Hi Bro. Amazing work once again. If I segregate the video into 3 parts, the first 20 minutes were boring with only station arrival and departure information. The next 20 minutes was very nice keeping in sync with the nature and speed. The final part regarding the Loco failure ( seen earlier in a separate vlog ) was unique. Thankfully the WAP4 was there to rescue it, otherwise GOD knows how much more time and effort would've been required to perform the rescue operation.
Amazing unique video. The WDP-4Ds seem to be failing quite often. It seemed to be a brand new and shiny Pune WDP-4D. With fumes coming out the ALP must be really scared but compelled to perform his duty.

Pity part is even though it starts from chennai central, nowhere in this and some of other trains, boards are in Tamil. Only in Hindi, English the express name boards are there. Same also in 8.10pm mangalore super fast. Name boards are in English, malayalam, kannada and Hindi. But no where in Tamil. After this covid from last year onwards, in many trains Tamil boards were removed.
This is a CR rake, and it is a SPL train. The train was originally from Dadar and recently moved to LTT. It had Tamil boards when it was leaving from Dadar, so please give time for things to become normal before coming to conclusions

I have travelled a lot of times from chennai to solapur...and every time the wap-4 loco is replaced by a diesel loco at Guntakal.. then why did it didn't replace in this one at Guntakal itself?

Technically the third and fourth platform from mosur if they somehow make that as a main track to join pf 1 and 2 of arakkonam that would be the best so that can make express train skip ajj at mps , and 1 and 2 emu tracks from puliyamangalam should join with 1A platform at ajj , this would likely solve the alignment issue . 4 and 5 pfs at ajj can be made as mainline from trt and can make them to join track 3 and 4 of mosur and all emus starting from trt can be made as a fast local till tiruvallur , this will help in following the track system like virar station and can make express do mps

Is the train from Cuddapah to Vizag (at Renigunta) taking a different route from the main route? Or is it back-tracking on the Tirupathi to Renigunta section in each way? Both trains were arriving in the same direction, so I am assuming this train touches Renigunta twice in each trip?
I wish to know more about India's plans to fully electrify all of its transit and railroad lines. This is paramount...Diesel Engines are way too polluting with regards to the environment; and in this world of ours - antiquated and way out of the realm of intelligent planning. The future is now ! 😊
Hi Joshua Taking into consideration how many of our trains that run on diesel across country in the us, I’ve actually seen that almost 50% of India’s lines are electrified and som 37-38 are dual lines. How many lines do the us have in this large scale as the Indian network is, that is pure electrical? India and Europe are way ahead of the us by a mile

On the other hand, Indian Railways spans a total route length of 43,000 miles, of which around 32,000 miles of route is electrified. The push behind such levels of network electrification is that India has to import almost all of its crude oil, which makes running massive operations on diesel more expensive. So, by electrification, there is a possibility that the source of motive power could be shifted from expensive and imported diesel to locally available coal (for the short term), and makes it more easier to run operations by clean energy sources like solar or wind. For the US, oil is locally available in plenty, and the lack of catenary makes it easy for freight operators to operate their freight in tall wagons or by double stacking. India is trying to incorporate raised catenary for double stacking freight, but it is only feasible for newer freight corridors, and that too at reduced speeds (for passenger services). Secondly, operating diesel locomotives allows the freight locos in the US to have insane tractive efforts for pulling gigantic freight trains. The diesel loco fleet in India was purely developed from technology transfer of diesel locos of the US companies (ALCO, EMD, and GE), which is saying something.
