Ooohhh this looks so fun! I'm thinking about auditioning for Miami City Ballet, SAB, ABT, Ellison Ballet, or Joffery!!! Ahhh but im so scared I really want to tho
ahh good luck! it was very fun! I got into Joffrey again this year but not sure if i’ll go. Also, no need to be scared, you got this!
Go for it! As a woman older than you (I'd love to have been a dancer, but NO talent, my body rebels with full turn out) if you have that much talent and already put THAT much work into perfecting limber limbs and technique, intimidating as it is if you don't you'll regret it! Look at these budding ballerinas- they eat way too much but are having the time of their life. An opportunity to leave home and experience life. Go for it! Good luck!

Do you really eat macaroni and a pastry or a box of candy?! I studied, briefly, so I have some idea of how arduous you're lives are. Guess you burn off those calories! Any tips on keeping a clear skin- all the heavy stage make up could lead to zits. Those amazing smoothies- Chicago- I live in a boring city in Canada, and mostly associate Chicago with The Blues. Only 1 fish, doesn't she need company?! You are all so pretty, so talented, so fortunate- love Sarah's black and white lounging pants. You appear "ordinary" on the surface BUT a budding ballerina is NOT ordinary! What an architectural banquet Chicago is! How I envy you! The Joffrey! ( facial masks huh? guess you answered Ghirardelli! Merde! May that energy and goofiness and hard work put you centre stage! You don't eat all that junk- are you at the school for a "trial" or have you been accepted- ? Thanks for posting this, it will be my covid vacation. Namaste, Z
Hi! Thank you for your reply and i’m glad you enjoyed the video! To answer some of your questions:
Yes, I actually eat a lot and especially sugary foods since I have a sweet tooth. For my skin, it has improved a lot since this video actually. I started to use gentle face washed with no scent and benzoyl peroxide on small bumps. I didn’t audition for the school/company when I was there but i’d love to join in the future. Thanks again for all of your kind comments and have fun when you visit Chicago!

What level where you guys in at the time.
in the intensive there were 5 levels that were named by colors so we were the second level which is purple. levels are mostly based on age but there still is a placement class.

I wanna audition for the Joffrey ballet in chcago cause it’s close to my house and I want to advance more in ballet but I’m scared and we have money problems (I’m 13, 14 in 2 1/2 months)
you should totally go for it! even if you get in and can’t go, you can learn a lot from the audition experience! There’s also a chance of getting a scholarship! I’ve heard of people getting full scholarships before. You got this!💪🏻
