I think he was attempting to lure Venom into that warehouse where he set up a trap. I'd guess extracting a sample of the symbiote would require Eddie to be untrasnformed, as his blood contains its DNA.

Beetle Is underrated
Definitely. He's a villain that deserves and could definitely pull off a live action appearence. Perhaps his time will come once Disney puts the Fantastic Four into the MCU, and we get to see more of Latveria.
@@minihalkoja590 Believe it or not, the most recent Beetle, Janice Lincoln, has made an appearance as part of Mysterio's group.
Maybe she could return as the Beetle or try one of the other ones like the Ultimates one.

I would lose so many of these chase missions as a kid, because I thought you had to fight them too. Until I be realized you fight them later not during the chase.
