General rules:
Only 4 dinos of a kind for bossing
Can only tame dinos for which I have the level required for the saddle
Every 10 days a wheel is spun
I have to name my dinos based on someone from my community
Punishments odds: (days: 5 to 9) (Scrambled Death: 10% - 20% - 30%)
Wheel Spin Punishments:
No Fly Zone: Can’t use Flyers for X amount of days
Ammo Ban : No use of Firearms for X amount of days
Hands off: Cant grab loot drops for X amount of days
Scrambled Death : Kill a random dino I own
Antisocial: Cannot Tame Dinos for X amount of days
Resource Swap : Lose X basic resource of my choice, but gain half as much of X basic resource of my choice
Dumpster : Toss X percent of X resource
Heavy Breathing : Next 10 levels go into Oxigen
Veganism : Go Vegan for X amount of days
Migration : Musst move base location (can still use crafting structures)

Man…I feel you. Had this happen on an old game with a friend. We tried getting wyvern eggs, but we lost a griffin and died multiple times. Flying back to our base, a thylacoleo yanked me off from my griffin all the way down from a mountain, a plains area and onto a coastline. I respect and fear those bastards from now on lol
Edit: You suffered enough in that play through. You should make the wheel offer buffs or good things to happen. Half the good and bad
classic thylas that is one of the main reasons I bring a pump shotgun with me at all times to blast them if it ever did occur again
I would have watched HOURS of this ! (guess I sort of did) Congrats on going fulltime, but with content like this you have nothing to be scared about. The concept of the wheel was so well-used in this video, and I really liked the fact that you knew neither the map itself nor the Additional Creatures modded dinos. I don't use Paranoia so I never had to encounter a Sadistic Spaghetti, are they tameable ? That would have been hilarious.
So, in which map devoid of redwoods are we sending you next time ?

Its awesome seeing a newer player tackle valguero. Maybe next time, vanilla playthrough? It will help you learn as a ark player. Here are some tips for you
You cannot fly into most caves in this game. This is why you was dismounted at aberration cave.
The lamprey will stop radiation posion. Its like a leech found in the swamp inside aberration cave. This will help you get those red gems.
You can take leeches and lamprey off by using the action wheel while looking at your dino. ( if you have a leech just walk up to your feather raptor and pull up the action wheel and press "remove leech" option.
Many other things I can list after watching this, but who wants to read a book.

Oh the gigas destroying everything.. I know that feeling too well. My girlfriend and I both decided to start on Ragnarok and found a beautiful place to build. So we gathered and built up a place. Tamed some dinos to protect our place in case anything got in. At the time we only saw carnos so we tamed some carnos and raptors to hold out the night. Logged back on to find a 130 giga killed everything and destroyed our entire wood base. Square one found a new place an moved what we had left, as we set up a 80 giga killed us and what tamed we had left after finding another beautiful location. Gigas give me ptsd now whenever I see one. Might get additional Dino mods now after watching this. Keep up the great work crow, and positive vibes an attitude.

in my opinion this mod depicts what ark should be or at least what ark II can be. Just a massive amount of dinosaurs each with their own abilities or characteristics to keep the game interesting. I miss the times where i was unsure what a dinosaur was and how to proceed next. Loved the vid and can't wait for more.
ark 2 surely will be interesting, I hope at least, with bigger servers and more details it should be better. I just hope that they do in fact add more ways to interact with your tames rather than attack, follow, i.e along with new interesting dinos

From When it was uploaded, it was a Great Ark video as usual Crowmeda, Absolutely love your 100 days vids. I do have a recommendation for mods though
1. Ark hidden assets
It adds in the creatures that were never added originally to ark that are all around amazing
2. Ark additions: The collection
Many but not too many creatures that are cool and unique but all around are good for 100 days and to have cool dinos, very ideal. I recommend to check them out yourself of course to make the game more fun

Everytime he spins the wheel, you can hear the sorrow and pain in his voice and it's so sad to me. Idk y it's just a game, a really good one, but the pain... oof. My heart aches for the pain this man puts himself through
Neat to see you going full time man! I really think you can pull it off and I'm rooting for you. Looking forward to seeing more stuff, especially more interesting challenges. If you do another punishment wheel-style challenge, I would suggest making them a little less soul crushing: like not being able to tame for 7 days in a game about taming dinos. I get hindering progress is the point, but if it translates into just waiting for a clock to run out that's not a whole lot of fun. Maybe something more silly like, next one you can only tame using the frog's lick attack, or having to go underwater pearl diving naked/without scuba. Then it's a hurdle instead of a brick wall for progress, ya know?
And for the record, the flyer that spooked you in the beginning? The Phosphatodraco? The best modded dino period (imo), I actually find playing ARK without it suffering. It's a flyer you can harvest from without dismounting and it's pretty fast, it just needs to level weight to really shine. Plus it frees up tame slots you'd otherwise spend on an Argie and dedicated gatherers like anky, doedic, beaver, etc. Life changing QoL dino, highly recommended if you use the mod again.

40:17 the reason your argy dissapeared is because it wasnt a vanilla argy, it was a modded argy. And idk if you could at the time of the video, but now you can just enable speed leveling on flyers in ark using a config.

You can get around the veganism bit by not only harvesting the Veggies but making a custom recipe and adding element dust. Even better if you can get into the abberation cave, the entrance is empty, and get mushrooms for the recipes.
Also you need mushrooms to make the anti-radiation mushroom stew so you can get the redgems.
This is a great video keep up the good work! I especially love the concept of the wheel and the punishments.

Also regarding the carry problem, if this is a single player game you have to most likely put the startup setting with -AllowFlyerCarryPVE=true in the launchoptions
