@@danInRealife well if I can add a little complement of information to this there's two things to know : Francis did say to a french MMA website that ciryl ain't got Stipe's experience so it'll be an easier fight (that's like documented, in video etc) and for the code part there is a real inferiority complex in France because our athletes are often boring as hell outside of the field because we used to hate (that's a cliché but it's kinda true) people that are acting up, playing the superstar game (French's favorite athlete is ngolo kanté, a millionaire soccer player that drive an old Mini cooper) and you have to admit that Francis change since living in the us , learning the showmanship (if that exists) and looking like an US athlete (maybe the fact that is English improved help)

Ciryl takes the persona of a combat sports fighter to another level. He genuinely wants to be friends with Francis and it's very humbling to look at him trying even after all the animosity. Francis himself knows about the loops and flaws on both sides and doesn't want to weaken himself towards a former mate. Would be so worth while to watch them on fight day.

These press conferences are always.. weird. In a good way. Gives the professional fighters some time to express themselves and show their personality while answering the dumbest questions from mostly attempted instigators.
to be honest I'm a boxing fan, the UFC could do a little better in promoting their fighters a month or even weeks before the fight, I honestly didn't know ngannou and gane or Brandon were fighting lol but it's the same thing sometimes with boxing. but they have a good platform to promote them better
