But I am disappointed in the lavender shade in the quad - so I think I may get the Surratt shadow in Ravissante - thank you so much for featuring it. I do love the lip shade you’re wearing so I may try to get that one. (A little French lesson: Lilas = lee-lah, Dragée = drah-soft “j”-eh. A dragée is a little old-fashioned pastel-coloured candy - when I was a child, my German grand-mother would send me little bags of dragées and my favorite were the pastel green ones, that contained a little pistachio, and the white ones that contained an almond). I agree with you about the Chanel palette - but I like the look I get when I combine colors. It was nice to see something different from Chanel ! The high sheen of the blush is not appealing for my mature skin. I have the Chantecaille palette too. I just ordered several Surratt eyeshadows- I like the formula. I'm surprised that Aventura released these to you early. I work with Bricknell. They're great, but I had to wait until this morning to get my order placed. Can't wait to get this blush. Warmer than I expected but it's beautiful. Very thorough review of this collection. Also, that Sisley Orchidee blush can be found at a significant discount on several legit websites. So much less than the Chanel Fantaisie. For your viewers, they should know that Bricknell told me that every single blush was sold out yesterday. No re-orders and no news about the website or any department stores getting it. I think both Chanel and Dior need to step up their launches of what used to be their Asian products, for the US market. Clearly demand in the States is huge. Thanks for the video.💚
It's a long story but they had permission to sell them to me when Chanel briefly decided to move up the launch a couple weeks ago. They had already shipped them when Chanel moved it back to April 1 and I was asked to wait until then to post. I completely agree that they really need step up their launches. I'm glad the items are all still available online right now but the fact that they have such limited supplies is panic-inducing for many so I really hope they change these practices.
@@LexiJong The blush isn't available online right now. It may never be. I had pre-ordered with my SA. And she never let me know there was an earlier allocation. I've been after her for months. So I think Aventura was the only store that did that. And maybe just for influencers.

Great video! I went with the Balm Essential Stick in Lilas, the liquid lipstick in Gormandies, and the Rouge Coco Baume in Sweet Treat, as well as the eyeshadow quad and the blush. I think it will will be very pretty for Spring.

Loved another great video, so detailed with all the swatches, and i looks sooooooo fabulous on your lighter skintone dear Lexi!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩For me, the quad, swatched, still are going to use, lots of puppy time here, but beautiful quad!!! The blush, my skintone is just a hint deeper, light to only little littlbe medium in summer, now light, light and light. The blush is a cute coloured highlighter on me. But love it! It's subtle, when i see to much of these very small elegant glitters i go with another clean brush over it: under control. They really seem to make progress at Chanel, cute collections, most gorgeous on lightest skintones, like you!!!!! But i also like it very much!!! I love your finished look, thank you for re-creating the Chanel promo look. I will be trying it. I ordered the eyeshadow and blush. I love the Baume Essentiel sticks, but I prefer more color in them so they can be used as a moisturizing blush. My current shade is Rosee’. The sticks play very well atop the Sublimage Baume moisturizer (the best product for blurring fine lines and crepey skin I’ve ever found). I apply the sticks the way Lexi did in the demo when she used her finger to pick up the product and patted it in, rather than drawing them on the face. It’s too much product if you draw it on, and it just gets sticky if you use too much.
Just ordered the highlighting blush online. I love warm pinks and glowy blush so I feel like it’s perfect for me and unlike anything I have. The SA tried it on me in store earlier this week and it was just so pretty on my fair warm skin. He contacted me today to tell me they sold out in store so I should order online. I’m so excited for it! Great comparisons as always

I decided months ago I wanted this and was stalking the site last night and found it and ordered the whole collection, except for the lip balms. I have no idea why this collection called me, and I could not talk myself out of it, even when the US was the last to receive it. Anyway, this is a great and timely review! Can't wait to receive it all...I'm excited to try the Baume Essential. I needed a new highlighting stick so was happy to try this. Thanks so much! I purchased the eye palette and the blush early this morning. Then after watching your video, I went back and bought the Lilas Baume stick. The Dragee was already sold out. The Baume lipsticks didn't really call to me or the Inks. I feel that I can kind of find close shades at lower price point like Glossier. I really enjoyed your video and thank you for the shade comparisons.

