Wow! You can tell Pete was FEELING that outro jam. Tone was killer and he played so differently to normal. That must be what it’s like to be inspired by the sound of the guitar and amp combo.
I love how whenever Lee is trying to show us some tones, Pete will sneakily start playing a backing track and suddenly they're jamming again! You can really tell hw just loves playing :)
I know im asking the wrong place but does anybody know a tool to get back into an Instagram account??
I was dumb lost the login password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me
@Aaron Dominic Instablaster :)
@Ali Leonardo I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now.
Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Ali Leonardo It worked and I finally got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thank you so much you saved my account :D
@Aaron Dominic no problem xD
Truly some beautiful Amps, only boosted by some really great playing
Cool amps! Especially the Americana, really like that one! Thanks guys
I own a Plexi 18 built by Chris at Rift Amplification. I have several other quality amps but this one is by far my favorite, it gets about 80% of my playing time. I can attest to the build quality and truly amazing tones of these amps, worth every bit of the cost....actually feels like I underpaid. - Very satisfied owner
That intro was so cheeky. Loved it
Lovely Equipment, can not beat old school amps
Jeez, what a tone from the first amp. Plus the outro that Pete played. Wow.
Fantastic amps, both sound awesome
They sound great 👍
I had the pleasure of playing through a Rift amp the other day - amazing 3-dimensional sound.
Shockingly surprised how amazing these amps sounded!
Great outtro guys!
Sound lovely!
Pete's Les Paul is by far the best I've heard and the combination with the amp makes the best sound I've ever heard.
Knaggs into a riff ...,,, enough said ! Perfection
Really nice amps...nice and rich fender tones from the Americana thick and flabby when you want and a high gain squawk when you ride it with the tone boosted. The Blackhawk has some nice crystalline response going on....heaps of headroom with very little breakup at volume.
The 20 Watt 6L6 amp sounds beautiful. Perfect with the Strat.
Sweet little opening riff😍
Good playin’ Captain!
13:30 Pete’s face when Lee says, “I need to know when it starts to get naughty”. 😂
Love the sound of Rift amps, need to save up some cash lol
"Home of Marshall, home of Vox..." [Orange hated that]
Laney close behind Orange ;)
So did Hiwatt
He even says it with an Orange head over his shoulder
That Blackhawk is my kind of amp. Crispy and throaty.
I love guitar
I got the poly version of that red strat and I kinda regret it cause that nitro looks SOO GOOODDDDD

Was looking at these the other day
Okay, okay... stopped at 12:54... Lee!!!! I'm not a LONG time follower, but at least 2 years or so. Man, you have improved! A LOT! I always liked your vibrato and note choice very much. But now you are in a totally different area of guitar playing! I'd like to say "welcome!", but I'm not so sure, regarding myself... ;) Cheers from Germany! Now on to the video... ;)
Jeez, can you all please stop the constant ass kissing in each and every video? Everyone knows by now he improved. And still he‘s farther away from Pete than earth from the moon...
@@bertagriese8282 what's your problem, man? Jealous?
Alan. Turing. You berk Cap'n!! But yeah, it happened at Blethcley back in the day (Marshall Town!!)
That Americana is so rich and creamy. It's like a pre-aged tweed amp.
That Pedal Show had a Young Frankenstein "Frau Blucher" moment yesterday. Dan said Pete's name and Mick went crashing into the guitar equipment.
I'm sure it was funnier to see than explain...
which ep was that in?
@@elbeeuk LIVE Viewer Comments & Questions 26 October 2020 - That Pedal Show I looked for it again but I can't find it. I looked at the previous one in case my fuzzy logic is slipping but not there either.
Love you guys! Incredible tone!
Can you do a comparason of All Marshall-Lines ? Thanks
Have a nice day.
Yes would love to see the Origin, DSL SC20 and SV20 next to each other.
Love the Galaga noises at the end of the jam, ahaha.
Also... Good to hear Danish Pete ripping a dirty fuzz octave tone in the outro. I was weak at the knee. And damp in the undies....;-)
The Americana looks like a 6L6 powered fender tweed deluxe with reverb. I would believe you have to drive it the same, with a combination of both volumes. On a tweed deluxe the channels are wired together so you can bleed some of the volume through the other channels volume pot.
Right now, I am recovering two of my Peavey Delta Blues 1x15s. They will both look a lot like the Americana with the charcoal tweed and oxblood grill cloth. I like it. Thanks for the preview.
