Yes, the EVs are great in the cities along the coasts if you stay in town. Travel is extended by 2 to 3 hours a day to recharge. The tech is still not there and giivernment does not care.

We have an EV, the cheapest model which means it charges slower and has a lower range and we took it to Vancouver last year and it was a great trip. And to charge fully from about 20%, it took 45 minutes. During which time we walked the dog, went to lunch, checked out the towns we were stopped in or had a coffee in a few nice little coffee shops. @@bradvansteinburg2962
@@ddhqj2023 What do you think they burn to generate the power EVs require to charge their batteries? How much diesel do you think is burned to produce the minerals required for these EVs? Only the ignorant think that EVs are the solution to pollution. Coupled with the fact that EVs have to be thrown away in 8-10 years because new batteries cost as much as a new EV (in the case of Ionic 6 they actually cost more than a brand new vehicle) the pollution from EVs is going to be just as bad if not worse. Additionally, Canada doesn't really matter in the fight against climate change. We are a net carbon sink. The liberals have fooled you into paying more taxes. Wake up!
