- On September 11, 2001 Lauren Manning suffered burns on 80% of her body and was only given a 18% chance of surviving. But Lauren has not only survived, she has thrived.

This woman is an absolute doll……………….!!!!!! P.S. You know in thinking about her baby's name Jager, I'm reminded of Mick Jager in hearing that her husband was a musician and had a 'garage band' with friends, donated one of his favorite guitars to him which he played once and then put it on display. Small gesture, maybe, tremendous show of love I think! Nice name, 'Jager!'

Chaz Chavara Right?? I’ve remembered her & her story since it was first publicly documented within all the survivors of 9/11!! It blew my mind then & now it REALLY does, seeing how far she’s come. She is such a lovely woman & her recovery is astounding. Not only her physical recovery & how beautiful she is but how positive & joyful she seems through it all. It’s one of the most amazing stories of survival I’ve ever heard about.
She is beautiful and strong. God gave her and us a second chance!!

I am sure Lauren is sick of every man and his dog telling her how brave she is but if you ever read this Lauren thanks for getting me through a sticky period if I have a bad day I think of you and feel embarrassed at moaning about lifes comparative trivialities.

What injuries? I've seen burn victims with over 80% and their faces hands and feet are always burnt, this story is total malarkey in my opinion.
Hey shithead, you know this interview was 12 years after she was burned. She probably went thru hell to get to how she looks, with numerous skillful plastic surgeries
@@raraparuka Thank you for speaking up .You are more than correct! Lauren and her story is all too real to me. I volunteered in the hospital where Lauren (and others) made their recovery. Lauren is the bravest human being I have ever met. She will forever be my greatest inspiration and my greatest hero
