I grew up in Pensacola then left in the 90’s after HS and then returned in the early 2000’s and then left again about 5 years ago. Now I’m stuck in SoCal. I miss having a beach where the sand is white and and the water is NOT freezing.
We moved from SoCal to FL in 2004. No beach in Cali can compare to FL beaches! I love love love FL beaches. We live in C FL (St Cloud) I think I’ve been to almost all the beaches around the whole state and down to the keys. I would never trade to go back to SoCal. (Although I do miss the food choices in Cali
Amen to this! I live in So Cal and me and my wife were just in Miami for a few days and the beach was amazing and the water was warm! The water here in SO CAL is freezing and you always need a wet suit to swim lol
Back in 1969 and 1970 I lived in Brandon, FL and loved going to Lithia Springs. It was a great place to spend the day. You could swim and drink the water at the same time. You probably still can…
Tripped across this Vid. Best part of Florida. My two kids are stationed at Eglin AFB. I grew up in SoCal in the 60s and 70s. I would never ever to back there best beaches ever. Looking at moving there
I live in P'cola, about 20 mins from the beach and I LOVE my city!!! Oh and those storms, yeah they happen allll the time here; we mostly just laugh at all the warnings cause it's so frequent, lol.
I'm from Fort Walton Beach Destin. Married an airforce girl and had to move to Colorado Springs a few years ago and now we have to go to California for a few years before we can retire back in Florida. We miss it so much.
You two are amazing volleyball players!! Love the braces there….did you hear the sand squeak?and the water….it’s all just too much eye candy! Glad the storms didn’t affect you too much! We had 3 tornado warnings in that region while we were there in March. I feel ya!
Glad you enjoyed my little part of world! Pub subs on the beach are the absolute best! The storms are a little crazy but typically the best sleeping weather!
We love the Emerald Coast RV resort in Panama City Beach. Headed there next week to enjoy the beach. Love this area of Fl. We met y’all in St Augustine last year. Safe travels.
LMAO! Love the take on our hometown. I've heard a lot of people freak over the years due to our storms. I guess it's a true testament to what you can get used to and camouflage it under NORMAL, lol. Us locals have to wade through the rich and ignorant in order to enjoy our beaches as well. Looks like yall still had a good time. Rock on. Peace, One Love One Light!
I Live Here & It's Like being on Permanente Vacation. I Absolutely Love it Here. I Think you Guy's Did a Great Job w/the Video. I Hope You Enjoyed Some of the Freshest Seafood in the World. This is Paradise & I Recommend it Highly. You Can't Help but Smile & Be in a Great Mood Around All this Beauty. It's Like Heaven on Earth. The Northern Panhandle of Florida has the Most Beautiful Beaches on Earth. 🏝
That part of Florida is definitely fun, but the storms while being in a travel trailer can be a little nerve racking. Great video and can’t wait for more. Safe travels.
Use the RV parks bath house if they have one. They are usually concrete. Even your 3/4 ton truck is better than your trailer and you can be ready to drive away if necessary.
I live in Gulf Breeze. I’ve lived in Florida a total of 31 years (15 years in Jacksonville & St. Augustine & 16 years in Gulf Breeze) and the Emerald Coast beaches are by far the best beaches I’ve ever seen. We do get some wicked weather here, though. And it’s pretty much ground zero for hurricanes. Glad y’all made it through the storms safely. Great video! 👍🏻
Awesome video!!!! Get a boat anchor. Pound it into the ground up wind from camper. Then hope the other campers don’t fly into you. Just kidding. But I think I’d rather be in the truck with a roll cage.
My family and I built all the decking at the harbor walk like 15 years ago. I'm surprised it still looked that decent after all those years and constant traffick. Watching your video is making me home sick.
Camping with my family at St. Joe state park way back when was one of the reasons I moved to Florida back in 1987. Had been all around the state before settling in Sarasota. Fond memories of the panhandle.
i live in destin on miramar beach like actually ON IT beachfront & i love it so much. i’ve lived here since i was 5 months old & i’m currently 14. still paradise
At 5:34 you can see the blue booth on the left. Thats the dolphin tour boat i work on. I wish i knew you guys before this video! I just saw it pop up on my feed. It would have been really cool to take you guys on a trip!
I live in fort Walton Beach FL. I always tell people to go out onto the pier behind angler's on Okaloosa island around 9am and wait for the dolphins to swim by. It's so cool
as a local, we don't pay much attention to tornado watches/warnings. we don't have basements anywhere in the panhandle anyways. biggest concern is don't be anywhere close to a large tree in case it falls because of high winds.
Thanks for sharing glad yall made it out of all that safely! Weather can be fickle for sure we had tornado warnings last night with hail... I was freaking a little about our home and trailer being trashed. Stay safe hope your travels continue to go smooth! We also made it through with no damage!
