01:30 - I cut half inch thick MDF scraps for the router template. I secured them using a nail gun.
01:50 - Setting the router bit depth is easy. Just place the plate insert between plunge router and the workbench surface in setting the depth of the cut.
02:45 - After prepping the table by sanding to give a smooth surface, protect it by applying some thin layer of clear gloss lacquer.
03:25 - Cut holes within the plate insert flush to accommodate the palm router or trimmer when installing the jig and router base upside down.
03:35 - With all that tasks properly done, you'll get perfect fittings every time!
04:00 - Finally, do some test cuts with the actual trim router in place. I can also fit the router's included edge guide as router guide fence in cutting edge profiles.
Woodworking possibilities will become "sky is the limit" to anyone with a nifty router table on a workbench. The flexibility and convenience is priceless and makes any woodworking job more enjoyable and more productive. Edge trim routers are surely the essential tools for woodworking professionals and amateur specially who build car subwoofers and home theater speakers.

Great video! How do you attach the router's parallel guide to the table plate at @4:24? Thanks
hey how's it going. i attached the guide to the plastic router base underneath the table. i also drilled a hole for that to go through.
@@chrclmnky Ah, I see. thanks.
Nice set up. where did you get the parallel guide (and is that what it is called)? I've tried searching for one, but can't seem to find one like you use.
Thanks. Parallel guide comes from the palm router. I think every routers has accessories like this.
@@chrclmnky agreed
Excellent it looks very good but I wonder what you think of other projects where they install a guide with a hole and behind it they make an outlet to adapt a piece of pipe to be able to connect a vacuum cleaner hose since using the router generates too many wood particles and for safety and the eyes and the nose I see more convenient do than leave it open.
yes i was about to build dust port for vacuum but i got lazy. what i do is just place the vacuum hose near and clamp it so it won't move. does the job well.
@@chrclmnkyattaboy, functional, simple, fast, no frills. You’ll be at the local watering hole throwing back single malts with the day’s work long finished while the other fellas futz with their featherboards and FUPAs 👍🏻

Sir ask ko lang kung ano parameter ng 2xl ll new version
Haven't tested a 2XL yet. Will post once I get my hands on one soon.
Lo que me detuvo fuero los tornillos, que no son compatibles hay que comprarlos
Any normal countersunk screws or bolts will do on the template.
What bit did you use when routing out the recess? You were bearing on the nailed guide boards.
Shallow mortise bit with bearing. About 10mm cutting depth.
anong sander gamit mo idle?
sheet sander lang po sir.
when I cut out the recess with the router, it came out 2 mm too shallow. what is the best way to remove the final amounts. I am worried if I route it again then it will become to deep
I set the depth by using the guide MDF scrap and the aluminum jig on top of each other and set down the straight flush trim bit, as shown at about 1:44
Thanks. This is what I did but somehow it is 2-3mm not enough.
@@matthewalbum did you set the bit and touch its blades on top of the table?
@@chrclmnky I set it to the bottom of my flush bit. I guess the blade is not flush at the bottom. Surprising for a Freud bit. The question is how best to fix this
@@matthewalbum subtract already cut 2mm off the jig height. That is about to going to be tricky. Good luck.
Bass compartment height 28 depth 30 width 25 (sound coming out good?) (150w audio amplifier circuit) -Thanks
Hi, what do you mean?
@@chrclmnky I mean is a Bass Speaker of 28 depth 30 width 25 sound good? (150w audio amplifier circuit) -Thanks
What nail gun is that?
