I love the scene used here. Shows that even in the darkest moments of history, there is a ray of light and hope.

I swear I don't know why but this version feels more powerful, and ironically relevant today if you look at the events between November 2016 through February 2021 in the United States. Not the 15 to 20 million part I mean as in the chaos like the 4 year long period of chaos which included riots, warring factions, even freaking tear gas in place of mustard gas. Seriously stop and think about that, younger generations lead astray by the old, former neighbors turned into enemies, as well as all of the multiple controversial events that happened in the duration of those 4 years. Honestly now I feel like the millennials might be the new lost generation, I mean why should we bear the brunt of the consequences from the older generations that were fighting for control over a damn chair in either congress or the white house? Why should we have to deal with all the fallout from this four year non combative civil war? Just saying, these connections are very horrifying when you stop and look at the events of the great war and what I like to call the "meme war" since it was mostly online, keyword "mostly".

Millennials are more than likely going to be the catalyst Is to the end of capitalism as imperialism declines around the world
The Capitalist war machine Is is losing all of its fuel To keep going
As the Imperial core is still active

@@reddawn1873 (just realized after posting disclaimer, I am not a republican even though my opinion may come off like that bit I'm more of a capitalist libertarian, I believe in the free market for everyone to succeed if only the republican party wpuld STOP RIGGING IT MORE IN THEIR FAVOR THAN A DAMN UNDERGROUND CASINO!!!) I don't believe that capitalism will fall, see I may be a millennial but I know all the dangers of the other options other than capitalism. Plus when you day imperialism that hints at the possibility of western powers having colonies outside their homelands to either expand their shinking empires, looking at your England and France. Plus with new discoveries or new invention like electric card, busses, as well as new medicines, vaccines, and cancer treatment breakthroughs capitalism has done alot of good in this world. Without it we wouldn't have youtube, the internet, or even television at that. Whereas the other options unless you're a higher up you're either put to work or liquidated, looking at you 30's and 40's Italy, Germany, & USSR. And yes you can include Russia in that gambit, don't believe me? Look up the holodomore. That's why it's kind of apropo really, all forms of socialism can destroy millions of lives whether it's communism, fascism, nazism, Marxism, etc. I know alot of people are going to disagree with me cause they can't see capitalism as a good thing, but tell me why does modern day capitalism have the lowest body count to its workers? Even back when there weren't any labor laws or employee protection rights put in place even then it still had a lower body count than all the forms of socialism, plus until a monarch comes to power and starts launching colonies everywhere as well as hold almost absolute power then imperialism is most like dead, don't get any ideas England the usa remembers how the tax laws on paper, wine, and molasses caused not only people to go broke but to also lose their jobs. Moral of that story is if you're gonna tax anyone make sure it WONT KILL OF THEIR BUSINESS AND LOSE OUT IN THE FREE MARKET!!! And finally thank you for replying to my comment, im just throwing my opinion out there mainly cause of how history likes to repeat itself at time

@@tankdempsey5977 Didn't really come off that way to me anyways It's just more of my observation of capitalism And where it seems to be heading

    • @reddawn1873

@@tankdempsey5977 I have not said that capitalism didn't bring about Is innovations like that Even karl marx said this
But you know it also capitalism brings stagnation Is look at Hollywood they're just reusing old shit That was successful.
      As for the ussr
1st the ussr was industrializing At the time of the holodomer A developing country gradually decreases the amount of Babies being produced this is true of all nations So of course there was going to be a decrease of life living there
yes their was a famine But the ussr did send food aid to the Ukraine people Is when the scale of the situation was finally understood And the lowered Is the amount of grain that they would have to give to the Central government that was to be distributed amongst all of The republics twice.
the purges that happened Because fascists slipped into the government's Was blocking the functions of the government
As for the ussr government it was a democratic Bureaucracy.
How functioned is that people would elect People into positions of power and then Those people would elect more people into positions of power
These people Is who elect other people into power Are obligated to vote for what the people they represent want This was kind of forced to be a thing because without it The democracy would have collapsed otherwise.
As for Stalin No he did not make a cult that was Khrushchev He idolized him So he could discredit Stalin
If you look at all of his quotes before Stalin death he get a very different person
As for your first paragraph I didn't assume anything like that so don't worry about it
