Incident Command System for the Fire Service. We are constantly hearing the question: "How does Incident Command Service work in our service?"
Stay until the end to see what happens when an incident exceeds the site response.
To address this question we developed a video-based scenario to help. In this 25 minute video we walk you through a scenario (based loosely on an actual event) so that you may better see how an incident might unfold using ICS.

I'm a new firefighter that fell into opportunities for quick moments through the ICS/NIMS trainings. I'm taking the Ops Section Chief this week and needed to gain the big picture but from a view that I can relate to. This video was beautiful put together. Your explanations along the way and revisiting of the org chart was perfect and kept my brain operating in a proper capacity due to feeling like I was informed and along for the ride. If I'm ever instructing I will use your technique of revisiting the expansion of the incident to keep students up to speed. The other big takeaway(since I'm on the Ops side), was that it was a smart move to make the initial IC the Ops Lead since they have the most info and have seen the expansion of the incident from the beginning. I agree and think this gives them many different metrics to make decision while conducting operations. Thanks again, I'm subscribed and will be looking into more of your content as I dive further. Keep it coming! Thanks so much from Cordova, Alaska!

You repeat yourself to much.
Since this is online repetition and review of key concepts is more important than in-class. Thank you for the feedback.
@@DarylDBlack great presentation! The repetition is helpful for students to understand key concepts of IMS 100, which, as an introductory course, is essential to those learning the language of IMS.
