The English love their afternoon tea, and like the oft-used cliche goes, when in Rome… you know the rest. So we decided to partake of a tea ritual at the Taj, which involved a harmonious tasting of three teas paired meticulously with an array of finger sandwiches, pastries and scones, all tailored to a unique theme in a cozy setting. Something to certainly explore when in London.

We can't afford to experience these luxuries, but we can feel it watching your vlogs. Thank you for bringing it to us.
Definitely not . Next year you will definitely go and eat
Greetings from England. Have a great day everyone!
Good to see a new country and experience it through your video. Thank you!
Lovely looking ambience at the TAJ with great service offered. Enjoy your stay in London with your wife and bring back pleasant memories of yours to Bharat
Good visual content.
dramatic tea and heavy pricing too (£100++ for 2 !) ! this is very British thing!
What an awesome video.
Several items that I admired
I admired how you could indulge in delicious treats without bothering about a knife, fork, or spoon. Many find it scary, especially those who are not accustomed to dining at such opulent establishments.
When they were explaining the honey and its specialties, Sri Mams expression was wonderful.
The lovely verse in kannada between Sunaina and Sri Mam.
Last but not least, I also enjoyed the exquisitely presented sandwiches and pastries. Even without eating, the pastries made me feel overindulgent in sweetness.
I don't drink tea, but the sight and feel of the many teas supplied were fantastic.
Thanks for Sharing these delicacies
Kripal amazing Tea Ritual Drinking 🙂enjoyed looking at the Vlog 🙂
Awesome awesome Vlog ❤
Nothing can beat our good old idli, dose, vade, chow chow bath, rice preparations,Anna saaru. After so many flash delicacies our Kripal will be craving for good old South Indian food.
Ok. Don't eat anything except dose idly
@@rahul_d1401he didn't mean that
Yes exactly we can only related to our own food
Not necessary ...It's all about experiencing other traditions. Btw in the UK you won't find a shortage of Indian food stores and restaurants
@@soumendash3911nope you are wrong

Amazing experience at Taj london with high tea the way they serve while explaining each and every small detailing hat's off to them thank you kripal sir for such a beautiful vlog❤
💖 i have shared this particular vlog to my daughter who had finished her study now working there 🤗
Wonderful video.
Glad you enjoyed it
Remembered my London visit!
Nice!
You should have tried Victoria sponge cake and trifle…that’s what Britain is known for!!!
The hostess with a British accent would have been appropriate 😀
You are really living it up Kripal!!
A special memory I have is when my mom and I went for Afternoon Tea at the Ritz. We chose to go there because we thought it would be the closest thing to having tea at the palace. The level of luxury was beyond what I expected. As someone who enjoys luxurious experiences, it was almost overwhelming. There were always at least four servers nearby and they were quick to refill anything that was finished. It was a bit intense, but a truly unforgettable experience. I also had the pleasure of experiencing Afternoon Tea at Hotel Cafe Royal in the Oscar Wilde Room, which was absolutely perfect. Thank you, Amigo, for sharing a beautiful TEATIME with your family. Take care, Stay blessed and happy. Sending good vibes your way from Canada.
That sounds like a very special experience, thank you for sharing. 🙏
You chose the Devon method instead of the Cornish method for the schone! There has always been old ongoing debate in uk on which goes first, cream or jam! @ 11:19
I had no idea of these methods, thank you for enlightening me.
Wow! I'm thoroughly enjoying the London series. Sir, if possible do meet Rishi Sunak, it'll be amazing!
Have an amazing time in London! Stay blessed ♥️🙏🏽💐

Hi
Visit MTR first offshore branch in London
Hello Kripal, While you are in London , perhaps you may want to visit Murugan Temple in East Ham (78-90 Church Rd, London E12 6AF, United Kingdom). I do understand it’s a bit weird suggestion for someone visiting London as tourist :) - but trust me, it’s worth a visit. I think especially your wife will love that temple. That place has such positive vibrations that I make London visit just for that (from Brussels).
There are also quite a few nice sea food (Kerala based) restaurants in East Ham (not fancy ones though) - I am sure you would like to cover them via food blog :)
T.
Hello! I am not in London at the moment, but hope to return in the near future. Will certainly try to explore some of the suggestions. Thank you.
Whatever it is you can never beat the "chetta kadai boiler tea" that's legend with some parampoli😀

Hi kripal sir
Is it a tasting menu??
This is the standard Secret Garden tea menu.
Do a video on taj Mumbai High tea
I have many memories from the Sea Lounge at The Taj Mahal Mumbai. Hope to do the high tea there some day.
Good afternoon dear Kripal - Wishing you and your family a Happy Ganesh Chathurthi 🙏 Wow what a beautiful story behind the menu of a tea . Oh wow where did the paper butterfly arrive inside the menu . I have never ever seen such an elaborate explanation by the hotel staff on the pairing of Tea with either a savoury or a dessert . Lot happening indeed . The container that was unlocked by Boss Marie contained world of goodie cookies and chocolate ( key shaped ) . This is a wonderful experience . Rose Gin and tonic with tea ( unique combo ) . Brilliant presentation of the Salmon and Avocado 🥑. Every dish is presented in an elegant way . This tray of sandwiches and desserts itself looks like a Secret Garden . I admire you for respecting Sunaina’s privacy 💯💯 Small portions of the sandwiches . I didn’t quite get the name of the egg sandwich . Ultra beautiful presentation of the desserts 🍮. Chamomile tea is one of my favourites. Boss’s outfit matching the theme of the restaurant (Floral ) . Scones are also my favourite. Is the preserve similar to marmalade ? Finally ending your indulging Hi-Tea with a green tea . Loved the way Sree spoke in Tamil on the birthday celebrations 👌👌 Hats off to Iskra for the way she engaged you with an informative conversation about the whole Hi-Tea experience. Fabulous Vlog and thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the virtual Hi-Tea experience. Looking forward to the next Vlog when THE KING is travelling all the way from Buckingham Palace to meet the Boss 😀 Wishing you all a wonderful festive season . Take care , stay healthy and God bless . Heartiest congrats to Sunaina, once again , for her graduation degree . Loads of love and respect 💯🙏🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️
That butterfly was an interesting talk point in the menu, very clever. The egg one was a pinwheel sandwich. Yes, the next vlog should be interesting as well, a bit outdoorsy. Stay tuned. 🙃
There goes Kripal's diet
haha!
Good change from your Dosa, Idli , Vada boring blogs.
Try to acquire British Posh accent perhaps it will add value to your channel development.
🙄 No thanks! 🙏 🙃
@gopalashetty3592, value comes from what you feel about yourself. It does not come from accent or language. Kannada is as posh as English when spoken by the right person
Why is a soviet waitress serving you in London…so bizarre
The High Tea was a bit underwhelming. Too much sweet stuff rather than savoury. There are savoury tarts etc besides sandwiches. Even simple cucumber sandwiches with cream cheese would do well.
Personally, yes, an additional savoury item would have been interesting, although we were quite full at the end of it and the teas did well to wash some of the sweet excess. However, when we looked around, we found that most afternoon teas tend to have more sweet than savoury perhaps because of the fact that it's consumed in between meals.
