I would love to see you playing with an ice and fire build for both arena and invasions. Irithyll Straight Sword, Irithyll Rapier or Vordt's Great Hammer for Frostbite and any fire weapon to cancel and restart Frostbite. Rapier on right hand and any other fire weapon on left hand would be great.

I've actually done this before and while you are rather limited on your weapon choice (because of stamina), the sheer amount of health and damage you can achieve with this kind of build is crazy

However, dark weapons do far less damage on hornet ring critical attacks. Therefore, use dark if you tend to not for hornet ring crits, and use chaos if you do tend to go for hornet ring crits.
The evil eye ring heals you even in invasions when the hosts kill pve making regen build even more effective, and the health coming from the dead enemies shows you where the host is too I’ve been really liking it for invasions recently
Whats the problem? It sounds like hitting them will do. Maybe you are talking about parry spamming? If so use kick and guardbreak. If they're only dodging then use roll catches and outplay them by predicting where they will roll and attack. Use faster weapons and sweeping strikes.

Well said. One thing I've learnt from sunbro is DS3 invasions (especially dealing with ganks) is 70% patients 20% camera control 10% skill
