Subscribed your channel. Very nice explanation but it would be nice if you show the temperature difference in practical cases. some people suggested a combination of Gypsum sheets along with Thermocol sheets on top of it. Please comment. My flat is at top floor and the roof height is only 9ft. I can only afford to give a gap of 6". Can you suggest any other solution for heat. Thank you.

The very purpose of the false ceiling is to stop heat radiation. What I observed is the heat trapped between the roof and the false ceiling has to out from the room. We know there will be ventilators for every room. People started giving more preference to the beauty rather than driving out the heat between roof and false ceiling. They are closing the ventilators. Then, how the heat radiation go? No way. I did my false ceiling with thermocol and it is first floor . It is effectively working. Some people doing the false ceiling in a different manner. Thermocol with more thickness are nailed to the roof. Again, going for a false ceiling either with thermocol or with pop. It is the most effective way.