Glad that you mentioned about the quantities Chanel produces. I live in Greece and have been purchasing Chanel skincare and makeup for more than 20 years. Unfortunately I am very disappointed to say that they don't even bring all the collections here in Greece. Our Sephora stores have few pieces and mostly past collections and our other big stores maybe a little more but never the new ones. I used to buy from Feelunique UK but since it was bought from Sephora UK they don't ship Chanel to Greece. Neither do Selfridges or other big UK stores. So what happens is I watch all these beautiful videos with the new products that come out so very often and I cannot have any of them. Isn't that unfair? Same with Dior, they don't bring out all products here to us.
I completely agree - it is very unfair and with the way the world runs today, I think it is ridiculous. I hope they and other companies like this change this practice in the future. Transparency about collections and launches would also be much appreciated.
Exactly. I don't get the point on advertising something, not everyone can get their hands on. Let me tell you one more ridiculous thing that happens here. You go and see a Chanel counter full of products not half of them are in their drawers. So because I am friends with the SAs of Chanel I asked why you keep all these testers then. They said cause otherwise the counter would look empty. So you ask for this, they don't have, you ask for that, oh I just sold the last one. How many of these did you have? Two. Two eyeshadows, three blushes, two eyeliners a.s.o. Now how ridiculous is that.
@@caterinaiona6397 Same thing in Australia. During the Tweeds release, my local Chanel boutique filled all the promo stands with an old eye quad. I asked to buy this old quad, but even that was sold out! It is so frustrating to see things released everywhere but here, and even then, we may only get a few items. The excuse of supply chain is getting old. Never seems to be a problem for certain parts of the world that is the luxury target market. 😡
@@kateaye3506 oh the Tweeds I was told were in only one store but it was too much of a journey for me to go see them. Fortunately I went to Paris then and I tried them in person. But any nearby stores didn't have them. Very disappointing situation. If there is a luxury target market for Chanel no problem. There are so many other luxury brands which actually provide a much greater variety of colors and not mainly reds and browns. It is a pity though for us religious Chanel buyers after 20 years to be ignored like that.
Unrelated but I picked up 2 of the new Gucci quads at Selfridges 😅.. Couldn't resist. Hope I'll like them. Decided to instead pass on the new Guerlain as I already have few quads that look similar. But can't resist mini face palettes
Hi Lexi! This is so exciting! I was able to order everything I wanted last night online. I love your video, review and demos. You killed it on the last look. I’m living for that fresh light spring look. Everything screams spring and I’m usually a fall winter girl but these colors are giving me life! It’s amazing how the US was last to receive the collection but I understand why given in the past the Le Blanc collection was never meant for the western markets. But with the changes in makeup preferences and trends updating all the time the desire for softer colors and makeup looks has increased in demand in the US and maybe everywhere. I’ve always appreciated the style of makeup from Japanese and Korean markets and glad it is more accessible here. I really hope like you said that Chanel would be able to make these launches simultaneously so there would be less confusion. I’m sure based on their sales of this collection worldwide that they will be compelled to make the Le Blanc collection more mainstream. 🎉❤thank you for your video as always!!

Lexi, great review on the finally arrived Chanel collection!! I can’t wait to receive the blush and two glow sticks. Great swatch comparisons as usual. I do have the Sisley Orchid blush 3 so I’m not sure how close that is to the Chanel blush (I think you compared it to blush 2). And I never purchased any of the past glow sticks until these two. Something about the pink & lilac that interested me. I really like how you add them on top of another lip color I’ll have to try it. And you nailed the look at the end great job!! 😊🌺

So i was going to pass on the eyeshadow quad, but after long thinking, and evaluating, decided to get it😜😂 i had to pick up also blush , and lavender balm. Although i do have the Sisley one, that i really like as well, but this is Chanel🤪😜 i didnt pick up any lip products, but it might change😂 looking at your demos i like the gourmandis one. But i really loved your last re-created look, and the lipstick that you used. And i loved the stain kind of technique with the brush. Which one would you suggest with this look? And which one is warmer? Here goes my low buying ban on makeup 😱😂 only Chanel can do that 😳🤪 Ps love re created looks. Maybe you should consider to do more videos on that 🙏, like campaign , little bit more editorial, but still wearable looks. I cant get enough of Chanel red look. I just do less red more pinky peachy one, but with red mascara , still has that vibe, but more wearable. And i just watched LE Caribbean island inspired look, with shimmery pearls. I have found that Chanel's recent launches are typically harder to find initially. It's frustrating to be sure! I think any slightly fluffy yet stiff brush will work great with any of the inks. Gourmandise is warmer than Tentation. I think maybe I will try more recreations in the future. It was fun! Thanks so much Giedre and have a great day!

