I saw this video and bought the 3a No regrets! I'm loving this, the photos are in par and sharper than my girlfriend's iPhone 11, i was blown away by this phone and I'm only on the 3rd day.

I got the 3a XL for three reasons: 1. The camera 2. Google's software 3. The battery 7to8hrs SOT The OLED display & the headphone jack! On sale for 4oo.oo bucks tax included?
My Pixel 2 is in a drawer now, I bought the 3aXL a few months ago. And with my new carrier I'm getting unlimited everything, including hotspot for $25 per month, no extra fees. I'm very pleased with the phone and the service. 👍 Great video and a great device.

Studied and phone the pixel 3a and I recommend it to everyone now. It has been the easiest streamlined phone I’ve used and he pictures are wicked good. At half the cost his phone is a no brainer.
Great video. Keep it up. I have the Google pixel 3a XL and have no complaints. Camera is amazing for the price. I really hope they come out with a Pixel 4a XL and not just the 4a.
I see some lag when doing multiple photos, that is the camera icon remains up and it is processing in the background. I also close most of my open apps regularly. But it is a great phone coming from a Nexus 5X and Moto X4
Very good review, here it was Cyber Monday & I wanted a pixal phone. I viewed the pixal4 reviews & videos and even with the two hundred dollar discount I chose the 3a XL. Why? It's the true value pixal. At 379.00 I think I made the best choice. Of course i also like saving money. The camera is just about as good as the 4. The 670processer will be fine for me. I think I made the right choice!
Stoked you picked it up! I think you'll dig it, it was definitely the right choice for me and at that price point, it's an INSANE value. Enjoy your pixel :)
I chose the 3a XL on Cyber Monday for 4oo.oo bucks tax included. The best four hundred I ever spent. That camera is simply amazing. Plus SIRI is no contest for Google Assistant. The iPhone is just not my cup of tea. For the price not only is the 📷 is best in class, it's better than most flagships. Very good review!

Absolutely worth it. If you can get any amount from google for the 6p, the jump in performance will be great and the camera advancements will be ENORMOUS. Absolutely recommend it
I always advise iPhone users to try Google Pixel the only way to see how good Android software really is. I can use both but I always end up using my Pixel 3a more than my iPhone 11 Pro I'm actually waiting on the Pixel 4a. Note people who have always used a iPhone probably will never appreciate Android software but people who are open to trying Android please don't buy a Samsung Galaxy you will not get the pure Android software experience due to the fact Samsung includes it's own software on top of Android. Meaning you will have a lot of double apps which is unnecessary. For instance 2 emails, 2 photo galleries ,2 app stores as you can see my point. Pixel phones are on the same level as iPhone when it comes to optimization very smooth. thanks
@@rahulghansyala3331 Lots of speculation now, my guess would be we see a release in May just like the 3a hovering in the same price point. The 3a should be heavily discounted leading up to the date. Very exciting time of year, I'm stoked to pick up the 4a when it releases
Is this phone considered slow? I don’t mind hiccups, but I just want a phone that’ll browse the web smoothly and watch RUclips. Is it smooth enough for that minimal use?
Great video. Thank you. I strongly considered the 3a 64gb, but got the iPhone 11 128gb instead. The Pixel 3a is a great budget phone. It has a headphone jack and fingerprint reader; we can all appreciate that. It has the same camera as the Pixel 4 and it has the Camera app; Pixel's claim to fame. Android updates are also available early on Pixel devices; nice. But that is where the Pros end. Consider this: The Pixel 3 and Pixel 4 have a dedicated Neural Processing chip to speed up the computational photography and such; the Pixel 3a does not. It's just a budget smartphone with some software. The Google Camera App can be side-loaded onto my other Android devices, like my old LG V30, which has a better headphone amp, wide-angle camera, and it's cheaper on the used market. When you consider this, the Pixel 3a is a software play, using budget hardware. I can get Night Sight mode working on my V30, which is hilarious, and blows away the Pixel 3a as a result. I still use my V30 for the gym, where it's lightweight and has a fantastic DAC. The reality is, the camera on Pixel devices SUCK. It becomes Good (for photography) because of computational photography processing. This is on display when we look at video. The iPhone has fluid, stable, and natural video, while the Pixel offers video that I'd expect from the era of iPhone 7. Apple is improving its computational photography at a very fast pace though; it has a night sight mode on the iPhone 11 that is pretty great (finally). But in an age of TikTok and live video, the SELFIE camera is really where things get important, and the Pixel devices don't even try to offer a good selfie experience. TikTok's will call out those who have shitty selfie cameras, and really, and iPhone Xs or newer is pretty much essentially on that front. Android phones are struggling to keep up on that front; very few manage that experience well. Lastly, the iPhone bionic chips are light years ahead of Snapdragon. The Pixel 4 requires its own neural chip just to compensate for the sad state of affairs on that front. And while I'm really impressed with the Pixel 4's neural chip, until it can do its magic with live video, and improve its battery life, I won't be going near it.
Very well written and well thought out comment, man. I agree largely with what you said. I won't be returning to LG in the near future cause I bummed on my last LG phone but their DAC is insanely great compared to literally anyone else. I think the iphone bionic chips are better because they're custom and designed ground up for apple devices. There's huge performance advantages there and they need less RAM because of alot of those optimizations. I think alot of what we pay for in this age of smartphones is the computational photography, I'm excited for Apple to catch up algorithmically, and Google to step up the hardware a bit and see where we land by next year. Thanks for watching and I hope you're still digging your phone!
I currently have a Iphone 11 and want to go back to Android. I do not use any Social Media but i want a good phone for the things i do use. Is the Pixel 3a a downgrade or still a good phone as of June 2020. I have no need for a 1K smartphone anymore.
