I really hope you play more of this game. You haven’t even scratched the surface for content in this game. $40.00 is a great price for the amount of content in this game. It will take over a year to complete it all.

Yep, not to mention, as long as you do your weekly DreamSnap, you shouldn’t ever have to purchase moonstones for the Premium Shop. I usually get between 2500-4000 a week, usually being 4k. Never had to purchase anything in this game and I’ve been playing since it launched. I feel like there’s so much negativity surrounding this game and I don’t understand why. Especially when there’s basic similarities between both AC and DDV, meaning…cooking, fishing, gardening, gathering mats, leveling up friendships, Dreamlight Duties vs. Nook Miles, etc., and decorating being the biggest one. I absolutely love AC, but haven’t touched it in eons. With no updates, other than constantly re-decorating there’s nothing left to do.
And we are getting a free update in the game and expansion. ❤
Allso with all the uppdate who will get relese so much content for so little money
i bought this game when the demo launched in september of 2022, i’ve put hundreds of hours into it and i’m nowhere near done. the storylines in this game are incredible, you’re going to absolutely love it!!

DDLV is one of those games that I wasn't sure if I would enjoy but bought it anyway when it was on sale during early access. I've been playing for a long time now and it became one of my most played cozy games. I have over 600 hours combined from switch and PC. The game has come a long way since its early access days and with updates and their DLC it has continued to get even better. I'd say the devs have listened to the community a lot and implemented a lot of our suggestions which is really refreshing to see them do. I hope you'll play more, there is so much content and I wouldn't even say I'm the biggest Disney fan at all but despite that I've found so much joy playing this game. I truly think there is something for everyone in this game!
I also hope you will play more. The early game is very different and is a set up. It's like giving up on AC before 3 stars. I was so excited to see you play this. It's one of my favs.
🎉 I waited for so long for you to try this game! But I really wanted to see you DECORATE 😍. I don't know why people didn't mention that even if you don't have much in your inventory, you can literally pick up and take and move almost EVERYTHING! Street lights, benches, trees, flower beds, houses ! Even path patterns on the ground and arrange it any way you want. Please try it next time
Also you can use your moon stones to get an extra house skin or extra house for your character. Tower of terror is NOT a house skin, just a decor. However two other houses are and you can use as many of them as you want in your valley
If you plan on sticking with this game. DO NOT DECORATE on Switch! Wait for a sale and buy on PC
I normally enjoy games like Fallout or Diablo 4 or Call of Duty, but my all-time favorite game is Disney Dreamlight Valley. I am a 33 year old dude and started playing day 1, still can’t get enough DDLV.
DDLV is one of the best games by far of 2023...its only getting better too!!

This game made me jump ship from ACNH and I haven’t stopped playing since launch. I can count on one hand how many times I’ve logged into ACNH in that time.
I didn’t care about Disney at all but I got this game because it got recommended and I’m so glad I did. I have put so many hours into it and because they have so many updates and Star Paths I’ve never gotten bored. I hope you play it longer. I love AC but I got bored with it after they stopped updating. I’ve played AC since GameCube at it will always be my favorite. I would love it if you started playing DDLV more. I would definitely watch that content too.

I got it as a day present at launch on Switch then jumped over to Xbox and haven’t stopped playing yet. ❤️❤️

I’m going to preface this by saying that this is my opinion. As others have stated, I also feel there are many similarities between AC and DDLV. Both games have shopping, fishing, cooking, gathering resources, player visits, performing daily tasks, and decorating amongst other things. Obviously, there are of course differences as well, but the general similarities are undeniable. I personally am not a big fan of the DDLV storyline, but still find the game to be very entertaining. It’s ok to like both games, there doesn’t have to be discord between the games or its players. In the same vein, it’s also ok to dislike one or the other, or even both for that matter. I personally enjoy both. Let’s just remember to respect everyone’s opinions and not just the ones that only align with your own beliefs.
This game is not coming free to play anymore, ever. However, well worth the price considering the amount of content! Ive been playing since it came out and im still not done with all the quests. I am a laid back player tho. I certainly never tried to rush thru the story so idk im sure you COULD do it much faster. Regardless, enjoyed watching you give it a go!! I find myself coming back to this silly game update after update. Its really charming imo.

Love this game, played it a lot for over a year. My mom is in her 60s and never played games much but we got her a switch and DDV and she loves the game! She’s done absolutely everything and plays every update. 😂 I enjoy the decorating and dreamssnaps more than the quests (decorating is best on PC). The main story is pretty good I just don’t like the character quests..
I took a break from from the game myself, but want to get back into it. I hope you play more of it if you enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed the map and graphics especially during the daytime. It has a good storyline, but this could have worked not using disney characters. 4 hours of hitting rocks digging up the thorn roots reminds me of clearing the acnh island of weeds/stones/branches.
Glad I got to watch the replay, but would not invest $40 to play this myself.

I bought it while it was still in beta, made my avatar and that’s as far as I got. I play with both x and y camera inverted and it doesn’t allow this to be done. So it was a total waste of money for me. And yes I have tried playing ‘normal’ and just can’t do it, at nearly 70 I’m stuck with how I am 😏

RUclips unsubbed me fixed I would’ve been at this stream
I had to fight nintendo so hard to get a refund for this game. With how badly it runs on switch it gave me horrific motion sickness to the point where I couldn't even play it. I bought the ultimate edition and spent over $100. Yet despite being unable to play it and despite the developers acknowledging the motion sickness the game was causing players nintendo were refusing to give me a refund. Which is pretty shitty if you ask me with the fact that one look at my nintendo account would show that I've spent over $3000 on games and this is the first time I have ever asked for a refund since I bought my switch lite in March 2020. Ended up getting a third party consumer rights group involved and finally got my money back but the whole thing has left a bad taste in my mouth.

@@Doyoungismyfave all the settings did nothing to help with the motion sickness the game was causing me and Nintendos refund policies are beyond ridiculous. Since buying my switch lite in March 2020 I have spent $3405.85 for 70 games according to dekudeals yet Nintendo wanted to fight like I was pulling teeth over just one game I was asking for a refund for?

This is the first time I’ve ever requested a refund in my four years of owning my switch lite and the devs acknowledged that the game was causing motion sickness to players even making whole updates to try and help address it. It seems a bit much to me that Nintendo wanted to fight over $105

I thought I wouldn’t like it either because I love AC. But I went ahead and got this game and I absolutely love it. There is so much to it and it’s really fun to decorate and do all the tasks. They also do a lot of updates. I think this game has years of content coming. I’m not even a Disney fan and I love the game.

I've seen enough on this game for me not to want to play it at it's current price.. I don't like Sims & this at least to me seems more like that then AC which I love
I absolutely love Disney but I also very much dislike Gameloft so there's alot of reasons for me not to get this game walking animations, not being free like it was promised (also being overpriced imo), being developed by the greedy Gameloft (see Disney Speed Storm for example), Energy bar...
@@wildfya6657 I love animal crossing. This game is exactly like animal crossing. It has all the same mechanics. The only difference is you can move around freely. ☺️
Also…their is over a years worth of content included in that price…plus we get free updates every 2 months with new characters. We never got that in animal crossing. Nintendo completely abandoned the game. It’s also not overpriced. It has way more content than animal crossing…and that game is $60.00