Ok so they are both great but I still slightly prefer the Sisley. Formulas are smooth on both but the sisley just looks slightly more ethereal on the skin imo. I feel like there is a touch of blurring with the Sisley. It really isn't a noticeable difference though so price and availability are probably the best factors to consider.
I like the lavender in Guerlain better personally but the yellow and peach in Chanel. It's kind of a toss up. If you are after lavender and brown, I would go with the Guerlain.
Tbh I don't pay attention to shelf life with my powder products but do with my creme. I was so dissapointed, I picked up a back up foundation and coz it was creme it was off, I could tell by the smell 🙄
Please don’t take this the wrong way but why do people spend so much money on channel eyeshadows? I know people want luxury but if you put those exact same quality shades in a cheaper packaging no one would buy them. Look at the swatches they are dry and patchy, with no color pay off! I could hardly tell you had eyeshadow on. To me buying channel eyeshadow is the story of the emperor’s new clothes. Thank you for doing a review and everyone has different taste.
Chanel has definitely been hit or miss recently. I am starting to feel the same way but I have hope that next year the new team will turn things around. They have some great products in general but they are very inconsistent right now and their launches need to be global.

The SA tried it on me in store earlier this week and it was just so pretty on my fair warm skin. He contacted me today to tell me they sold out in store so I should order online. Hi Lexi, I love this video, i was most intrigued by how you used the highlighter sticks for your lip topper. That blush comparisons were excellent, no more fomo but now i really want to get Surratt barbe a papa, looks really pretty with the shimmer reflecting. I decided months ago I wanted this and was stalking the site last night and found it and ordered the whole collection, except for the lip balms. I have no idea why this collection called me, and I could not talk myself out of it, even when the US was the last to receive it. Anyway, this is a great and timely review! Can't wait to receive it all...I'm excited to try the Baume Essential. I needed a new highlighting stick so was happy to try this. Thanks so much! I purchased the eye palette and the blush early this morning. Then after watching your video, I went back and bought the Lilas Baume stick. The Dragee was already sold out. The Baume lipsticks didn't really call to me or the Inks. I feel that I can kind of find close shades at lower price point like Glossier. I really enjoyed your video and thank you for the shade comparisons.

Glad that you mentioned about the quantities Chanel produces. I live in Greece and have been purchasing Chanel skincare and makeup for more than 20 years. Unfortunately I am very disappointed to say that they don't even bring all the collections here in Greece. Our Sephora stores have few pieces and mostly past collections and our other big stores maybe a little more but never the new ones. I used to buy from Feelunique UK but since it was bought from Sephora UK they don't ship Chanel to Greece. Neither do Selfridges or other big UK stores. So what happens is I watch all these beautiful videos with the new products that come out so very often and I cannot have any of them. Isn't that unfair? Same with Dior, they don't bring out all products here to us.
I completely agree - it is very unfair and with the way the world runs today, I think it is ridiculous. I hope they and other companies like this change this practice in the future. Transparency about collections and launches would also be much appreciated.
Exactly. I don't get the point on advertising something, not everyone can get their hands on. Let me tell you one more ridiculous thing that happens here. You go and see a Chanel counter full of products not half of them are in their drawers. So because I am friends with the SAs of Chanel I asked why you keep all these testers then. They said cause otherwise the counter would look empty. So you ask for this, they don't have, you ask for that, oh I just sold the last one. How many of these did you have? Two. Two eyeshadows, three blushes, two eyeliners a.s.o. Now how ridiculous is that.
@@caterinaiona6397 Same thing in Australia. During the Tweeds release, my local Chanel boutique filled all the promo stands with an old eye quad. I asked to buy this old quad, but even that was sold out! It is so frustrating to see things released everywhere but here, and even then, we may only get a few items. The excuse of supply chain is getting old. Never seems to be a problem for certain parts of the world that is the luxury target market. 😡
@@kateaye3506 oh the Tweeds I was told were in only one store but it was too much of a journey for me to go see them. Fortunately I went to Paris then and I tried them in person. But any nearby stores didn't have them. Very disappointing situation. If there is a luxury target market for Chanel no problem. There are so many other luxury brands which actually provide a much greater variety of colors and not mainly reds and browns. It is a pity though for us religious Chanel buyers after 20 years to be ignored like that.

