The universe will shed a tear the day he'll have a ring on his finger.
I dont disagree with that, but when will that happen? Knicks aint going the finals anytime soon
@@TheTony024 he’s saying that he will join a contender
it's better for D-Rose to be an all star again in the middle pack team, than win an championship as a role player.
Wait he's not married?
@@someshsaharan5813 ahahahah no championship ring
We will always remember that 50 point game .
True
@Ghost-Thoughts* really , did you watch it ? It was a Halloween game , he was on one. I had Jersey purchasing thoughts.
Yes
Real rose fans remember rose vs the Celtics 09 made us al fall in love !!!!!!!
On bloods
Every time I see clips of Prime D-Rose, I just want to cry.
Same bro
Its just like when I watch Kobe highlights it's so sad.
He never reached his prime . We never got see his peak he was only 22 injuries didn’t let us see his peak
I laugh especially when I see comments like this
@@mokushmasmo6009 maybe you don't have emotional
If D-Rose never got hurt he would definitely won championship rings
He would be top 10 all-time no 🧢
@@maurakoq3492 Wasn’t even his full prime if you think about it
Idk about that the warriors between 2014 and 2019
If was healthy and never injured he would of ran through the warriors
@@shemarwhite-scott862 so he will run threw curry,Thompson,Durant and green i dont think so
Derrick Rose never had a prime in my opinion and that says something about his talent.
For sure, most people call his “prime” the mvp rose but that’s prolly not even close
He was an athletic freak but he was not the methodical floor general Chris Paul was and still is. He was never destined to have a long prime.
@@chetubetcha1563 Exactly he still had a lot of things to improve at that point in time.
@@realniggashit3 Yea he ain't no cp3 but he could've developed into a good playmaker at least i think if he truly wants to.
I agree he didn't reach his prime yet he was still growing
Imagine if LeBron had teamed up with drose in 2010 instead of going to Miami
Depending on how long the deal was going to beI think we would have eight or nine championships instead of six
@@Redfirewolf23 yeah that could have happened
He probably wouldn't have accomplished much for his own career
Realistically speaking, I was thinking of 4 rings in 6-7 years. They could make moves to gather more pieces too because of how attractive the 2 star players would look together
Lowkey rose wouldnt have that many injuries cause he had bron
They say “Prime” but he was just getting started, imagine how he would’ve been when he progressed even more
i swear u cant use the word prime to define what he Accomplished in only his third season🌹🐐
imagine high efficiency and more matured current rose but with the same explosiveness... what a great "if"
I mean prime is basically another way of saying peak
@@owethunala2632 yeah and they’re saying that him barely even starting his career was his “prime” comparable to legends, imagine his TRUE prime
Yeah he was not in his prime yet. He was just getting to that point where the great players begin to expand on their games. Either working on that mid range or 3 and working out the little problems with what they are already great at.
It's sad to see how just one injury derailed D-Rose's career completely.
It wasn't just one. That's what people forget. After his first injury he was still around 60 percent *athletically* from what he was before. The problem was that he kept getting injured.
@@ezbEtc Yeah true
If he went into the nfl as a wr he'd be amazing. He has a 4.19 40 yard. Thats a whole .1 more than tyreek hill
@@ezbEtc he had multiple
No he never truly landed correctly. It was that injury that was caused through years of bad landing
Rose's ability to finish around the rim and contort his body in air was the best I've seen since Jordan. There were times were I had flashbacks to when I was a kid while watching some of his moves, as though I could swear I had just watched a mini Jordan crash the rim.
Hi
Watch Donovan Mitchell
This is when 'load management' would've been very a career saver.
I love the MJ mentality of playing each game because there's one kid who was looking forward to seeing you play.
But teams should be smart enough to rest their key players in the 2nd half of the games if the playoffs are in sight for them.
Especially if they are primed to compete for the championship.
I'm sure D rose would have been the best player of his era if he wasn't injured. And I'm sure he knows it as well. the fact that despite this he still managed to accept being nothing more than a very solid pg playing for a low tier team tells you how great of a man he is. His story is incredibly sad and inspiring at the same time that it deserves a movie
He was the best player until injury .
@@kengrant3227 Lebron was literally in his prime..
@@bludboy2159 so what .
@@kengrant3227 Bron sent DRose home at least 3 or more times.
@@giiotm8272 bron had a stacked team . So it's bron and more sent rose home . Not just bron sir.