I dig that charcoal tweed, looks very nice
That Blackhawk sounded great, I was worried with Pete playing a Les Paul through a VOX style amp it wouldnt be that good (as an AC30 fan most of the time Ive found el84 in cathode biased dont like hums) but it sounded great it has this exploding vintage thing its so cool! Expensive but considering the cost of a vintage ac30 and the other boutiques im not surpised.
did I miss it or did Pete say what Fuzz/overdrive he was using at the end? That's not just the Dane is it? It sounds amazing.
You guys should get some Benson Amps in at Andertons
Could someone tell me what pedal Pete is using in the outrow? What a great tone
Read the title "Pure Old-School Amplifiers Hand-Built in the UK!" so was prepared for the ££££!!! Nice kit mind...
Rift should do a Dumble inspired amp. We dont have any builders in the UK who do them. These two sound killer though
Half hour between classes? Time for an Andertons video!
That Blackhawk is a proper rock n’ roll amp. Doesn’t sound like an AC30 to me though.
New to the guitar game, when I started I was so intimidated by the prices of everything. I didn't think I could get great gear on a budget and I am glad that is not the case. With that said, when I see things like these amps, man it gives me so much motivation to really try and become the best player I can. That way one day I can own something like one of these amps and really be able to get all that I can out of it. Love your videos Andertons Music Co. Thanks for putting out such fun content!
Since you said that you were new to guitar and on a budget I would like to give a little advice.
First, I want to say that right now (really for the last 10 years or so) we are in the best time ever for well made budget priced gear in all categories (instruments, amps, pedals, etc). So enjoy all the options that we have before us.
My advice to you is to NOT fall into the trap of saying I will get (whatever dream piece of gear) as soon as I feel I’m worthy of it. I understand the financial limitations, but as soon as you can afford whatever piece of gear you really want don’t hold yourself back because of your ability as a guitarist. Your dream gear will help you to play better and encourage you to play more. Regardless of price range you are shopping always buy the guitar that speaks to you. It’s like when you met the person you want to marry. You really can’t describe the feeling to someone, but you just know.
A second word of advice don’t go to the other extreme either where you become so obsessed with chasing gear that you don’t spend time playing.
I’ve been playing since the mid 80s and I only had budget priced gear until 5 or 6 years ago because I didn’t think I deserved it, but it really does make a big difference once you start moving out of the budget priced gear into intermediate or higher end gear.
@@charlesbolton8471 thanks for the advice man! I'll definitely remember your words of wisdom in my journey. Keep rocking!
Did yall ever do a demo on that ZT amp that Lee Ranaldo and them came out with?
I am assuming that they are equipped with current production tube sets.
If so, imagine what they might sound like with vintage glass installed in them.
Hiwatt, Orange, Victory, Cornell, Lazy J to name a few more
Two 6L6 in the little one. I like 6L6 voicing.
I knew Pete would get a Tele in his hands before this was said and done😍
Captain don't be afraid to put your soul! You improved your playing but now is time to be more aggressive and less soft !
6:09 - nice.
Pete 🔥
Did anyone notice different routing or sanding at the strat upper horn?
....Laney, Orange.
My Laney is hands down, the best amp I’ve ever owned.
@@ryanboshell6124 What Laney do you have?
@@J00PIE it’s the L5-112 combo. When they were made in Britain.
@@ryanboshell6124 nice, i have hot the 5 watt head. Don't thinks its British though
@@J00PIE one says “Designed and manufactured, with pride, in Great Britain”. Also, the Chinese ones have digital reverb. Not that it affects you, if you have the head, but mine came with a celestion G12, the Chinese ones are the anniversary speakers ( I think).
P.S. I want that bumblebee telecaster.
It would be great to try an American (Montana) made Epiphone Casino through these amps, but where are they? Epiphone presented them at NAMM at the beginning of the year. We're now almost into November and they're yet to appear in the music stores.
I’m not trying to be rude, but we are currently in the middle of a global pandemic. Speaking as an American the pandemic is getting worse for us.
That being said many manufacturers (in all types of industries including musical instruments) are still shutdown or running at a much lower than usual volume. My assumption is that the Epiphone Casino will be made in Nashville with all the other Gibson electric guitars. If that is the case, Nashville is one of the hardest hit (by the pandemic) cities in the Southern USA. I’m not even sure if the Gibson factory is running right now. All of the independent music stores are open by appointment only still, and the big chain stores have practically no inventory.
If the Casino is being made at the Gibson’s Acoustic factory in Montana it is probably in better shape than Nashville, but the pandemic is starting to hit the more rural areas hard now.
