ILPA Boat Repair Tutorial with EPOXY PUTTY, EPOXY VETROKIT, and PUTTY GEL COAT

In this tutorial we’re going to repair an old boat with hull damage due to a collision with a rock.
We are going to use three products by ILPA from the LEVANTE product line, specific for boating: EPOXY PUTTY, EPOXY VETROKIT, and PUTTY GEL COAT. Each of these three products can also be used alone for their intended purpose, with excellent results.
LEVANTE EPOXY PUTTY is a two-component putty with excellent filling potential; it is ideal for the reconstruction of damaged or broken parts. This is a very light-weight product, specifically designed for the shipyards’ needs; very suitable for not weighing down the hull. LEVANTE EPOXY PUTTY is a fine, soft mixture and it can be applied on different materials, including aluminium, glass, plastic and wood; It is very easily spread and sanded. At an average room temperature, after four or five hours from the application, the LEVANTE EPOXY PUTTY can be sanded and finished with any kind of paint.
The LEVANTE EPOXY VETROKIT is ideal for repairing materials such as plastic or fiberglass, it allows one to cover the damaged area and to reconstruct the missing parts. Its ease of use makes it suitable for both professional and d.i.y. use.
The LEVANTE PUTTY GEL COAT is a two-component putty available in 200 gr or 500 gr cans. It is applied as a common putty, but the final result is a shiny and polished paint effect. With LEVANTE PUTTY GEL COAT it is possible to repair small cracks with just one product: The LEVANTE PUTTY GEL COAT works as a putty and as paint at the same time, which is quite time saving.