Control is the key word. Explosive, fast, agile were other blessings he had, but the fact that he had so much control with his package is what mad him DIFFERENT. Sadly, we’re all only human. The human body can only take so much. 😢
Yeah thats the difference between rose and westbrook, westbrook had as much explosiveness but was not in control
He actually had 4 knee surgeries and the 50 pt game didn’t go into OT. Even now when healthy, Rose is still a top talent in this league, he just hasn’t had much opportunity or been in a good situation in recent years. I need him to get a ring🌹💯
Two of them are minor though, and he returned in about 2-3 weeks. The major ones was the ACL (2012) and Meniscus (2013). Yes I concur with your assertion about D.Rose not being able to be in a team that will unhesitatingly render him the opportunity to rise in recent years. But we know that didn’t occur due to the immutable of criticism from the media that sort of muzzled the whole process of him being able to recuperate, corroborate and redeem himself from all of his misfortunes. As a result, Rose had spent quiet a lot of time outside of the league and he even considered hanging up his shoes.
He will never get a ring
@Onett shut up you piece of garbage he will
@@niel.otos1425 he is on the knicks rn 💀
His MVP season was memorable.
Since covid hit, I've been going back and watching old NFL and NBA games. 2010-2012 he was absolutely incredible.
Being that athletic comes with a price. His body broke down from it. It's such a shame. Rose could've been one of the all time great Chicago Bulls players.
This is y I always say russ edges up a lil over rose in athleticism. Becuz althletic endurance counts, russ took care of his body, rose didnt
@@wtegna well.. drose doesnt have KD caliber player during his Chicago times soo thats a thing too
The problem with Rose isn't his athleticism but his landing. You see Lavine who also tear his ACL but can give outstanding performance after the rehab
……….--------------------- ⬆️
@@5at5una you acting like russ played with kd since from his rooke till this day 💀
We never seen a “prime” d rose
If you're thinking about he is that scary cause he is that good and he is not even in his prime yet at that time
Prime is a another word of saying peak so technically that was drose highest peak and he eventually fall
D rose’s story nearly brings me to tears when I think about it.
I hope the injuries that happened to the likes of DRose, Russ and Blake don’t affect exciting young players such as Zion and Ja
We are all Drose Solid Fans ❤️
Wish we got to see rose at his best
He was who we all wanted to be with those moves in high school.
As a born and raised Chicagoan, it still hurts to this day thinking and talking about what could have been with Derrick Rose...
We would’ve won a chip if he never got injured
Being a lifetime Bulls fan after M.J. retired I thought D.Rose would lead them to the promised land and if he'd remained healthy I truly feel he would have. He was amazing and one of the biggest what it's in NBA history.
Prime D Rose was the epitome of athleticism on the court. Dude was fast, powerful, explosive, dynamic, and intelligent. Never forget when he flexed on Lebron and D wade down the fast break! 💪 Lebron was pissed😂
*Been a lifelong D 🌹 fan since his rookie season, always has been my favorite player EVER, hope he wins a ring someday.*
he was too good that he got nerfed heavily 😢
Being from the same neighborhood as Rose bro was like a superhero .. he was the most special player I’ve seen at the PG position in terms of speed, athleticism, finishes that just left your jaw on the floor…I truly wish his injuries didn’t derail his career msn I pray he gets a ring one day.
Dude was an absolutely amazing basketball player!!!
I'm so glad that you featured Drose ❤️
Loved Rose, been a Bulls fan for a very long time. His injury was very sad. As great as his explosiveness and scoring were I feel like the real greatness was missed. He was just getting passed those early years and into his prime and it was over.
We actually didn't get to see him in his prime. He got hurt in his early 20s and was never the same. I would have loved to see him around 26-28 years old without ever getting hurt. He was just scratching the surface of what he could do on the court.
No we did but the other meaning of prime which is peak drose peak is mvp drose which is why they say the mvp drose is his prime but it is true he have alot of imrpovement he can do
I hope him and Melo win a chip atleast before retirement.
Word.
Melo had chances to really win championships. He chose money and the New York over really giving himself a chance to win. He still a HOF tho.
@@GOODMuzikBoi that's not what we talkin bout
If they join the nets they will get they chip
Nah they're both shit
Nonstop Sports, could you guys make a video of "How good was Dirk Nowitzki actually?"
Im proud of 🌹. He still the reason why I watch basketball. He still balling too. He never stopped
I hope Derrick Rose will get a ring atleast one or two before he retire❤💪🌹
5:00 bro u can’t just lie. Drose was still top 10 most exiting finishers around the rim in the nba at that period. Some of his craziest acrobatics were in New York and his last season in Chicago it’s his choice not to raise up for the big time dunks. He just doesn’t want to get hurt again...

