It's also the shortest episode. And it's very, very dumb.

The episode name is "Breakthrough" but the only thing the Salty Nerds want to break through is a brick wall with their heads because this show is such a pain to watch!

Love the show as always. I appreciate the love. I know this show is really really bad like REALLY REALLY! But you have to review season three if it comes out. The reactions you guys have when Matt brings up a new part of the show is funny as hell. Can’t wait for the season finale show. See you soon.

I agree. I want a season 3 only for the salty nerd podcast at this point. I’m done hoping that the writers will give us anything coherent at this point.
It's absolutely true that there are only two people reviewing "Invasion." I did the same thing... I googled
"Invasion reviews" at the beginning of this season and it was just you guys and Smitty.
There are one or two others, but their reviews are as incoherent as the show.
This show is amazing, had a really bad cocaine problem for the past year, and began binging tv shows and doing all nighters, which was ruining my life.
Invasion fixed my addiction, being the only show that could send me to sleep even while snorting an 8 ball of cocaine!

I came here after I got to season 2 episode 7 and could not take it anymore. I had been watching while multitasking but even this drove me to exasperation. I had to seek out like-minded folks. My gf dropped out in the second or third episode of season one. I’m so glad your show exists. It’s like modern science fiction’s version of The Room. Except it cost hundreds of millions of dollars.

Please continue with season 3. Watching u guys gradually fall into misery as season2 progressed was funny and sad at the same time. Ur reviews r way more entertaining than the show itself🎉

The infinity symbol is in so many films now it's hard to keep track of. it may not mean anything to you, but it does to them.

@@SaltyNerdPodcast It's the Infinity sign. It was used in Fear the Walking dead, It was the design of the alien vessel in "Another Life" and appears in many other films. It's also the symbol Zuckerburg chose for META. In modern mysticism, the infinity symbol has become identified with a variation of the ouroboros, an ancient image of a snake eating its own tail that has also come to symbolize the infinite, and the ouroboros is sometimes drawn in figure-eight form to reflect this identification-rather than in its more traditional circular form. Many of these symbols go way back in mysticism and many believe they are used in film as a way of adhering to natural law where by the Film makers are required to ask for your permission to influence you, but in a way that is subconscious only and subversive in the sense that you don't know that by watching it you have given permission to be influenced by the film maker. I come to this from a place as a film maker myself and understand how images are used in this fashion. understand that most films are yes, just entertainment, but there are many that are meant for more than that. And it works. Oh and a PS NOTE: most of the time I see this sign used in film, is in films that are Apocalyptical in nature.

I gave-up on this 3 episodes in to Season 2.
Someone needs to explain to me how Apple TV can have an amazing show like "For All Mankind" and then also have this awful crapfest, 'Invasion."

Thank you Apple, for wasting our time with quite possibly one of the worst Sci-Fi series ever broadcast. Zero research, zero narrative, zero continuity. Quite honestly a college level film student could have made a better show.
Heck, a high schooler with a phone camera could make a better show. Let's be honest. lol.

At this point I have to say Jim Bell Tyson’s storyline is the most interesting 😂😂😂😂 Open to all speculation and possibilities and untainted by fuckwit writing, yet. Not trying to make light of the actor’s health condition, but looks like the body and blood of a good actor had a physiological reaction to the show before he got too far
