You can try the same procedure for metal but if it doesn't work, look up PDR videos. Metal is not generally as forgiving but if you take your time you can get the same result.
WOW!!!! Awesome video. So where do i get this 23 piece kit??? The link above in the description does not work. Please let me know how to get the kit. thanks
The hot and cold water trick and some pushing and pulling did the trick for my slightly bent bumper :) didn't even need the glue kit thanks for the video :)
@@ClintHolland the hot water or applications of heat I do agree on!, but why the glue? Couldn't it be pushed out by hand from reaching the inside and pushing the dent out, or with a piece of wood from the inside?
@@jchrg2336 Possibly but not on this vehicle and I suspect many other. This one has a block of foam behind the bumper that would prevent you from doing that but I suspect many cars would be fine.
Nice job, Clint. Nothing ventured nothing gained. Love your “try anything” attitude! 👍
Exactly. The story of my life. Or at least one of the stories.
Wow. Genius man. Hot then cold water. I'm surprise this video doesn't have 50k plus views. Nice tip....
Thanks. Maybe one day it will.
Excellent video.... thanks for producing.
Is there a similar technique for a painted metal bumper? I have a very small dent in my 1-month-old Silverado that is bugging me.

Good to try . Thanks for sharing
Use the alcohol spray to cool down the glue
Would you advise trying this with the bumper removed from the vehicle?
It honestly doesn't matter. It might be easier with it still on the vehicle so you have something to support the pulling you are doing.

Unfortunately they are saying they are out of stock due to Covid. Go to Amazon and search for PDR Kit and you will get plenty of replacements.
I advise that you update your links. The kits listed are not available, but others are
Thank you. Updating now.
I wud assume boiling water can jack your paint
It can although in most cases it would be fine. I don't recommend it but if you have older paint it definitely could cause some issues.

The kit and every item in the Bbkang Amazon store is unavailable. Looks like they went out of business.
Search for dent removal kit on Amazon and you will see many of the exact same kits.
Looks like something I might Try, although I'm sure my dent is quite a difficult one. Maybe I can contact you and show you it for some advice?
Feel free to email me what you got and I will try to help.
What about that smaller dent to the right? Any way of getting that out with hot water or a heat gun?
That's actually not a dent but an indentation built into the bumper to support a front license plate.
Thank you for sharing.,good tools.
Good job explaining
Will be much better with dent areas where it is not bumper
Remove the bumper to use a heat gun. Heat carefully from behind
Isopropyl Alcohol/Rubbing Alcohol will wick under hot glue and release it.
Great to know. Thanks for the tip.
Nice job. Thanks for showing wrong technique which will avoid headaches.
You are welcome. Can't be wrong if it works.
To tell you the truth I think there's a whole lot of nonsense on up in here also!
Not sure what you mean? People have been using hot water to remove dents for years. Not my idea but it works.
