I also wish clothes weren't gendered. I want cool, geeky graphic tees, but most stores sell them primarily in the men's section, and I always feel like I'm gonna be judged for shopping there :/
No one really cares if a girl dresses in boys clothing. But when a boy dresses more "feminine" it's seen as gay and weak. It's a double standard but I guess what I'm saying is no one will judge you too harshly as they would a guy who wears girl clothing

Then again, I also really want things to change for the sake of guys and trans/nonbinary people, cause they get a lot more crap for dressing how they want.
So? Are you buying those clothes for the people judging you or for yourself? Why bother pondering over what everyone else thinks. Removal of the female and male clothes sections would be counterproductive. In case you haven't realised it yet, men and women are of different size, and thus we need that clothing partition; dislodging it would be rather baffling and unnecessary, not to mention that the male fashion trends aren't singular with the female fashion trends, which would only add to the confusion. If a person wishes to buy a piece of clothing not available in their gender's section of the shop, they should just man up and obtain it from the opposite gender's clothing section; it's not rocket science. People need to realise that confidence is not an optional trait, it's an imperative requirement of a successful career and a core asset of a self-aware and content person. You can't have everything handed to you on a silver platter.
Just do it girl. At the end of the day you're happier

i can't even do it myself anymore it takes me like 2 hours so i just splurge and spend $10 at the nail shop
+Jordan A. small neighborhood nail shops (at least the ones that i go to, i'm on the USA east coast) usually charge like $10-$12 for a standard manicure. deluxe is usually around $25
It makes me so happy when Connor paints his nails! Gender roles are way too emphasized, and so many people are afraid of not having a category they fit into, and even if they know something is wrong, they don't do anything about it. Thanks Connor for being so honest and real!

you can always just paint one hand...it's a look
i feel like clothes shouldnt be gendered but more like, have the exact clothes, but still have a mens and womens section so you could know your size in those terms like we're used to or have like a chart in which it tells you how to convert a mans size into a womans size etc so you can buy without any boundaries except for size
Don't you think just keeping the division between the female and male clothes is sufficient for that cause? I mean sure, you won't see a sick skirt in the male section of the store, but the primary utility of the aforementioned division is not to baffle the customers looking for clothes fitting the size of their gender (whether they're male or female). Not to mention that there are certain trends in the male and female fashion industries, hence mixing all the clothing commodities would just add onto the mass confusion.
