    Omg! This video showed up weeks into my search for a solution. THIS is the ONLY instructions that actually worked! My mother always said, talk to the head not to the feet. Always seek out the manufacturer first!

    It definitely works. Try it, walk away for a bit, and try it again. It took a few times over an hour or so, but it did eventually start pumping water through it again. Be patient and be sure to descale it a couple of times a year as recommended.

    This worked on my Citiz! It had been run with a dry tank and wasn’t making any noise at all - that’s an indication that your pump is deactivated. If the machine is making noise but no water is coming out, that seems to be an air lock issue.

    I could not get mine to work after trying many times to activate so I left it. went back many house later and after another 10+ tries it finally worked. I kept going because this time you could see water trying. The first time there was zero water. works now.

    Picked up a Nespresso C-100 at a thrift shop for five bucks and it wasn't pumping water when I tried it. After lifting the handle up and running it, took a couple tries but it started flowing properly. On the second try I noticed the lever could be pushed a little further open, so I held it there for a moment. Don't know if holding the lever like that helped or if it just needed two attempts to clear, but mine IS working now.

    May I use this as a clip to my upcoming. Espresso RUclips video since mine arrived from Amazon and wouldn't pump water?
    I did the rather difficult solution first of putting a little water on the tank probably .3L and using a bubble straw also filled with water over the tank valve then blowing into the straw to force water into the pump. This didn't work got me though it does for some. Then, I placed a zip lock sandwich bag into the reservoir, which probably had .1/4 liter or more zipped the bag to about 1/2 inch closed, filled the bag with air and resealed it. Then I pressed lunga and simultaneously pushed the bag toward the water. After 3 tries this worked. Then...
    I saw your solution. Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on how you look at it, I will have to wait until the next time it won't draw water to try it.

    it still makes that noise and water still wont flow for me :( what or how would i troubleshoot it?

    Hallo, i did do everything like on the video and i repeated it more then 20 times because it wasn’t working ! At the end i could not activate my mashin anymore and now she’s not working. Do you have some other suggestion that i could try?
