Tijuana is closer to me, I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area, but lately I've heard a lot of horror stories about the police in Tijuana and corruption....I have a penpal down there, she is in the state of Sonora as well, right now my plan would be to fly down to her city directly and just meet with her there, crossing over land seems not as wise. :)
