- This week it's a CONSTABLE LANA TAKEOVER! Based out south in the neighbourhood policing team in Clendon, Auckland - Lana picks up the camera and takes us through her shift week. Any questions - fire away! (+ don't fret - Constable Hurn will be back!)
She's not only pretty but she has a great humour also.
russian president why are you here lil boy. Go away
@@Stillchannel22 😂😂😂😂😂
@@russianpresident4784 Ok sir, obviously you don't understand what your talking about and you haven't done any research. I don't know what country your from, but in NewZealand we don't speak like that to anyone but especially to our bravest.
You guys should mix up the vlogs between Constable Hurn and Lana. Both have awesome perspectives 👌
Gender equality aye hahahaha
Just Lana Plz
Did real good in front of the camera. your intermission information, like about the speed cameras etc was really interesting. keep doing that!!!
Grooves ahaha groove, what are the odds of seeing you here🤖
@@ryang2190 learning all I can before applying my guy XD

Crime rates increase in New Zealand due to Lana being a cop LOL 😂😂😂
Nz police officers are the kindness in the world they try to help in anyway they can she’s a example of them

She is really beautiful and smart police...
She has to take police of the year award awesome job officer God bless NZ
I just watch these cause they real entertaining
Naturally I found this extremely entertaining. Cheers from your blue brother in Kentucky US
how do the cops there compare to new zealand?
Dr Bass don't know. I would love to ride with them a few months and find out.
You should come and find out for yourself you'd freak out for the fact that our Police officers don't go around shooting people for the most dumbest reasons that they could possibly think of. Our Police here in Aotearoa a.k.a New Zealand are respectful and show alot of compassion towards other people even when someone has gone out of their way to try abuse our Officers they still manage to hold their composure and they definitely deserve their respect as Police Officers as it's not something they demand but that they've earned on a daily. I'm no saint and have stuffed thing's up for myself with the law numerous amount of times but one of my nieces is a frontline officer and my daughter wants to be a Police officer so i fully Tautoko them. (Tautoko which is the Māori translation word for support). 1 love to our New Zealand Police force you guy's really do make a difference to our Land ka mau te wehi Kia ora.
@@realpolicetalk Pack up the family and come over, its too rough over there.
Dale Mehana not too rough for me I love it.
I really appreciate and put my hands up to young women in the police force, you have strength being in your job,
Excellent video, especially for your first time. Very interesting to see the behind the scenes things that go on in the police station. I can definitely see how the tattoos would help you identify with people. I know from past volunteer experience that some people can be nervous approaching police. Also that while priority one driving can look like fun and can induce a bit of adrenaline, it is also a big responsibility as if you have an accident that is your fault you are still fully responsible.
Lana, what you are doing is great. Please educate people through your blog. Thanks!
It’s good that the vlog back love the video your a natural at vlogging hope to see you back thanks so much for the video
That was really good vlog 😀
Wasn't sure when I seen no Constable Hurn, but I pushed through and watched the video. Well done. Pretty cool for your first time vloging! Very young, but great to see you love going to work. And getting involved in the community. Keep it Up

