THANK YOU THANK YOU SOMEONE FINALLY SAYS IT WAS THE SAME STORMS THAT CAUSED ALL THIS!! THANK YOU!! I wish we could see a video of the storm track with actual footage of the damage path.
The cell itself was warned all the way from Hominy, (in Osage county), to NW Arkansas. The bad tornado near Claremore seemed like it was on the ground forever and never lifted.
There was one supercell, I think this one, that had velocities I've never seen before and a very well defined hook and it kept cycling, winding down one rotation and spinning up another, usually a bit further east. The storms were crazy last night.
Dude, A storm chaser for Ryan Hall, kid named Bryce, got about 2 seconds shy of this storm killing him in Claremore. Tornado came right up on him and then they were saying it had debris, what, 30k ft up? Is that unusual. I'm a weather nerd, but I don't know a lot of the technicalities.
Be aware & safe. Don't get harmed walking or driving to see your home or neighborhood. The city should block all who are there to see the damage that Don't live there.
This is very similar to what happened in Joplin, Mo. On May 22nd, 2011. My Dad and I drove on hwy 69 from Riverton, KS to Crestline, KS area. We were underneath the storm when it was forming in Kansas and silent into Missouri. It was very scary. This is a huge storm from last night though and so many people will be effected! Sending thoughts to all effected, and to all who make amazing efforts during these terrible storms!
I want to commend you on pointing out a tornado is only when I'm contact with the ground. Too many people use the term "tornado on the ground" which is redundant like saying VIN number. Thank you and keep informing people that if it's not on the ground, its not a tornado but just a funnel cloud.

OMG, that is so very sad….I follow Ryan and his guys that track them….😭
It means that there's a very strong updraft on the supercell. Today they are talking about debris lofted up to 20000 feet
@@JulieBraun-r8eBryce is alive...he missed geyting hit by about a couple of seconds...

750 Tornadoes this year 2024
It’s the end of the world as we know it
It was an incredible, long track.