@@charlesbolton8471 Good post Charles. You're not being rude at all, and you're almost certainly right in saying that the Casino will be produced in Nashville. Damn it, I should have known that! I visited the Nashville factory in 2004, so I should have guessed that it will certainly be produced there.
The reason I brought this question up is because a few weeks ago, Ben presented the new Epiphone made-in-Montana Texan in a very good review. Towards the end he mentioned that he was looking forward to seeing the forthcoming USA Epiphone Casino. All I was wondering is, if Epiphone have brought the Texan to stores this year, why haven't they done so with the Casino? It just seems odd that if you present a new product at NAMM at the beginning of the year, and it still isn't available by November, then maybe a bit of communication might be in order.
I'm sure everyone would understand if Epiphone explained that Nashville was particularly hit by Covid and it was that which caused the delay, but the absence of communication is difficult to explain.
Yeah, after watching the Synergy demos I can't even get behind ANY new amp that doesn't really offer something in a module or knock off module. I mean Synergy made knock off modules for a bit, I don't see anything ethically incorrect about trying to get into people's platforms by leveraging their form factor - it's just a carrier housing and pluggable connectors. It's also a lot of money (RISK) to start up with a full vertical integration, if you can just build your preamp to interface with several power amps well enough then you don't have to necessarily start right off investing in full cabinet/combo builds. You don't even need to buy tolex at that stage and you can house a lot more units in inventory and your inventory units are more granular.
Yea
that Les Paul 🤤
🤘🏻😁🤘🏻
I guess these aren't for North America, as they probably don't have a switching power supply. They seem to be priced about right for hand made amps. I wouldn't mind adding a Blackhawk head to my stable :-)
Only here for the Jams’n’tones.....anyone else ?
CAPTAIN!!!! Dang the FEEL you had going in that little jam that starts up at about 11:29! The groove you had going was making me move! I've said it before and I'll say it again. The Captain is one of the most UNDERRATED, UNDISCOVERED and UNDERAPPRECIATED Blues Men of our modern day. If you could bottle all these amazing little snippits of the Captains pentatonic genius that is spread across 100's of videos you would have a killer blues album. You may own a music store but YOU ARE a true blues musician my friend.
No idea that he was in Farthinghoe. I live just down the road...
Captain! 11:29!
Looking for a tube amp but these Rift Amps why to expensive for me, they say you cant take money with you when you pop your clogs but I have that I amount if could take it with me
after trying everything, the Warehouse speakers are the cheapest and the best !!
Hey could you guys send me an American professional telecaster?
Im not special or anything infact I can barely play but I just want one bad...
I think Fender have sent out their entire stock to anyone who has a RUclips channel
Sell me the roadworn strat...I beg of you..haha
Let The Peacock Fly...
I'm convinced Pete could make a guitar plugged into a piece of poo sound good (not dissing the amp, Pete is just incredible)
Alan Turing
I don't trust guys that wear jeans that look like that. That good frost look
Peter's amp sounds pukka! That's my kinda tone
14:04 grateful dead
I didn’t hear it
Pleeeeeeeeease sell me that Fender Vintera road worn that Lee is playing - there are none left and the wait will be so long.
Then click the link in the description and buy it then!
@@curiositydivine they are sold out you muppet! That’s my point. Waiting list for next batch will be way long.
Good things come to those who wait you muppet!! 🤣
Damn thoes are tasty amps, it's too bad they are out of my budget. Otherwise awesome amps!
Wayne Fontana related?
Wondering what's going to happen to guys like this - and Andertons for that matter - when the recession kicks in. Doubt as many people will be wanting to drop £2k on an amp in the future.
Peter's amp is screaming Blues please please. 🙏Respect and stay healthy all.
...I’m guessing a 500 year back order...🤦🏼♂️🤠
9th viewer first comment yes
£2200 ($2872 USD) for only one channel, no reverb, no tremolo, no effect loop, only a 2-band EQ, no built-in attenuator ... yeaaaaaaahhhh I'm gonna pass.
These both seem to be loud enough.
Another budget friendly demo, lol.
come on andertons! how could you say fantana and NOT make a sex panther reference? or haven't you seen anchorman ?
So cheap! Send me two, please!
Nothing new under the sun, I would say. You can hear such sounds from another dozens of amp makers.
Well well I'm listening could you give us a few names please ?
@@simoneric8183 Fender for example ?
Don´t like the sound of the Blackhawk.
That is a very Captain Lee kind of an amp. Don't really like the sound on the one Pete's playing through. Too farty for my taste.
