I actually stumbled on the type 66 hoon by accident, was retrieving one of the delamains and as i followed it led me to the warehouse where i see Johnny standing outside the car. I immediately braked and got out to look at the car and was stoked to find out the key was nearby. Of course i lost the delamain vehicle and game bugged to where i couldnt find him so i marked the map and reloaded the game so i can finish the quest and then get my new car!!
Oh yeah exacþ same thing hapoened to me Is funny because i never bought a car after getting it and the capitan sends you messages begging you to buy a car xD

Jackie's Tuned Arch has twice as many exhaust pipes as the regular Jackie's Arch so they aren't exactly the same, according to the wiki it also has 15 extra horsepower
They both do 153. So Does the tuned one get to 153 quicker? I need to do some thorough testing. I never checked the acceleration, just the top speed. Oversight on my part.
Scanning it does show that the tuned arch has 185 horsepower and 666 curb weight while the untuned version has 170 horsepower and 661 curb weight Don't know if these stats are anything but cosmetic tho

I think the red Coyote has been renamed Shion Bonewrecker now. I have a modded save that had both Coyote variants, and the red one has become Bonewrecker. It's slower than the Coyote and doesn't have the huge rear wing on it anymore.

The tuned arch can also be acquired if you start a new save at phantom liberty. This at least occurred for me starting as a street kid and it was automatically in your obtained vehicles alongside the delamain.
Yeah that happened to me starting Copo also, makes no sense why seeing how you can't get it normally with those characters...but they did make some easter egg changes if you skip prologue, like when you try to order Jackies drink at the Afterlife, V get's the mix wrong and Claire corrects them (because you basically skipped his story, so you don't know him well).

My first play on the DLC was borked, so couldn't get a lot of the cars... However, I was saddened that they didn't give Del guns. He supposedly has a combat mode... Me want guns.

I took the (at the time) gamble and preordered phantom liberty the day it was up for preordering. Now I get a decent car for free on every new character I make and you get it right after the Sandra Dorset mission so it’s incredibly early and handy 👍
Easiest way to find the Hoon? First, start the Delamain quest. Second, go to Tom's Diner and chose either the Judy or Panam questlines. Third, drive up toward the northwest side of Watson, where you'll find one of the missing Delamains. You'll be in an industrial area with a number of warehouses that are open and you can drive into. Just drive around inside them until you find the car. Can't find the keys? While facing the driver's side door, look to the right. There's a pile of material; the key is under the largest piece, in a box

To get the Quadra Hoon, you have to be in Act 2 and have finished the mission to talk with Takamura at Tom's Diner. It will not spawn before that is done.
Jackie's Tunes arch does actually look and sound different. The exaust is modified with a different appearance and the exhaust note is different, much quieter which is exactly what you told him to do. So it isn't exactly the same.😊
the bandit is hands down my favourite car, its got that perfect mix of mobility, not a whole bunch of horsepower thatll inevitebly throw you into a wall or a pedestrian and man... the offroading is like drifting on butter / favourite bike would be jackies tuned bike
I believe Jackie’s tuned arch has slightly better acceleration (only like 0.4 or 0.6 seconds faster on the 0 to 60) and I think 7 mph faster top end. The difference is negligible in game but in the motor’ed scene those types of things can be a bigger deal. That also fits for nomad V too
My fav 3 cars in the game period are Mercmobile, the wheeler, and hoon for sure and they are all free. I use the two armoured weponized ones for terror and the caliburn to escape haha
These are awesome cars. Hoon for Fun, Cali for speed, and the Weiler for when you absolutely positively have to obliterate every mutha on the road, in comfort and style.
With Caliburn you also get the formerly iconic white sleeveless shirt, which considering its next to a sports car, in a smuggler tunnels, looks to be Dom Toretto's shirt a Fast n Furious 4 (i think) ester?!
I've now just made a conscious decision to get every Quadra Type-66 I can. 1. Because I love their mix of wasteland, classic and high-end variants and 2. Because I can't drive them for crap and often total it so I need to get my back-up Quadra
I love how those cars look, and I love how they drive. Only thing that keeps me from using them is that I love FPP driving, and they're the WORST cockpits in the game. 😢
Man, I want to love the black caliburn so much, but it just loves to just get stuck in whatever lamppost or guardrail I "accidently" speed into :) But man does it look sinister and cool in all black/dark green!
Fyi the colby brute bug is tied to doing the ghost town quest just make sure to go get it before ever metting panam and you'll be fine this has been a thing since the early versions pretty sure its even mentioned in a day1 guide book I got from my local game store

