Fixer is my favorite class. Masking grenades and "please stand up" are clutch. First class I leveled to 30. The main difference is I use wheatgrass and just put power shot on my scout rifle. I usually pick up a better weapon later anyway.

As of lately I've been running insane mode with some friends and I've tended to lean more towards medic for that stim boost in clutch situations. The stim pistol is great for more than just the temporary boost, such as being able to revive down teammates that you can't reach right away and the other perks the medic has to offer.
Coastline You can also use the stim pistol to instantly force a bull to release a teammate before they even start taking damage if you time it right, stunning the bull for a few seconds.
I agree with you there. If I'm using Gas, I tend to go with 2 of them. There are gonna be times where you get caught with your pants down and pickpocket suffers hard if the team is down and you autorevive yourself without gas on you. It had no cooldown before the nerf and used each incap you had based on difficulty, where you got insta-dropped everytime you got back up if you had no equipment to throw down. For Ammo, I always go pick pocket due to synergy with it's other skills. You can spam it, kill more, drop after, kill more, repeat. you'll have supply boxes all over the area and the explosive rounds stagger bulls on their ass before they go into charge phase. Fixer is a flexible class that everybody should try out.

Your recommended perks are almost exactly the ones I settled on before I found this video :) (I haven't bought the big five o perk yet). I think the fully upgraded masking grenade gives you 14 seconds invisibility (6 base + 5 with Efficiency + 3 with Shadow Walker).
Called a revolver cylinder they can hold anywhere from 5 to 10 shots but normaly the more a cylinder holds the smaller the caliber round you use so the trade off is more ammo but less power or more power but less shots per reload thats one of the downsides of the revolvers in general but hey thats the cost of having the ability to blow a bears head off dirty harry style
Interesting build, I have both a supply bag build and a masking bomb build. Side effects is actually good for when you have a clutch moment, I’ve used it in moments where someone was swarmed and throwing the masking bomb on swarm would damage the zombies while I go for the save, very situational but by far my favorite go to class to play
Hey, nice video. Fixer is my favorite class as well, the Masking Granade allow you to have such clutch moments. I have a question about the Battle Rifle: wich upgrade do you prefer? I'm not sure if the efficiency you get from the higher accuracy makes up for the loss of 10 rounds.
Personally I would take the rextra rounds. Efficiency or accuracy or handling, whichever you are taking about, doesn't ever seem to really bother me but I am on PC and some says it's easier to aim.
So, why wouldn’t I want to damage zombies so I don’t get pinned/taken down while I’m trying to revive a team mate? Because the more zombies I kill the easier it is to no be attacked. They also don’t take me down nor touch me while the masking grenade is lethal; it slickly blasts as a masking camouflage, too, even though it’s not under those specific settings.it is also very, very effective when trying to revive teammates in clutch moments.
i actually use the lethal grenade with the increased cloud duration... the only things it doesn't kill are a charger or infector. i don't know about the higher difficulties, but it does a good job thinning out the hordes when i am trying to pick my teammates up after a wipe, lmao
In my opinion, the masking gas is one of, if not the most important tool on harder difficulties when shit hits the fan. If the person knows what they're doing they can use it to get out of just about any jam.
I feel like a good addition would be a completion update where (just like mw2) you know which difficulty you completed each map on. Ergo, special rewards for completing all maps on insane, hard etc or all Tokyo, NY etc. episodes
Hey man I have all the classs max lvl and I started with fixer and never picked up the masking grenades the supply bags can come in really clutch I have saved my whole team many times by lasering a horde with explosive ammo
Picking up ammo from the box will also reload your gun! But i would like to know... What exactly does explosive ammo do? More atk power and adds AoE?? Also how much explosive ammo you get per pick up.

I’m always the one who kills the specials,, I swear nobody damn cares about getting infected or about the screamers bringing in even more zombies... I play medic and I spam the hell out of those stims, pumping a slasher with a chainsaw full of stims when they’re in the middle of a horde just 👌👌
@@BobaDavis Unless a bug, I just double checked on PC. With the perk de-selected and not having fixer selected, sporting carbine shows max pen. When i go back to my fixer and also choose the pen perk, the bar doesn't move. So I am not sure, perhaps we are talking different guns?

I think supply bag up to hard then masking grenade for higher difficulty. Recently got back into this game, definitely some helpful videos on class builds. Edit: sporting carbine+scavenger= endless explosive ammo. Bulls and infectors go down like nothing.

For Horde supply bags are a must, throwing blues not so much.

Giving explosive ammo increased penetration (+15-20% maybe) on top of its current effects would make it more valuable. Especially during swarms.

I'm not in front of the game, but I think the Sporting Carbine has half the Max Penetration bar filled, whereas the pen perk will fill it completely.
Tier 5 shows maxed for me without the perk.

totally know that feeling! sometimes I use a controller. I wish we could actually shoot as fast as we can sadly there is that short delay.

Pickpocket is terrible with non-auto rifles in higher difficulties. Can't rack up my DPS enough as Zombies are getting harder and harder to kill.
