Though Trade IQs teaching setup is very straightforward and relatively easy to understand, I use the word relatively because TradeIQ like many other educational trading channels assume that most viewing understand the basics of the platform and standard indicators when covering strategy examples. In regards to setting alerts on tradingview there are many videos on RUclips that are dedicated to that so look around, but in my opinion, because indicators can have a bunch of different components that vary, one of the best methods to learn alerts for them is to drop to very low timeframes and set alerts for the indicator of your choice on the lower timeframes. That way you’ll get a feel for it and you won’t have to wait too long to see if you set it correctly or not, the 1min timeframe is great for alert testing. Hope that helps.
@Ahshan Dhrubo that’s because is a “Visible Range” indicator. Meaning it’s intended to change based on the distinctive range your viewing so basically it’s on you to sight a good range whereas a “Fixed Range” indicator will automatically detect a range. So your 2 options are to either learn how to sight a range or use another indicator with a fixed range like Volume Profile and Volume Indicator by DGT, or Smart Money Concepts Probability and match your zoom to the detected ranges. @@blissbane8448 Don't know how I didn't get a notification for it but thanks for the reply. I haven't yet started to search online for alerts as I am still learning indicators ( historical ones for now and after maybe moving into orderflow) and testing a bit Pinescript in writing some basic indicators ( more of a combination of 3 into 1). When I was mentioning alerts I was thinking that maybe there is a way to have all 3 indicators setup accordingly in 1 alert and not have 3 alerts, one each for indicators. If you have any courses/material to recommend that would be great. Thanks.

I back tested 25 trades on 5 minute gold and it did well. Other timeframes were bad. I couldn't get it to work on any timeframe on GJ. Also the supply demand bars generated by the lux algo indicator are different depending on how many candles are ON SCREEN. if you slide the candles to the left or right the supply/demand levels change. Very odd and very frustrating. Even when it worked on 5 minute gold the entries were otherwise apparent - they were mostly bounces off known levels with two large volume candles in the same direction or engulfing, etc. I thought it did a good job with exits on trades where moves broke past the subsequent support/ resistance but so do heiken ashi candles.
@@GreenBeetle I'm currently back testing a new strategy, so far over 50 trades with a 85% win rate in the 5, 15 and 30 min time frame, anything above that has only a 47% win rate, however it's still too early to say the 85 is consistent because it does horrible in the flat charts just like any other strategy, there's a lot of fake buy and sell signals, however, combining my tech analysis and the settings I've tested so far I can tell when the market is going to stay flat or it will go in a direction and I think thats why it has a 85% win rate because I'm helping the strategy partially with my tech analysis knowledge as well.

Pls PLS do a video on this and use your platform to let the TradingView community know that we do have a Delta Footprint chart option. This is hands down the best Footprint indicator on TradingView and the information it provides seriously changed the entire way I look at the market over 3 days and best of all it’s free and open source. Also Delta is notoriously used with a Volume Profile and sometimes VWAP, that’s also according to Chat GPT so if you did make a video about it with a strategy demonstration that’s just some food for thought. I know this is a big ask but TV ppl need to know about this and I’d love to hear your take on it. Great video as always btw, long time subscriber. Keep it up, these videos really help.

Thanks for considering a look. I just have to say personally, being able to see the trader activity “inside” the candles is incredible. A red candle loaded with bullish activity signaling a reversal point, a green candle that closed above the highlighted major bullish segment inside of the candle signaling a retracement to continuation entry point, all the info is there. My strategy development goal is to be able to scalp trade with $2500 at 20x = $50,000 on lower time frames on a daily basis and this indicator was able to show me that some of my crypto contracts are trading 15min candles that are only worth $50 of trading activity where as a pair like GALAUSDT is trading at millions per 15min candle so I could realistically expect to get orders filled with GALAUSDT knowing that. So many applications. Great indicator.