Hi Lexi! This is so exciting! I was able to order everything I wanted last night online. I love your video, review and demos. You killed it on the last look. I’m living for that fresh light spring look. Everything screams spring and I’m usually a fall winter girl but these colors are giving me life! It’s amazing how the US was last to receive the collection but I understand why given in the past the Le Blanc collection was never meant for the western markets. But with the changes in makeup preferences and trends updating all the time the desire for softer colors and makeup looks has increased in demand in the US and maybe everywhere. I’ve always appreciated the style of makeup from Japanese and Korean markets and glad it is more accessible here. I really hope like you said that Chanel would be able to make these launches simultaneously so there would be less confusion. I’m sure based on their sales of this collection worldwide that they will be compelled to make the Le Blanc collection more mainstream. 🎉❤thank you for your video as always!!

Lexi, great review on the finally arrived Chanel collection!! I can’t wait to receive the blush and two glow sticks. Great swatch comparisons as usual. I do have the Sisley Orchid blush 3 so I’m not sure how close that is to the Chanel blush (I think you compared it to blush 2). And I never purchased any of the past glow sticks until these two. Something about the pink & lilac that interested me. I really like how you add them on top of another lip color I’ll have to try it. And you nailed the look at the end great job!! 😊🌺

Hi Lexi ! It s pretty but I m sure that I can duplicate this eye palette with my surratt eyeshadows palette…the blush is too similar to the previous LE pearl blush from chantecaille imo so its a pass for me 😅

I was stalking Chanel website last night , but i dont know why Chanel made so difficult , to find any of these products, but thanks, to your community post, i got it. So i was going to pass on the eyeshadow quad, but after long thinking, and evaluating, decided to get it😜😂 i had to pick up also blush , and lavender balm. Although i do have the Sisley one, that i really like as well, but this is Chanel🤪😜 i didnt pick up any lip products, but it might change😂 looking at your demos i like the gourmandis one. But i really loved your last re-created look, and the lipstick that you used. And i loved the stain kind of technique with the brush. Which one would you suggest with this look? And which one is warmer? Here goes my low buying ban on makeup 😱😂 only Chanel can do that 😳🤪 Ps love re created looks. Maybe you should consider to do more videos on that 🙏, like campaign , little bit more editorial, but still wearable looks. I cant get enough of Chanel red look. I just do less red more pinky peachy one, but with red mascara , still has that vibe, but more wearable. And i just watched LE Caribbean island inspired look, with shimmery pearls. I have found that Chanel's recent launches are typically harder to find initially. It's frustrating to be sure! I think any slightly fluffy yet stiff brush will work great with any of the inks. Gourmandise is warmer than Tentation. I think maybe I will try more recreations in the future. It was fun! Thanks so much Giedre and have a great day!

It's just very finely milled. It isn't big pieces but there is some shimmer.

I’m debating from the Chanel blush or the Sisley, witch one is more smooth and best formula in your opinion?
Ok so they are both great but I still slightly prefer the Sisley. Formulas are smooth on both but the sisley just looks slightly more ethereal on the skin imo. I feel like there is a touch of blurring with the Sisley. It really isn't a noticeable difference though so price and availability are probably the best factors to consider.
Lexi - this or the guerlain palette? It’s really the lavender and the brown that I’m after.
I like the lavender in Guerlain better personally but the yellow and peach in Chanel. It's kind of a toss up. If you are after lavender and brown, I would go with the Guerlain.

Tbh I don't pay attention to shelf life with my powder products but do with my creme. I was so dissapointed, I picked up a back up foundation and coz it was creme it was off, I could tell by the smell 🙄

Please don’t take this the wrong way but why do people spend so much money on channel eyeshadows? I know people want luxury but if you put those exact same quality shades in a cheaper packaging no one would buy them. Look at the swatches they are dry and patchy, with no color pay off! I could hardly tell you had eyeshadow on. To me buying channel eyeshadow is the story of the emperor’s new clothes. Thank you for doing a review and everyone has different taste.
Chanel has definitely been hit or miss recently. I am starting to feel the same way but I have hope that next year the new team will turn things around. They have some great products in general but they are very inconsistent right now and their launches need to be global.