Every time I start a new play through, I don’t get something i get in the previous play through. This one I’m doing now, I don’t get the Ken Block car and this is after I started in Dog Town.
Man, not one but two vehicles for basically betraying Panam (and Claire for that matter), someone must really dislike her to implement a reward for such. I refuse. What's next? Some super desirable item like the netrunner Shion Coyote blackwall infused or Netwatch van from VDB for ruining relationship with Judy? killing her and Evelyn? Get both! THAT's one would be the one no one would have! Yours and SamBram are the two channels I prefer to go for all my CP deets. Great lineup, always preem videos. Betraying Panam means you can't get Widow Maker, can't have her as an option for the Arasaka attack, and if you're a male V can't romance her. Both of the cars are purchasable, so why bother pissing the girl off?
Yeah I totally noticed this trend! Someone at CDPR really wanted to make her the most betrayable character. And neither of the cars compares to what you miss out on if you stick with her.
The Cthullu is bugged. I have 4 playtrhoughs where i save him and waited more than 2 weeks without getting the car. When i dont save him, the car is available for purchase in a day.
Yeah I pre ordered the dlc and I still haven’t gotten the car and it didn’t even give the prompt that I got it and I have the car add on installed. I love the Cthulhu car and I’m glad we can still get it free
i think you got that thing about the porsche wrong, i felt it more like V told that story because he needed something that fited the description of the character he was playing, so he invented the story on the fly with an old classic car that he owned.... or at least that's how i felt it in that moment

A lot of vehicles I’ve ran into since the update don’t be where they’re supposed to be. I had to restart my game 6 times before the Quadra Charon finally showed up

I really hope they add vehicle customization to the game. I’d like to change the color of my cars and bikes. I also notice some npcs drive cars with lights underneath them and I’d really like to add them to my cars.
Has anybody ever got their solo up to 55 the best way to do it is with the gorilla arms or a ball bat or any blunt weapon and if you have 15 and strength you unlock a park that allows you to access adrenaline rush when using a Health item and if you have solo up to 55 you can have permanent adrenaline rush I’m not joking my character has permanent, adrenaline rush I play on Consol you get a speed bonus and 10% damage bonus to if you have certain parks on lock to go with the adrenaline rush, which means I have that all the time and once you have your body up to 15 and you’re level 60 you heal up almost as fast as lesser enemies do damage to you
Oh, and if you’re looking to bring your solo shinobi, or any type of skill up real fast there is a bar in Haywood called the El Coyote Cojo and there’s a bunch of Valentinos that spawn right behind it and all around it just use your skill on the Valentinos. Whatever you’re trying to boost up which triggers conflict a fight, of course but after you’re done, you’ll get EXP for it go back into the bar talk to Pepe or Momma Wells leave the bar and all of those Valentinos should be respond back in
Plus, the last time I checked, netrunner and shinobi can be boosted up really fast by fighting the NCPD tried it was solo and it only gave me very low XP. I’m not sure if that’s a bug or they just fix the whole thing but I do know that the bar things still works because I’m using it right now.
@@handsomeTez yeah, lol. I literally just drive whatever I'm in the mood for, unless I know I'm going to be specifically racing or entering heavy combat. Plus you notice some things, like a lot of vehicles will have a secondary light or other affect you can turn on than just the regular headlights. A lot of vehicles, even the ones that look factory boring, have secondary options you never would have known about if you never drove it for more than a minute.
TED! Question? If you start a new game and skip to phantom liberty you start at level 15 and 17,000 Eddie's. That's the two setup missions and the hiest plus the voodoo boys quest and for some strange reason both delamain missions. Here's the question. Does all of that add up to level 15 and 17,000 Eddie's? On normal difficultly...3 hours 22 mins later....I just left clouds at level 15 with 34,706 Eddie's.