I was hoping you would do this one, thanks
*Awesome video Uncle* ... *Keep it up*
Named my Son after this man🌹🌹🌹🌹❤
This makes me feel so old, I grew up watching d rose🤣
The internet is a great thing sometimes its crazy how we could time travel like it was yesterday I swear if I could I would of make sure he rested in game when needed and take him out early on injuries night
Cool video! I'm surprised this video was made while his NBA career is still going on. I definitely hope Rose wins an NBA championship before he retires. Rose has been my #1 favorite Nba star ever since Kobe Bryant retired in 2016.
POV- your so early theres no bots yet
Aw man D - rose. Makes me sad seeing that. I hate it. It isn't fair for him. He's gone through so much.
I mean it’s his fault he kept landing with one leg look at russ he knows how to protect his body and he didn’t hace an injury that affected his playing style
Beautifully done! Nonstop
Derrick would be impressed with this report
my cousin was a d rose fan, he showed me d rose highlights when i was a kid. as soon as i saw him fly, i was hooked. that’s how basketball was introduced to me.
Derrick Rose is for sure will be one of the greatest "WHAT IF" in professional basketball history.
just rewatched the 50 point game.. man still hits me hard. DRose fan here no matter what.
I was 10 years old when the drose was in his prime. he was a great role model for playing basketball. I was watching his highlights and wearing Rose 2.0 which is still greatest basketball shoe ever then going out and try his signature moves. He reminds my childhood. LOVE U D. ROSE
Im too old right now. I used to saw him playing on the court before he was injured. I felt so sad of his fate. Im still the favorite of this guy even though he was injured i guess so many times in his career. Good luck derreck rose. Im still ur number one fun so to speak.
I feel like if Derrick Rose would’ve never gotten injured and he would’ve kept improving the way he was he would’ve possibly given MJ a run for his money
YA stupid he wouldn’t be better than mj Lebron or Kobe
@@Bruins31 kobe not even top 3
WE NEVER SAW D ROSE IN HIS PRIME. Remember he was like 23 when his injury first happened. They say your prime is between 27-32. He is 32 now. Most of his 20s he was recovering and reinventing his game. So we technically never saw him during his prime.
@Howard Vineta he was bout to
@Howard Vineta imo no he wasn’t. He was still trying to fully develop his game.
@Howard Vineta that shows how good he would have become. That ended up being his prime because of injuries but he would be better than Curry and probably the best player in the league if he didn’t get injured
Unless D. Rose had another superstar join him he would have never won a championship even if he wasn't injured. He is listed at 6'3" but barefooted he is 6'1". It's virtually impossible to be the first scoring option on a championship team and be that short. Nee Chris Paul and Damian Lilliard.
The way he dance mid air, poetry 🌹💔
the crazy thing is he'd prob average 35ppg in his prime if he wasn't injured
Nah probably 29 ppg in his prime
No way
Nah 29 max
It's sad injuries cut his prime😔
He didnt reach his prime.. he should've he was a bad man but due to injuries just like u said

I hope he's going to win the ring with the knicks
they are having extremely talented roster right now
Derrick rose is the reason for me to start watching the NBA in my country basketball is not really famous until 2016 but I loved how Derrick rose played he is the player that I truly respect and started collecting his jerseys
Non of these nba players with their yee yee ass haircuts could not do anything when D rose goes off
He was still way too young, he never reached a real prime and he still was clapping everyone on court.
I remember watching him when he first came onto the Bulls. I was a die-hard fan watching him from day one. This injury was probably the worst thing Chicago sports fans had to endure.
your videos always make my day ❤
I think if Rose doesn’t get hurt at all during the ‘12 Playoffs,Chicago would have lost to Miami in maybe a 7 game series instead of 5 from the previous year...plus if Chicago revamps its squad after 2012 I see Rose’s career looking like this
2x NBA Champion(2014-2015 back to back)
2x MVP 2011&2015
2x Scoring Champion
1x Assist Champion
11x NBA All Star
7x All NBA
4x All NBA Defensive
hell nah bro his bulls are not beating warriors and miami if anything they would beat tim duccan and lose to lebron and curry

Good joke
@@deepanr7076 what joke
He never reached his prime, thats the scary part 😪 ... My goat
agree with this video... if you watch the younger years of D. ROse you know how great he is... sadly those injuries affect his game style..
