Guess who is 2nd on the team in 3pt percentage after Maxi? Hardy at 40%, and Kidd wont even play him, hed rather play Exum who is shooting 28% in the playoffs right now. Keep in mind Kidd told Kris Middleton he was not an NBA Caliber player when he coached Milwaukee.

Kidd ain't taking the blame for this loss if it happens. Boston is just a better team. Impressive how Luka speaks Spanish better than Jaime Jaquez Jr.
Jaime jaquez is a no sabo kid.. but Jaime grew up in the states he can get by and understand it but tbh every first gen 2nd gen kids Spanish is actually on some intermediate level regardless if there family speaks to them all Spanish .. Luka main language was Spanish for 7-8 years before he actually came to the league

It’s really impressive. Europeans are very good at mastering different languages because of the incentives promoted by their nations. Unfortunately in my country, it is very difficult to achieve this kind of thing, but I'm trying.
I you look months back no one really had Mavs in finals. I still cant believe it. But now we here and lets go all the way and win it, we need 4 more wins
J Kidd was my fav PG during his playing days. This may be my favorite version of him.
My favorite version would be seeing that Exum and Green are absolute hot garbage and that Exum was NOT NOT pushing the pace, he was dribbling in the lane and stopping and letting Boston get in its sets. Its time for Hardy or this series is a wrap.
At this point, I’m curious to see what Markieff Morris can bring to the table. He can’t do any worse than what the starters and everyone else is doing.

The Mavs 2nd unit NEEDS to step up. The refs need to be fair both ways. Kyrie needs to show up. How the Mavs respond this game 3 at home will be huge. Exum and Hardy possibly need to add some juice if they get minutes
Im ok with Exum for Green, but not having Hardy out there is beyond ridiculous at this point, the kid has done nothing but produce when his name is called. Kidd has a special hate for him for no reason at all. Him saying Exum pushed the pace and did great is complete BS, Exum speed past the half court line and stopped in the lane and let Boston get in its sets every time he had the ball.

Nah, it's so simple, yet so hard, the only issue with our game, is that we are not hitting shots at all, shots we hit most of the time, and there's a lot of sloppiness and bad decisions on our part, like a smaller player forcing a bad dunk on KP, why would you do that. Luka has been mostly himself on the offensive end, no complaints from me there, but he has to check his surroundings more, he has been pickpocketed too much, more awareness please. They have to remember how to play professional basketball, because what they were doing these past 2 games wasn't it. In all honesty, the Celtics haven't played for shit, they won thanks to our bad decision-making and missed shots we usually make.
Take game 3. Let's go. KP had all that adrenaline in game 1. Not so much in game 2. The team has to make shots. Go Kyrie, the ball will fall.

So far there 2-8 from the corner.. they never been comfortable shooting 3’s from anywhere else Thts why they can’t hit even the open ones. I'll agree to disagree then. Sure, he turned it over on that fastbreak in Game 2, but there are many examples where Luka was able to play in an off-ball action because of having an actual point guard out there. Hardy is not a point guard. Creating your own shot as a low% offensive player while being inexperienced in running an offense and a worse defensive option is a tough play in this series. He was genuinely rough in Game 1.

Some of y'all are reading into my question way too much and making it something that it's not. It's not focused super specifically about Exum. The concept I asked about was having a third guard next to Luka and Kyrie. In Game 2, that happened to be Exum so I used his name to simplify this question since it was relevant. It can be Hardy in that role if they choose. Again, the concept is what matters.
Also he did bring pace, you don't have to act like a player brings nothing just because you think someone could be a better option. That's not logical or fair critique. I actually think you are wrong for suggesting Hardaway. He's a bad defender that doesn't box out and is easy to gameplan for by running him off the lane since he'll settle for long 2s that he won't hit at a consistent rate. Also, they're bleeding badly enough as it is with point of attack defense and giving up size mismatches at the wing. I could be rude and be more aggressive in my disagreement, but I'm being respectful. Hardy is similar in this regard that he's not a positive defender in some contexts. Both sides of the ball matter a lot. If someone is more equipped offensively and they aren't playing, maybe you should ask why.

If you disagree you have not been watching the playoffs that closely then.
There is a lot of detail that layers that go beyond that. He was routinely uncomfortable handling the ball in postseason performances against aggressive ball pressure. Now he has to handle ball pressure from White, Jrue, etc. There were times he was overdribbling and having to pray it wasn't a turnover with some even leading to that. He's also genuinely horrible attacking drop coverage which has been his issue his whole career and he forced it against Porzingis without much success a few times. He's got to be under control. And I'm not saying this is enough to not play him at all. I just don't think it's a no brainer. There is value in him spacing out and taking those 3s and driving closeouts, I definitely agree. But he is known to press too much at times which can go great or poorly, which has to be considered.