Firstly, thank you! :D As for my dear Cali, I used to consider the Cali number 1 but I Love the handling of the Hoon, it's a low-speed gymkhana king, so easy to get sideways and control. At high speeds, not so much. Also, you don't have to agree, I don't demand that. But there's nothing to disagree with, this is just in order of my preference (favorite), nothing too specific or scientific :D But yeah for me, the Cali has been dethroned. (I'm also slightly bias, was a huge Ken Block fan).
You're right. and more horsepower on paper. Just wish it translatd to noticable performance. but as HP is acceleration and not top speed it's hard to guage. But yeah I need to update this video
You have to drive it with an enormous amount of respect. Bury the throttle? Take corners too fast? Go full speed cross country? The Hoon will bite you. It's a rally car, designed to change direction rapidly, with lots of torque to get off the line. Drive it with a huge amount of restraint and respect, and it's fine
I'm trying to find out how many vehicles one can obtain in the game. I have 50 purchased vehicles and 21 'free' vehicles making my total 71 total vehicles. Online I can only find lists with 54-68. Do I have vehicles others don't have? Do others have vehicles I don't have? I got some vehicles from Reyes for free that you don't even have in your video such as the Riptide "Terrier".
I understand your confusion. This is only the free vehicles, and if you look at the publish date it's prior to 2.1, so it's missing the cabriolet Porsche. As for the Riptide, you are mistaken this isn't free, you might have obtained it free with 100% autofixer discount but it isn't the freebie one you get from El Cap, you're confusing it with the weaponized outlaw he gives you. The terrier is unlocked by doing vehicle missions but it is still purchased. Hope that clears up your confusion.
Okay, so, I love this game.. but the handling for most vehicles are total crap! I'm gonna explain this the best I can - when driving many cars in the game, when turning, it feels like you're controlling an invisible sphere that's located in the direct middle of that vehicle. It doesn't feel like the front tires are in control of turning but instead feel like the car is turning from the middle on a sphere. It sucks because there's so many badass rides in this game, just for them to have horrible handling 😕
I see what you're saying, and kinda agree, but then again, when you look at the fact it's an RPG and in The Witcher we just had Roach. It's a huge step up. :D

That one is dependant on what choices you make in Claire's questline.. (on the save I shafted Claire and actually won the big race I have that missing street creed requirements issue if I wanna buy it from El Cap and she refuses to serve me at the Afterlife ..hell, she wasn't even around for the Johnny Rogue ending iirc lmaosmh.. vindictive that one)
Is the Hoon n Wingnut the same car? Because I already had the Hoon, then tried to buy the type 66 Wingnut, but nothing was added to my car menu. So do they consider them the same. If so why doesn't it say, already owned?
For Demiurge you don't need to do anything all videos in RUclips instruct you to do. All you need to know where the matras is and that's all. Arcade doesn't matter, game time doesn't matter, reading a ton of guides doesn't matter. You just find matras, stand on it for 3-5 real minutes and get this vehicle.
@@A2theC then why did the quadra type 66 get a speed boost in the same patch ? its like they swapped the speed between the two types of cars all because in a previous patch more people liked the javelina over the coyote. so they swapped the prices between the two. now to make that price swap make sense they have swapped the speed between the two aswell even though the shion looks like it would win in a race with no contest. but if you find some random shion in the world it has it's old speed. it is only yours that have been nerfed. i would say its developer spite more than anything.
Excellent handling cars, like the wraith archers - wish we could permanently get one of those. Also the only reason the red one is so far down on the list is because of what it takes to get it. #teampanam

Every single vehicle has the ass end spin out on turns. Im going to rewatch this video very closely to what you are doing maybe I can see what I might be doing wrong. I hope so would LOVE to find out its me so I can drive better. I have over 1k hours on this game and love it. Just hate the driving

the wiki is lying. in the game code Jackie's Arch and Jackie's Tuned Arch have IDENTICAL stats. the only difference is visual.

