this is a polite version of clarkson, may, and hammond
This is the BBC friendly version
LeoMessiHD3 they are proper brits
Plus they know how to drive and dont need cut aways to someone else sliding the car lol
Hammond would have crashed and destroyed the car within 2 corners 😒
@@Thehipsterplantman he would have already flew up by clipping the other's wheels
Jenson: Do you think copse is flat?
Martin: Do you like hospital food?
🤣🤣🤣
Another classic brundle zinger
tbf jenson is the youngest and the most recent to drive an f1 car so understandably he's the ballsiest lmao
@@-AndezaPulungan he had an f1 career in the time where cars have so much downforce so yeah, definitely big balls 🤣
Timestamp?

"Rest in Peace Sterling my friend, you've earned it."
Beautiful words from Martin at the end.
"Do you think copse is flat"
"Yeah, for you, once...
You do like hospital food?"
Legend 😂😭
once haha
once*
@@saltbjorn 😂 thanks
@@7236399 yup... I do that all the time... Thanks
They're driving driving
Jimmy Butler approves!
THERE GOING TOO FAST!
@@w.knights_aviation No Sir. Not Mr. Jenson Button.
Jimmy Butler is the NBA basketball player who had the fortune (or misfortune?) of sitting in a car while Lando did a hot lap around the track.
Let's just say Jimmy Buckets was NOT prepared for the hot lap. At all. That was the birth of "Oh...you drivin' DRIVIN'" in which Lando has taken on.
@@w.knights_aviation That video is well worth the watch! Hilarious!
@@w.knights_aviation 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🙈😂😂😂😂
What a beautiful tribute to the king who was never crowned
Sir Stirling Moss is without a doubt one of the all time greatest drivers and one of the greatest sporting personalities the world will ever see he truly lived up to his nickname Mr motor racing over the many years of success and incredible drives
He would have been so proud and so honored to know just how many people still love and idolize him I certainly do and that will never change
Race In Peace Mr Motor Racing 🏎 🏁 🏆
Greatest to never win it.
Beautiful! This should have lasted way more than 5 and a half minutes though.
Yeah, a really nice feel good F1 story.
Couldn't agree more, I wish this had been an hour long documentary.
Quality cars. God them steering wheels look out of place now hehe
Jonathan Bateman You’re right, but the reason they were so big is because there was no power steering back then and to get any kind of leverage they had to make a large diameter steering wheel.
Dunno what you mean, don’t look out of place at all
We didn’t get much tv coverage of motorsport back in 1960, so I was captivated watching Stirling Moss win the Monaco GP, beating the strong favourites, the shark nose Ferrari’s. This sparked my interest in motorsport and Lotus, also my 10th birthday present - a Scalextric set with Lotus and Cooper F3 Cars. Thanks Stirling!
I like this history race Stiring Moss vintage F1 Cars and Jenson is very interesting.
This is a rare opportunity when a recent f1 driver can really feel what has been gained but also what has probably been lost on the way. This would be even more true if they had tested 1967 cars - just before the introduction of wings.
Five place grid penalty for Jensen, Johnny and Martin. “Just having to much fun!”
RIP Sir Sterling Moss

These cars are part of what made him a legend...
It's funny how we can watch history being made, play it back and experience parts of it all over again.
I wonder if they appreciate that just like I am now watching it.
Button:"i was scared"
Others: wooo! What an experience driving these cars...
Because he was the only one pushing it.
Love seeing more of Jenson Button, class guy
I like all the cars from 1952 & 1962 ,1972 that Stirling Moss was take round the track.
Great little video from 3 great British drivers paying homage to a true legend. ❤️
Love seeing Jenson in these things he was the one driver I wished would never retire.
Three guys driving three great cars. One of Sky F1's best moments.
"Here comes Johnny!" 3:44
Was waiting for this to be posted since it aired prior to the GP. What a segment and beautiful cars. Thank you, Sir Moss.
I love how Martin and Johnny have an open face helmet with goggles and Jenson was just like nope, full face helmet, black visor bad ass 😂
probably they brought their own helmets.
What absolutely beautiful cars. Sir Sterling Moss is a legend through and through.
Great images, even greater sounds ...
The grin on Martin's face as he ambushes Johnny @ 2:48 is priceless!
True driving skills were tested by these cars, raw, no shenanigan cars. This should be F1
f1 should be exactly what it is now...f1 cars were always the pinnacle of automoto engineering, it was like that in 1960 and its like that today
Denis Liber imagine people in 1960. „In my time we raced on horses. This should be racing not those motorised metall buckets“
@@philipschmitd6854 im watching f1 from 1995, my favourite time was from 1998-2000, schumi hakkinen battle, but as a f1 fan i get the sport is going forward, true driving skills are tested today just like 20 years ago and just like 70 years ago, anyone who thinks todays f1 cars are easy to drive is seriously deluded...
the best bathtubs in the world. 1960's drivers had massive balls.
