I loved what Louis did for Rachel. It's an extremely difficult thing to take the blame for something that you weren't responsible for, especially when it shatters someone's dream. He cared about her enough to let her hate him for the rest of their lives potentially. Yeah, it didn't last more than 2 minutes, but he was trying to keep her self-esteem alive and he was willing to pay for it.
@@houseofsports8122not to her level. She always throws pity parties for herself, demands she is strong and can handle anything yet when anyone tells her what she does not want to hear she freaks out. She is by far the worst character on the show.
Sheila is the victim. Now Rachel thinks Shiela is petty and she deserved Harvard admission. Also what else Mike is supposed to say other than pity and other schools etc.
Imo this is a nice reality check for her. She probably thought she was a shoo-in because her father is Robert Zane and that she worked at Pearson-Hardman. Given she still fumbled, the rest of her application must've been pretty unimpressive or just not what they were looking for that year. It's a fictional show but just saying.
louis is apologizing because he is her friend and louis cares about his friends, especially their feelings. louis wanted to spare rachel's feelings about not being good enough. louis isnt entirely wrong for this since rachel gets into another ivy league school which shows she is good enough, just not for harvard
How Mike managed that switch around still amazes me to this day, imagine their faces when they saw the script for the scene🤣
They were probably so turned on too, little nasties on the set

The file room scene between Mike and Rachel is my favorite
Luis not only saying sorry but he's really sorry is profound.
This is the episode where I understood why it's unfair, to the world around that is the top of the top cream, to hire Mike Ross
classic rachel moment - others fighting her battles for her yet she's the most insufferably entitled person on the screen
sounds like mike
You could apply that to every character in the show for at least a couple arcs

Please make one of Louis convincing Sheila to flee to Argentina for the trial against Mike Ross
Its absolutely epic

What grades did she even want?
I hate Rachel. She always throw pity parties for herself then demands she be treated like everyone else who can handle anything.
How unkind and unsympathetic of a human being she had to be to say the words "Then tell me". Unbelievable!
I’m glad Mike and Rachel got married to each other
cmon why is louis apologizing, rachel didn't deserve the harvard admission and its not because of the Louis-Sheila relationship

lol…ok….