Betraying Panam means you can't get Widow Maker, can't have her as an option for the Arasaka attack, and if you're a male V can't romance her. Both of the cars are purchasable, so why bother pissing the girl off?
Yeah I totally noticed this trend! Someone at CDPR really wanted to make her the most betrayable character. And neither of the cars compares to what you miss out on if you stick with her.

The Cthullu is bugged. I have 4 playtrhoughs where i save him and waited more than 2 weeks without getting the car. When i dont save him, the car is available for purchase in a day.

Yeah I pre ordered the dlc and I still haven’t gotten the car and it didn’t even give the prompt that I got it and I have the car add on installed. I love the Cthulhu car and I’m glad we can still get it free

i think you got that thing about the porsche wrong, i felt it more like V told that story because he needed something that fited the description of the character he was playing, so he invented the story on the fly with an old classic car that he owned.... or at least that's how i felt it in that moment

I really hope they add vehicle customization to the game. I’d like to change the color of my cars and bikes. I also notice some npcs drive cars with lights underneath them and I’d really like to add them to my cars.

Has anybody ever got their solo up to 55 the best way to do it is with the gorilla arms or a ball bat or any blunt weapon and if you have 15 and strength you unlock a park that allows you to access adrenaline rush when using a Health item and if you have solo up to 55 you can have permanent adrenaline rush I’m not joking my character has permanent, adrenaline rush I play on Consol you get a speed bonus and 10% damage bonus to if you have certain parks on lock to go with the adrenaline rush, which means I have that all the time and once you have your body up to 15 and you’re level 60 you heal up almost as fast as lesser enemies do damage to you
End it doesn’t go away even if you get hit by enemies it doesn’t decay at all
Oh, and if you’re looking to bring your solo shinobi, or any type of skill up real fast there is a bar in Haywood called the El Coyote Cojo and there’s a bunch of Valentinos that spawn right behind it and all around it just use your skill on the Valentinos. Whatever you’re trying to boost up which triggers conflict a fight, of course but after you’re done, you’ll get EXP for it go back into the bar talk to Pepe or Momma Wells leave the bar and all of those Valentinos should be respond back in
Plus, the last time I checked, netrunner and shinobi can be boosted up really fast by fighting the NCPD tried it was solo and it only gave me very low XP. I’m not sure if that’s a bug or they just fix the whole thing but I do know that the bar things still works because I’m using it right now.

@@handsomeTez yeah, lol. I literally just drive whatever I'm in the mood for, unless I know I'm going to be specifically racing or entering heavy combat. Plus you notice some things, like a lot of vehicles will have a secondary light or other affect you can turn on than just the regular headlights. A lot of vehicles, even the ones that look factory boring, have secondary options you never would have known about if you never drove it for more than a minute.
TED! Question? If you start a new game and skip to phantom liberty you start at level 15 and 17,000 Eddie's. That's the two setup missions and the hiest plus the voodoo boys quest and for some strange reason both delamain missions. Here's the question. Does all of that add up to level 15 and 17,000 Eddie's? On normal difficultly...3 hours 22 mins later....I just left clouds at level 15 with 34,706 Eddie's.

I started a new game on normal, 3 hours 22 mins I've completed Delamains cars and I've just left clouds at level 15 and 34,706 Eddie's plus an iguana egg.