If you can plan your trip far enough in teh future, the Emerald Coast has some great State Parks with very reasonable rates. Grayton Beach and and Topsail Hill are a couple of my favorites. Enjoyed the video!
That was such a dramatic ending and for no reason, it’s the tropics… it’s rain heavy like that lol I lived in Destin for five years and absolutely loved it. Water is super warm end of start of June till November 🙌
Glad you like where I live. OBW the palm trees are native to our area lol. Storms are a little rare during this time of the year. Glad you were okay. Yes we are in the South
We moved to the Emerald Coast for the beaches. Really well done video. Been here for a bit now and you can start to take advantage of how insane the beaches are here. We live about a minute off the water (that minute saves a ton in insurance!) I’d argue best in America, let alone Florida. Thanks for the reminder!
We went to Florida first week of June 2022 stayed at Fort Walton beachfront room, beautiful view. Did y'all eat at McGuire's Irish pub? There ribeye is money dude.
Pub subs on the beach is as florida as you can get! You guys need to visit the springs ans clearwater beach. If you come to clearwater id take you to 3 rooker on my boat!
Former FL LEO here in Fort Walton beach Okaloosa County. It was cool to see your travel and vacation stay in our area. It looks like y'all had plenty of fun while you were here and enjoyed the "Salt Life". Come back soon!
Welcome to Florida other places you should check out are Morrison Springs in ponce de Leon about 1 hr north east of Destin. There are a lot of river and springs in area as well. Hope you enjoy your time! From a local born and raised.
Welcome to my neck of the woods. If you guys are in the area again, you need to go down 30A between Destin and Panama City Beach. Glad you guys were safe during the storm. I live 15 minutes North of Navarre and it got bad near my house.
Our parks fill up very quickly- so each park is almost always “not guaranteed re-entry”. There’s multiple that will have a line a mile long at 8am. Absolutely love seeing my home from others perspective. 🦋
Yes Dayna. True, however, for all Dept. of Environmental Protection employees (we own and maintain all the state parks/springs) we always get free and guaranteed admission regardless of the existing # of guests. Just one of many perks for being a State govt. employee.
My sister lives in Destin, and I follow several adventure travel channels (mostly by boat though) which is probably why RUclips recommended this video to me. Destin is a great place, very fun. Happy travels to you.
We are Germans living temporary in the US and searching for great adventures. Thanks for the Video, we definitely love Destin, FL and this green carribean water.
The Dolphins actually live here in Destin Harbor Year round! There's all kinda different boat. Charters In town too. It's a fishing village at its heart , but it's also so much more!! Thanks for visiting our home and making this wonderful video about it!!
You two are crazy to stay there with those severe warnings I was there years ago storm came in and blue all the RVs around beautiful place to visit when the weather is cooperating love your dance moves and your sense humor stay safe you didn't mention the price of gas while you were down there
We've been getting tornado warnings out on our end too. First time Tao and I thought it was a joke but nope serious situation for sure. Happy ou guys are all good in the hood. Can't wait to see ya'll!
That was 1 of 2 storms like that we had in the matter of 2 weeks. They were no joke because of tornado threats but it was only high end Tropical Storm level type conditions for a short period of time. Imagine all that wind and rain for a couple of hours and that is what a weak hurricane is like. Still something we don't worry much about here.
We just camped at Big Lagoon State Park (in Pensacola) for $22 a night! The sites are secluded, beautiful, had water and electricity but no sewer hookup and are not level.
If you get a Seaside Florida where The Truman Show was filmed those houses are 1.5 million. It's literally everything you need in one city block. It's got a church, school, bookstore, music store, marketplace.
Crazy thunder storms and hurricane are normal for us natives and I didn't realize that the frequency of nasty storms wasn't the norm until I moved out west and maybe see rain twice a year now.
Just an FYI Gulf Island National Seashore goes across Pensacola Beach so you can't take off your drone except in the parking lot because that's owned by the county.
What beach is best for sandbars, not crowded, and clear water no seaweeds? Bc I have a toddler and shallow water is perfect for him to play in the sand
I was born and raised in citrus county Florida lived here my whole life, and I can’t stand the beach hot, sand, people, Sunburn did I mention the people I’m glad to see someone is enjoying it.😂😂😂
I grew up in Pensacola then left in the 90’s after HS and then returned in the early 2000’s and then left again about 5 years ago. Now I’m stuck in SoCal. I miss having a beach where the sand is white and and the water is NOT freezing.