Arguably, he didn't even reach his prime, which is a terrifying thought.
Derrick Rose wasn’t in his prime at 22. Yeah he is was a mvp at 22. But that wasn’t his prime. Basketball players don’t reach their prime until their mid 20’s to early thirties. So basically basketball players don’t reach their prime until age 25 to age 33. It would be scary to imagine what Rose would’ve been around that age 25 to 33.
That is his prime but the other meaning which is peak but your correct he have alot to improve
D ROSE is a LEGEND and inspiration to all!!!!
A man without haters!
We never saw prime rose, we saw young rose, and post injury rose, prime rose is a mythical beast no one could stop
Twitter blew the fuck up when he scored 50, everybody had been routing for this man and it all just unleashed that night, such a great moment
True not considered a prime but a true Chicago Bulls legend If he never got hurt and stayed healthy oh my God he would’ve won championships eventually and that MVP is impressive for his second year I think he is one of the most underrated NBA players
I love Derrick Rose. I’m from Chicago and it was heartbreaking seeing his downfall due to injury. One correction at the end, though. Russell Westbrook was more athletic than Rose at their respective peaks. It wasn’t by a lot, but Westbrook was an absolute freak athlete and easily the most athletic point guard ever.
His two handed dunks were magic
D Rose was a absolute beast! Wish he never got injured
D rose was my favorite player to watch. Small but insanely explosive.
Man basketball was always my 1st love but sadly I wasn’t watching or into the NBA around this time… so…. I never really got to experience the whole
D.Rose rise or fall… & that bothers me till this day… bcuz he’s my type of player… small, all heart, speedy & crafty…. But to add crazy hops & posterizing… man I wish I tuned in.
But man, it’s sad that he never got to play his FULL potential… prob be a great
Still amazing how we all witnessed the most explosive guard I'm glad these video's everywhere
The crazy thing is, we've actually never saw Derrick rose's prime. He still had plenty of room to grow. But the injury got to him before he had the chance to reach his peak
Man, when he got drafted, Drose was a threat to the league. Drose hit the court running, and no one could funk with Drose.
his dunk on Joel Anthony was something else
Every kids at my age in Mongolia amazed how he played. Notebook with his picture was sold many times and Bulls jersey written Rose in the back was the coolest jersey. (Probably Kobe or LeBron’s were more famous) Thats few examples how amazing he was.
Arhhh the guy who inspired me to play basketball, I still remember this photo 2:54 on the local newspaper and I was like damn basketball is beautiful
Man miss these days, will never forget prime d rose
DAMN STRAIGHT BARS! TRUTH BE TOLD MY MAN!
He was one of my favorite players
Back then i was always amazed whenever i see his plays, i was like is this guy for real?! But at the same time i was thinking the way he plays, his legs isn't gonna last.
I remember when rose was a rookie we all rocked his jersey because everyone knew d rose was one of the greatest Chicago bulls had in those few yrs of absolute magic
One of the best pg in history just destroyed by injuries
I didn't know anything about basketball but when I saw Chicago play back in the day, I was like 'who tf is THAT guy?' that guy was d-rose. even the most casual of viewers can see how insane he was
"As if fate wanted it to happen..."
No, the NBA wanted it to happen, because it's a good story and it brings a top talent to a big market. And the league always gets what the league wants. That is true for every sport.
So your blaming the leauge for drose injuries? That’s dumb it was clearly drose fault the guy don’t know how to land properly
@@v1rus136 No he's saying the draft odds were skewed to get the Bulls the first pick to get a superstar playing for his home city. 1.7% odds at first overall and it happens to go through when it's someone like Rose getting selected by his home team is a little suspicious.
It's a pretty common conspiracy theory. People think the same shit happened to get the Knicks the first overall pick for Ewing.
The youngest MVP of the league. I think that fact is more than enough to understand how actually good was D Rose...
He was a top 5 player for 2 years though. I would take prime rose on my all time team
He actually was better. He shit on everyone. Kobe and all.
Wade also played a big part in Miami beating the Bulls
A fearless finisher, A Fearless person. Didn't let the pressure get to him and won rookie of the year, Won MVP in his third season being the youngest in history. Dude had the most talent in a PG but never got to his full potential
Prime D Rose was cold asf
He was that rare breed of player that brings unhuman levels of excitement around the rim. Some MJ and Ja Morant kind of stuff
We all love Derrick Rose!!! ❤🌹
he was a legend in his prime EVER!what a shame dude what a shame
