Flies or something must’ve made their way in but then to be be on the chicken is crazy too because it was just fried and if they were there before frying, you wouldn’t even notice them, so there’s a bunch of maggots where they held the chicken. Not saying it’s absolutely impossible to happen at home but if you have eyeballs and cook your food proper without leaving it out for hours the odds of this happening at home are super low. The juices always went into the cardboard so we threw that away in the regular trash.. we had a dishwasher that collected that soaked cardboard and put it in the cardboard container... After a couple of days when you were in that area the stench was literally unbearable flies and magiots everywhere 🤮

Ever since then, I always check the lettuce in every burger & chicken sandwich I buy for bugs. If it can happen at Chik Fil A, it can happen anywhere.
The maggots are created from not letting the chicken completely drip dry of grease and being set on 1 side for long periods of time thus creating a bacteria heaven for flys and maggots