Great vlog guys keep them coming 👍👍👍
I'm almost 13 and for as long as i can remember I've always wanted to be a police officer. I have looked up to my uncle Mark.D he is a police officer and has been in the job for quite some time now. So it's cool having someone in the family in the job that I want to do.
Nobody same
Thank you so much for your wonderful vlog police👍🏼
That's so awesome! . I wouldn't mind becoming a police officer ay
I'm from America and really want to move to New Zealand. Can I become a cop if I get Citizenship there?
Judge IDredd yes
I dont know how this popped up in my mentions but i like it.I watched this from start to finish.Ive always been fascinated by the steering wheel being on the left instead of right side.I think if i ever tried driving a car like that id be scared. The girl in the video she is such a beauty.shes silly and funny from the looks of the video.New zeland cops seem like fun I bet it would be cool to visit new zeland.
So inspiring 👌
Wahine Toa proud Maori I'm impressed very professional love it, all my friends and Whanau will definitely pursue a career in the police force, thank you💖
Excellent Vlog. I did find all the one handed driving distracting and worrying. While not against the law it is recommended. Lead by example.
Our team in blue are trained to serve and protect the community, who in the same token will protect our people in blue...I wish I had taken a more positive direction in life...all that aside...I wish more can be done to help and protect our people in blue, God bless them 🙏
Best Vlog, great work Constable Crichton 😊
0:17 awwww she's gorgeous😍😍😍good morning from Christchurch
Simply Rise are you alright from the attack
She's my auntie
As an officer in the States it’s weird not seeing a squad computer or cage for the back seat to do secure transport for suspects in custody. Can dispatch push call updates/notes digitally onto phones or does everything need to be broadcast on the radio. Additionally can officers conduct vehicle registration and driver license checks from their car without having to call it through dispatch? All in all it’s a good VLOG series and interesting to see what’s the same or different in other countries.
Awesome Lana enjoyed every minute !!
Big ups to her 👏🏼👏🏼 enjoyed this vlog alot. I want to be a cop now because of her 😂😂
Amazing vlog, and I thought you did well Lana.
Inspiration for our people. All the best
You did a good job with volg. Keep up the good work.
You are awesome x one thing i noticed is that in NZ police cars you don't have anything to separate the driver from the suspect in the back, like a guard or protective screen or something like in the US or other countries. From an officer safety point of view.
Im trying to go for the police here in Western Australia, Good vlog btw
Getting 10k in the first 2 days is quite good being new
Looks like a professional way to hold the steering wheel while driving, good work NZ Police! 1:41
Love it! Cool to see different police in different areas. Im from Rewa too!!.
Hey hey I from New Zealand keep it up and keep us all safe
Graduated police college at 19 and working for about 3 years now. Currently 22 waow.
Great job Lana! I’d love to see more vlogs from you since Constable Hurn is out at the moment. Keep up the great work and enjoy your job!
Smashed it. Good job Lana!
You are awesome! X
Love the vid😀 I'm from Australia and visited NZ And some NZ police are brilliant
Awesome vlog, I really enjoy watching them😀👍
so nice to see you
encourage my kids to be a cop need more Polynesian people in there
Do you think you got treated different because you joined at a young age? Like in terms of in the workplace but then also with offenders? Or was there not much difference would you say?
@William Solia I gave a thumbs up to your comment, but I do think 17 is a bit young, army is different to Police, Police really have to think on their feet. I don't think a 17 year old has the compassion to rationalize a volatile situation. Where a soldier is more or less unleashed into a situation, like, do what I showed you.
@William Solia wrong, it depends how mature you are and your life experiences, the youngest you can apply is 18, I've known poeple be accepted at the age of 18 and poeple be turned away at the age of 20 for not having enough life experience
I’ve always been curious, I have 2 questions.
1: how do you know when a radio call is for you specifically?
2: Can you activate your lights and sirens on your steering wheel?
@haimona tipene . They have call signs that are used for each specific units which is assigned to them. Your second question I'm not too sure about. I don't think so. But I think you can activate the radio as I said not fully sure
Yes to the 2nd question theres buttons on the steering wheel
Awesome vlog!! Good sending out good vibes of our police!!
Not to sound rude as this was still a great vlog and I enjoyed the different perspective, but what happened to Constable Hurn? Is he no longer doing the Vlogs?
As for tips on the vlogs for Lana, would be good to see more body cam style footage mixed in when dealing with people (When possible, and blurring faces obviously)
Great vlog none the less. Cheers.
Constable Hurn is back in a couple of weeks! But expect to see a lot more different faces here on the channel :)
Omg i love this. Was looking into joining the police force last year. These vlogs are amazing! Keep up the awesome mahi guys. Cant wait for more vids 😍💪
