I don’t think we’re going to get venom with Tom Holland. The trailer shows the cop collecting that piece of Simbiote that was left behind from the bar. Seems like another Sony fakeout just how they had those Spider-Man pictures in the morbius trailer & didn’t have it or Spider-Man in the movie. Sony is playing games just to get people in theaters. Not me. I’ll wait for streaming. The second venom was so bad I just cannot see myself spending another penny on this Spider-Man-baiting franchise.

So I have a real question. Y'all mentioned Madame Web on being part of the MCU but are we sure? The reason I say this is the movie itself takes place in the early 2000s then they introduce Uncle Ben and Peter's mom. So that means in the Sony universe Spider-Man should exist.
I feel like the reason they didn't show Aunt May was to keep it ambiguous.
I hope it’s not going to be the King in Black Storyline. Because it’s not going to make any sense without Spider-Man and the Avengers.

It was a decent movie. The dialogue was pretty subpar though. And the lead actress had no charisma. I would’ve preferred the actress for May Parker. She seemed way more interesting and fun.
