it took me 56 summers to know about this great man last week and now am planning to know him more - buying his books and venturing to know about him. Gandhi and Nehru were taught from LKG till my 12th standard, and every year two questions in English, Hindi and Telugu and their answers were to be written by me, and obviously it was Chachaji and Mahatma. I repent now and after visiting Andamans Cell of Sarvarkar only 2 questions come to mind. How did the real heroes of the 1857 - 1900 uprising were sent to oblivion and were the Britishers complicit with the Congress Party in elevating both Nehru and Gandhi for both to co-exist and build a symbiotic relationship that would continue even after India gained independence. It is an eye opener, and i need to now know more about Subhas Chandra Bose. I consider my education incomplete and would start afresh to know about my country independence again.

Oneness of almighty of all religions can be understood after solitude and death of ego , which itself arise out of self indulgence and self centricity. Such a divine know-how, eventhough looks simple, need to be realised by meditating on a chosen field and realising that , it is only a transience not permanent , ever existing is only the divinity , which need to be strived by humanity as early as possible, which is the sole purpose of life of humans. Sri Aurobindo realised it in his days in prison, as it is time to liberate himself .

And look at their tender ages....they were just teenage boys....Kanai Dutta adjusting his hanging rope himself !!!!! What a courage..... What an awe....when I visited Cellular Jail in Andaman standing in front of the memorial marble plaques... It was the same experience... People of present India must know about Sri Aurobindo.... The video relives the life of Sri Aurobindo. It covers only the first half of his life which can be called as "Non yogic life" .The later transformation from a freedom fighter to a yogi and a rishi of the highest order,is not shown.Perhaps it is too difficult to catch the subtle experiences of a great yogi who raised himself up to the level of supramental consciousness. It was to the credit of the mother that his subtle, unseen yogic powers could be brought down to our level and served.I am sure that if a second part of the life of Sri Aurobindo is made, mother will play a pivotal role.
