    I rented a 45’ Country Coach back in 2007 from Goss RV. Got to work directly with Ken Goss and the experience was fantastic!

    Great video and very informational. I met these guys a few years back at the Fort Lauderdale boat show.
    One suggestion Andrew, is you need to up your audio game in your videos. A few more well placed lapel mics or a boom mic would make them 1 million times better 👍

    Ummm most of those won’t fit in national park campground it’s a good business model for stuff like nascar races and concerts but they can’t just claim oh you take this on national park road trip maybe within 20 minutes of one but inside the park the roads are really really narrow and Zions has tunnels so you can only take certain roads it’s not that simple for the bigger class As …..

    • @gossrvinc.712
      @gossrvinc.712 Год назад

      Great point...we typically set clients up with a tow car. We station the RV at a preferred RV resort as close to the national park as possible...clients are then able to take the tow car into the parks that are inaccessible to larger coaches.

    I know that they probably have to provide a driver, and if I had a Prevost coach in the fleet, I would probably insist that Goss provide the driver, but as a customer, I would not want a driver if I was taking an RV vacation.

    I don't get why you would rent a coach like this, and not drive it yourself!!! For that money, you can fly first class, stay in a 4*, and rent a luxury car or limos all day and night. Must be some kinda disconnect in my head. Don't understand the half-RV-ing experience...

      30k a week sounds about right. A 7 day cruise costs about that much for their top, level suites. Yes you can easily find better value, but at these prices it’s more about the lack of hassle. Instead of booking a plane, hotel, limo, etc yourself (and that’s assuming the location has these amenities), Goss provides a coach and a concierge driver that takes care of everything for you. Same goes for top tier cruising (suite + butler to book shows and excursions + all food and most drink included). It’s even why people are willing to pay 5k annual fee for an Amex Centurion

      Why would you want to have the strain of driving tired, risk of crashing a bus that isn't yours, hurting someone... Driving in a rolling house is the best way to view the country. Its a road trip with absolute comfort. This is for highend people. This is not for gearheads to have fun playing bus driver. I definitely do get the want to drive, i wouldn't want to have a person on the trip with me.

    So, where do the “coach operators” sleep?

    • @gossrvinc.712
      @gossrvinc.712 Год назад +4

      Great question - we typically add a 'tow car' to the motorcoach when the driver option is added. Once the Coach Operator gets the client set up and prepared for the night, the coach operator will take the tow car to a nearby hotel until the client is ready to roll the next morning.

    • @gossrvinc.712
      @gossrvinc.712 Год назад

      Thanks for inquiring. When the professional coach operator option is added, we typically add a tow car as well. The coach operator will get the client and coach settled and prepared for the night - and will then take the tow car to the nearest hotel, airbnb or campsite. We structure agendas/driving days/miles covered to allow the coach operator to be a reasonable distance to drive to nightly accommodations if the client destination is remote. We have never encountered an instance where a coach operator is unable to find lodging.