So so cool! To be able to hustle any of those cars around Silverstone would be a dream fulfilled. ❤
That was incredibly nostalgic seeing Jenson helmet on again
I could watch this all day long - lovely!
SUPERB ! Well done gentlemen.! A fitting "tribute" to Sir Stirling.
Absolutely Beautiful. Thank you 😊
Those cars looked unreal man, feels like watching an in-game footage...
Really great this video! Can we think that there will be this kind of image in your documentary "Race to Perfection" broadcast in September?
Love you Sterling.... Thanks for the memories... ♥️
This is a treat!
Really like that British Racing Green helmet with Brundle's distinctive pattern.
"Who do you think you are? Stirling Moss?"
Great video this one, good stuff!
Superb watch, I'm very jealous!
Beautiful cars
I like they actually gave it some wellie
UDT - Laystall Lotus . I once heard the track commentator (who was always brilliant) at Crystal Palace, describe either that car or another team car just like it - being driven by Innes Ireland - as; "The United Dairies Team, in British Grazing Green."
Lovely feature...and the best part? These cars and others like them still race in historic events. Get yourselves to a HSCC, HGPDA or Masters Historic Racing event and enjoy!
I love the oversteer that thes car have.👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
How fantastic is this.
Martin looks like he still want to whoop some arses ... Great run oldtimers and Jenson... I wouldn't put any money on You :)
Crazy that Martin has now driven 61 different F1 cars! Some record surely?
Herbert is such a legend
It must’ve been a huge honor to drive these three f1 steeds of the late Stirling Moss.
I can think of nothing better than the honor of driving one of those cars I envy you guys
these cars seem so fun to drive but so dangerous at the same time.
The sound isn't as amazing as I would've expected. Sounds pretty much like a 4 cylinder
They didn't mic the exhaust...
Stirling raced these dangerous cars in a t shirt, man what a freaking legend.
Im so glad JB is in the sky F1 team
This felt like old top gear and I enjoyed it
Description is wrong - Moss was first British winner of the British GP - but at Aintree. First Brit at Silverstone is Peter Collins. Great video though.
1:53 *Do you think Copse is Flat - Do you like Hospital Food !*
What a privilege it must be to drive one of these iconic cars!
damn would have loved to have Stirling moss in this video rip you legend
Legendary
Ah yes, Johnny Hebert, the best Sky Sports presenters.
ooh yes stunning cars .. i'd be the same as Martin , hanging back just so i could see the other 2 cars in front of me
Imagine one of those, a little bit bigger with 2 seats in front, electric power and a panoramic roof like a military airplane
so early that no Red Mercedes jokes are yet made
They are never made
Nostalgia
Vettel: Let me have a spin. All: 😳
beautiful cards.. plain and simple.. no driver aid.. the true sports..
03:48 so, is this the first version of this question? I already heard it this year. (from Sir Jackie)
They're drivin drivin
My hero im related to Stirling moss
This was great! But I wanted a bit more stats of the engine's and weight of the cars and so on...
...edit
Googled it a bit and the 18 was about 240 hp output. Amazing stuff! I did drive a Formula 1600 (older 80's-90's variant) and if I remember it had about 140-150 HP and it was really quick. This must have been amazing at the time!
Epic, just Epic...
They all did a sterling job wow
Once a racer always a racer
Best tribute thank you men, so sad Stirling clocked off during this Covid lockdown bollox, a living legend who really deserved the full media send off. Rest in peace Stirling Moss a brave man.
R.I.P Stirling Moss
Love this♥️ 🤗🤗🤗
grand tour/top gear vibes
That’s nuts, the roll bar didn’t even cover jensons head!
music over the engine sounds?
How can you dislike this? For real wtf is wrong with this amazing video?
I have stood next to these cars. Fangio's car Moss's car and john Surtees's car. I couldn't believe it. I just walked in and there they were. I only went there to pick up a compressor and there they were. I almost fainted, I couldn't belive it
Buttons helmet compared the rest
At least they had harnesses in the old cars that the three drove
Seb will definitely spin in those cars
Sounds way better than the actual F1 cars
Not just a great driver but he was a bit of a character as well.
Fortune favours the few...
but I can think of none better to share in this than those who in times past entertained us with their exploits of speed.
classic
RIP
Quick! Somebody queue up Jessica from the Allman Brothers Band
Better than actual F1
Glad that they look like they’re actually pushing the cars rather than just cruising them 😁
Lol.....get yourself to a historic race meeting....you’ll see them pushed properly!
Adam Crossfire Doesn’t sound like a bad idea 😂😅
It’s amazing to thing those cars are not much faster than a family hatchback nowadays, wonder what speed regular cars will get to in 70 years time?
Take a shot every time someone says Sir Stirling Moss.
Martin brundle is by far the best announcer on sky sports. Instead of announcing from various corners around the track Martin should be in the studio replacing that motor mouth x driver that can't even pronounce his r's. please do this soon as my mute button is getting worn out.
All the brits getting off on that NATIONALISM
Ah yes, its REWIND time
