I hope this video does not come across as me bragging about anything. These are my genuine thoughts which I was having up until one day before counselling and many other people that I spoke to were also going through the same thing.
I just wanted to make this video to share these thoughts and to keep you guys updated about what is going on!
Also I respect every single branch that I have mentioned in this video and also those which I haven’t mentioned. We all have different priorities which influence our decision-making process.

I was regretting taking Radiology for PG, during the 1st two years....but , now having completed two years of Senior Residency, I really feel thankful of taking up Radio (cause I had that choice) and not my dream branches of Medicine or OBGY. If you get a chance to learn Radiology, don't let it go by.
Got to learn the basics of CxR and US interpretation from you and other resident dadas in those early morning UG classes in the dept. back in 2019 at SSKM.❤
So grateful, that you still remember and acknowledge our little efforts...😌
What literally changes in SR 2 rather than workload that changes ur perception if I may ask !! Must be flourishing money frm pfv practice 😊
@@boneless8323 I did try to explore private practice field, but wasn't satisfied with the kind of life it offered! The financial satisfaction was there, won't deny that. But, the thrill of learning was missing. We were told repeatedly by our faculties that we should invest as much time as we could in the department, so that we learn...but, was too much influenced by the peer pressure of earning more and more, to pay any heed to that. But, things started changing as were given more responsibilities by the dept which included teaching the PGTs and not just catering to the general duties. That's when I discovered the true joy in Radiology while I was trying to teach my juniors, but ended up learning lot more from THEM.

As per pvt practice I can see everyone is doing medicine practice except MD Medicine pass out who is looking for a DM seat to make himself distinct among other's 🥴

u are not privileged u have worked hard to be in this position that u can choose anything u want and not sacrifice or compromise on your choices so own it we have been with u and will continue to do so. do share the pros and cons with us and also do let us know the closing ranks for each branch if possible. congrats and kudos to u

Rewatched this video after 1 year post my drop year , before my choice filling this year to make me feel valid. Life seems to be on a run mode mam. Anxiety is constant these days and I don't sleep much too! But hope one day I'll look ahead and I know I'll be alright :)

MD Pulmonary medicine...dont opt for it it has been removed from NMC list as essential dept.

Hello! For ophthalmology i had made diagrams in my notes. For all the instruments I used marrow pearls. And patho slides ke liye there were 2 videos on marrow of histopathology. I watched these. I think even Zainab ma’am has all these pictures ke videos on youtube which are very high yield. You may refer to those too

Congratulations maam I’m mbbs 3rd year student and i have read some articles regarding how an ai is diagnosed disease through radio pictures and x ray and its in training and reinforcement process currently and im wondering isn’t it will be taken by ai in next 5 year and im worried for that bcz i too was initially thought radio as good option but whats ur thoughts maam

Di I want to ask about bond in Maharashtra.. Are students supposed to do 1 yr social service compulsory or gov does not assign them as such duty? Pls confirm...Di ur all seniors have been assigned social service for 1 year or it's only for few students and if u r selected for pg then what?
Hey! In maharashtra, Senior residency in government hospitals also counts for your bond. I think During and after covid they were assigning random rural posts for bond service because more doctors were needed in periphery. But now you can continue senior residency again for bond

Im preparing for neet rn and fr I've thought same like i would do radiology or paediatric or medicine not sugeryy and im so confusedd like to do mbbs or not cause even if i do mbbs neet pg is so hard and getting in radiology too cause theres lot of competition and less seats and i want a gov college and i I've thought to just work in gov hospitals not own private clinic and theres lot of questions in my head regarding this like our personal life till studing of after md would we get time for all this too..?idk I've just so many questions...just felt like to write after this so..if anyone wants to tell me something regarding thiss you can..
It’s a shame that we are still indefinite about our branch till the last day of counselling. Choosing a branch is all about how passionate we are towards a certain branch.

Hi di I Am a neet aspirant , daily I just start studying after coming from coaching but could not keep it up with it as I always ended up falling asleep can u pls tell me how to avoid sleep and not to feel pressured for monthly test ?

Hey! I assume you’re talking about NEET UG?
It’s okay to take a nap after coaching, your mind needs rest. But instead of sleeping while studying, you should plan to nap or do whatever helps you relax once you come back from coaching for about 1 hour. That’s what I used to do.
Then after waking up once your mind is fresh, now you can focus well and study for longer periods of time.
The monthly test pressure is necessary. We used to have weekly tests. The tests are necessary to study with motivation.
But remember the tests are there for your own assessment. You have to look at them as tools to identify your weak areas and then study those topics or practice those specific MCQs more than others.
I have made the mistake of not reviewing my tests in 11th and 12th. You should not repeat that. Look at these tests as a method of improvement. Once you shift your perspective towards the tests like this, your marks and studies will improve automatically.

Hey! As residents spend all their time in the hospital premises for 3 years, I thought at least for the time being it will be wise to not share my hospital name and keep it private for sometime. RUclips is new to me but I want to be on the safer side.
You're not coming to Delhi?
No 🥲 staying closer to family might make residency a bit easier is what I felt. And the college that I have chosen is quite good for radiology so I did not see any reason to go to another state.
What is your take on AI will replace radio and derma?
Why not LHMC or safdarjung or mamc?