Firstly, thank you! :D As for my dear Cali, I used to consider the Cali number 1 but I Love the handling of the Hoon, it's a low-speed gymkhana king, so easy to get sideways and control. At high speeds, not so much. Also, you don't have to agree, I don't demand that. But there's nothing to disagree with, this is just in order of my preference (favorite), nothing too specific or scientific :D But yeah for me, the Cali has been dethroned. (I'm also slightly bias, was a huge Ken Block fan).

You have to drive it with an enormous amount of respect. Bury the throttle? Take corners too fast? Go full speed cross country? The Hoon will bite you. It's a rally car, designed to change direction rapidly, with lots of torque to get off the line. Drive it with a huge amount of restraint and respect, and it's fine

I'm trying to find out how many vehicles one can obtain in the game. I have 50 purchased vehicles and 21 'free' vehicles making my total 71 total vehicles. Online I can only find lists with 54-68. Do I have vehicles others don't have? Do others have vehicles I don't have?
I got some vehicles from Reyes for free that you don't even have in your video such as the Riptide "Terrier".
I understand your confusion. This is only the free vehicles, and if you look at the publish date it's prior to 2.1, so it's missing the cabriolet Porsche. As for the Riptide, you are mistaken this isn't free, you might have obtained it free with 100% autofixer discount but it isn't the freebie one you get from El Cap, you're confusing it with the weaponized outlaw he gives you. The terrier is unlocked by doing vehicle missions but it is still purchased. Hope that clears up your confusion.

Okay, so, I love this game.. but the handling for most vehicles are total crap!
I'm gonna explain this the best I can - when driving many cars in the game, when turning, it feels like you're controlling an invisible sphere that's located in the direct middle of that vehicle. It doesn't feel like the front tires are in control of turning but instead feel like the car is turning from the middle on a sphere.
It sucks because there's so many badass rides in this game, just for them to have horrible handling 😕
I do love the cars in this game but i feel like there were too many variants for certain cars. More variety was needed

That one is dependant on what choices you make in Claire's questline.. (on the save I shafted Claire and actually won the big race I have that missing street creed requirements issue if I wanna buy it from El Cap and she refuses to serve me at the Afterlife ..hell, she wasn't even around for the Johnny Rogue ending iirc lmaosmh.. vindictive that one)
Some cars aren't available until you've done a certain number of car heists. The Bulldog, for instance, wouldn't unlock until I had enough jobs
It's probably been tied to el cap's vehicle heists now, like @arthurford said. Try doing a few more to see if it unlocks.

I only use it between when Delamain wrecks my car and I get Jackie's bike. Otherwise, it's in the garage

Is the Hoon n Wingnut the same car? Because I already had the Hoon, then tried to buy the type 66 Wingnut, but nothing was added to my car menu. So do they consider them the same. If so why doesn't it say, already owned?
No, they're 2 different cars, the Wingate is the Nomad one you can buy IIRC.
For Demiurge you don't need to do anything all videos in RUclips instruct you to do. All you need to know where the matras is and that's all. Arcade doesn't matter, game time doesn't matter, reading a ton of guides doesn't matter. You just find matras, stand on it for 3-5 real minutes and get this vehicle.

it really sucks that they nerfed the shions. they used to be some of the fastest cars, now they are just slow in comparison.
Extra weight of those cool machine guns (and missile launchers) slowing them down, I'd say a decent trade.
@@A2theC then why did the quadra type 66 get a speed boost in the same patch ? its like they swapped the speed between the two types of cars all because in a previous patch more people liked the javelina over the coyote. so they swapped the prices between the two. now to make that price swap make sense they have swapped the speed between the two aswell even though the shion looks like it would win in a race with no contest. but if you find some random shion in the world it has it's old speed. it is only yours that have been nerfed. i would say its developer spite more than anything.

Every single vehicle has the ass end spin out on turns. Im going to rewatch this video very closely to what you are doing maybe I can see what I might be doing wrong. I hope so would LOVE to find out its me so I can drive better. I have over 1k hours on this game and love it. Just hate the driving