Can I ask you if winters (Dec-March) dip below 70s in Pensacola? If so, could you pls give me average temp ranges per month v
V = ? *
Im from Pensacola. I lived in San Diego for 5 year when I was in the navy. I loved it there. If I could afford it I would go back
Amen to this! I live in So Cal and me and my wife were just in Miami for a few days and the beach was amazing and the water was warm! The water here in SO CAL is freezing and you always need a wet suit to swim lol
We love our beaches here. You cannot drive anywhere without seeing water;the sound, the bay, the Gulf of Mexico! So relaxing!
So glad you enjoyed our little paradise at Pensacola Beach! I’m lucky to live here! 🌴🦩🐬🐠
3:05 White Noise (small fan) is amazing for external sounds :) 8:07 Pub Sub.......Great Choice!!
I’m glad you got to visit here. I was born and raised in Ft Walton Beach. I have seen this place grow tremendously.
It’s a beautiful spot and I can imagine it continuing to grow very quickly in popularity! Cheers!
As a Panama City resident, I will say it was a bad spring for wildfires and tornadoes in the area. We do have nice beaches though....and traffic....
Back in 1969 and 1970 I lived in Brandon, FL and loved going to Lithia Springs. It was a great place to spend the day. You could swim and drink the water at the same time. You probably still can…

