creature they met, and at the Gems arrival they were still primitives, so what's the point of a fleet? What I'm trying to say is that, for what Gem-kind has faced until now, their military infrastructure is (or, at this point, was) suspiciously too developed for being justified and while it can be just "precaution", it still doesn't make a lot of sense, even less so if we think about how the Gem Empire was about optimizing everything before Steven. So yeah, it is probable that Ronaldo foreshadowed what's going to happen in SU Future. Sorry for bad english, just in case (?).

Humans weren't the only sentient biological creatures that the gems met, though they may have been the most advanced. In Jungle Moon, we see plenty of organic alien lifeforms, and it's entirely possible that they existed on other planets and moons too. I believe the armies existed to take down organic life that got in the way of their colonies.
Also, many military gems functioned as things other than soldiers, such as guards. Like the Amethyst guards in the human zoo, and the Topaz guards in front of the Diamond palace.
@@PinguinodelRio For "sentient" I meant capable of rational thought, and yes, it was stated by the Diamonds themselves that the humans were the first they met in the whole galaxy (as you already said, before they only met creatures like those seen in Jungle Moon, so not really intelligent). And while it is possible the army was supposed to be a tool for repressing organic life forms on colonizable worlds (but I doubt that because the humans were left alone during the invasion as they would just die off after the colonization process was completed, and I think the Gems had similar modus operandi for all the other worlds before Earth), the necessity for a fleet is not explained yet. Regarding the Quartzes and the Topazes, I think Topazes are like our police, with, as you said, a role as guards and enforcers (like those with Aquamarine), but that the Quartzes in the Zoo are there only because they are seen as imperfect and undesirable for their origin on the "infamous" planet Earth, but they were deemed to have still some usefulness and so they were assigned to some minor work. But still, I can be wrong and I suppose we will see when SU Future is out.

Well, I think only Gems from Era-1 are capable of creating half organic and Gem organisms, since Gems from Era-2 can't shapeshift.
Honestly I kinda doubt it not all gems have pink diamonds ability of life. She is one of the most powerful being in the universe and she has many powers that are completely unique to her. I completely doubt that there’s another gem powerful enough to pull that off. Not even the other diamonds because they don’t possess her abilities.