It’s a unique spot most definitely and has the large bulk of the best beaches in the country! 🤘🏽
I live in P'cola, about 20 mins from the beach and I LOVE my city!!! Oh and those storms, yeah they happen allll the time here; we mostly just laugh at all the warnings cause it's so frequent, lol.
the storms are our biggest fear. thank you for the small tips on calling around for shelter. be safe on your travels..
All good Mike, we learning too haha Florida’s full of surprises but love it here!

Unfortunately they didn’t have any facilities. Just our hookups! But that’s what we would have done 👍🏼

Awesome video! Watched Barefoot Vlogger's RV series on 30A and fell in love with that part of Florida. Your drone shots are amazing.
My family and I built all the decking at the harbor walk like 15 years ago. I'm surprised it still looked that decent after all those years and constant traffick. Watching your video is making me home sick.
Always cool to see other people's perspective on a place we call home.

You stayed at the Holley Navarre rv park that is brand new and packed from the get go. I live not 10 minutes from there. Glad you enjoyed your stay.
Every video you guys do is always done with excellence. This is tops due to the BEAUTIFUL beaches.
I live in fort Walton Beach FL. I always tell people to go out onto the pier behind angler's on Okaloosa island around 9am and wait for the dolphins to swim by. It's so cool

If you like warm water go in the gulf of mexico in the summer, its around 90 degrees it feels like bath water.
Heck yea 🤘🏽
We are Germans living temporary in the US and searching for great adventures. Thanks for the Video, we definitely love Destin, FL and this green carribean water.
This is my home and you guys did a great job of capturing its beauty .
Appreciate the kind words, cheers!
Honored to have popped your panhandle cherry 😘 Those beaches are seriously gorgeous- no filter necessary ✨
The Dolphins actually live here in Destin Harbor Year round! There's all kinda different boat. Charters In town too. It's a fishing village at its heart , but it's also so much more!! Thanks for visiting our home and making this wonderful video about it!!
So glad you survived the storm ⛈ Funny how quickly the weather can go from that to sunny in a snap!

Punctuation, Mark. Punctuation.
We love this area. Next time look at staying a little north at one of the Milton RV parks. Cheaper and 30 minutes from Navarre or Pensacola beach.
We'll have to look that one up! Thanks Quentin!
We've been getting tornado warnings out on our end too. First time Tao and I thought it was a joke but nope serious situation for sure. Happy ou guys are all good in the hood. Can't wait to see ya'll!
Great Video - Glad you made it to our Playground 🤙

Will do, thanks for the tips!

We just camped at Big Lagoon State Park (in Pensacola) for $22 a night! The sites are secluded, beautiful, had water and electricity but no sewer hookup and are not level.
Welcome to living in the gulf south. Tornado warnings on the regular this time of year 😆
Lived in Gulf Breeze for 16 years, moved to the UK and now I’m on my way back for college. I’m 19. Pensacola Beach is my home ❤️
If you are looking for more Florida amazing beaches Siesta Key Beach has always been ranked in the top ten. It's in Sarasota county. Safe travels
Just went there and loved it David! Thanks for sharing!
Nice view ohhh and the beach was beautiful to lol
omg, so fun. Great video!
Thanks Adam, cheers!
If you get a Seaside Florida where The Truman Show was filmed those houses are 1.5 million. It's literally everything you need in one city block. It's got a church, school, bookstore, music store, marketplace.
I live in Navarre (behind Publix).
We get storms all the time…
You should come back for a hurricane.
😂😂😂
the two gray things on the bottom of that umbrella, are handles, unfold them to help you screw that thing into the sand! =)
Crazy thunder storms and hurricane are normal for us natives and I didn't realize that the frequency of nasty storms wasn't the norm until I moved out west and maybe see rain twice a year now.
Good to know, thanks for sharing! Cheers!
Re-entry not guaranteed means, if you leave the park and then come back later that day and the parking lot is full, they won't let you in.
Thanks for clarifying, that totally makes sense!
Just an FYI Gulf Island National Seashore goes across Pensacola Beach so you can't take off your drone except in the parking lot because that's owned by the county.
The panhandle is pretty much the only place on the gulf coast with clear blue water…. All the places in Tampa Bay and south are murky and brown.
That’s pretty true for the most part, the keys have clear water too but the panhandle’s got the most it one spot! Thanks for sharing!
What beach is best for sandbars, not crowded, and clear water no seaweeds? Bc I have a toddler and shallow water is perfect for him to play in the sand
I was born and raised in citrus county Florida lived here my whole life, and I can’t stand the beach hot, sand, people, Sunburn did I mention the people I’m glad to see someone is enjoying it.😂😂😂
Just rented condo on beach 12th floor at 4th July you may find some 275 but mostly avg. 300 to 450 a night mine was 2700 7 days
That sounds about right for those dates and the view from above! Cheers, thanks for sharing!
What beach are you on when you put your umbrella up and played volleyball?
Mermaids and beaches ⛱️ are always a thumbs up 👍
We moved down here we love it best beautiful beaches and blue waters
It’s amazing!
Go to St. George Island!
