@@thehiddenone470 Well Mexico was a big part of rdr1 and the fact hat you could literally go to another country was cool. I myself unfortunately didn't get to play rdr1 but I've heard the law was different there.
@@karolkos5915 I believe Mexico was actually supposed to be in RDR2 but they cut it out because the was becoming simply way too big and demanding.
@@jeremy_5754 On some video I've heard that Rockstar isn't working on Mexico right now for obvious reasons but that they might work on it later. Once they polish things in RDO and improve it.

I know Rockstar wants to focus on Online, but if they could just focus on map expansions like this for Story Mode AND Online, Online would be way more populair.

@@KingoftheApes Arthur was originally meant to go to NA, just an idea I came up with him going to Mexico. John wasn't ever supposed to be past West Elizabeth until 1911 anyways, yet we can still go through New Austin as him in Epilogue, so region locks for gameplay don't make sense regardless
@@Redemptify yeah that's my point, it doesn't make sense for John to be in New Austin at all, let alone Mexico, and why I'm saying fans would be pissed is if we got to go to Mexico for a chapter then it was locked off. Better not to have it at all.

They will probably try to resell the game later on new consoles like they did with gta 5, they might of even planned mexio as DLC, but they are lazy and probably put all their resources into the online modes. Modders could make this stuff for free in a couple weeks but rockstar would rather find a way to get the most money out of people.

I heard Rockstar was actually making Mexico but had to cut it short because of the release date
I've actually digged through a game file that has all locations names that appear when searching on the pause map and I found all the locations from Mexico, such as: Casa Madrugada, Escalera, Sepulcro etc.
@@robtz759 I think Rockstar is going re-release RDR2 for the PS5 and XSX like they did for GTA5 with extra content.
@@headshotmaster138 Nah, impossible because if they released a nothing new DLC recently for RDR Online, and released a big ass DLC for GTA Online, they aren't gonna rerelease RDR2 because it doesn't make money as much as GTA Online.

Undead nightmare is unplayable and red dead one could definitely use improvement.

I put this video on my watch later list and I fell asleep while going through the list with headphones on. I woke up by 2:30am In the middle of this video and the music just hit me in a different way. I was so in love with the game all over again. Huge thumbs up from me
The merchant area in chupurosa looks official. I think we just need better building items for non-wood materials

Its sad to see that rockstar became like Dutch, who needs "More Money" and that they didnt put mexico in the game, and unlimited bounty hunting like from the first game. Instead they focused on online mode.... Bless you modders for making content like this !

I'm so glad these modders took matters into their own hands. Sad that they have to do what Rockstar should of done in the first place. I wish Battlefield 5 had mod support like red dead 2. it would have become 10 times better. I still hope one day it does get mod support

I have badly wanted to take this on but between my unfamiliarity with the modding tools for rockstars engine, the massive undertaking, and my lack of any form of help I always stalled. If RDR2 was built in Bethesda's engine (via some form of magic wizardry) I would have modded a lot more than just mexico into the game. I would have Canada and maybe an underground tunnel through the earths crust filled with demons and what not.
Unfortunately my modding experience in rockstar games starts with modeling cars for San Andreas and ends with recoloring taillights in GTA5. I've actually gone backwards. I hope there are more in the works we don't know about that launch more complete. I know too well the sting of waiting years for a mod to get completed, only for many to never get finished.
If only Rockstar would release official (and somewhat comprehensive) modding tools for their single player experiences... but they don't really want us spending too much time in single player- they want us online buying gold bars.
Oh boy can't wait for Take 2 to take this down as soon as possible like they always do.

The north part of the map isn't Canada, they mention other US places like New York, Reno, Chicago, Texas, Luisiana

Only problems here is the railroad (if you boys had the idea of making it i found that very hard), those plants (idk if the plants that are trespassing the floors will be removed) and the lack of Mexicans NPC's. But this is lookings very very great

I lost hope in rockstar. It would be foolish to expect from a company to make a DLC containing a different map when they won't even bother to remove the annoying "put warmer clothes on" bug despite multiple complaints
they made the game remember? and they were going to add Mexico but had to cut it short, they also fixed the warm clothes glitch
Guarentee rockstar takes this down in a few weeks

This is straight up the coolests tuff I've seen, this makes me so excited! I'd love too be able too roam around Mexico, It woukd be so cool too gian back all the old locations, and if it's possible (probably not) have it completely working too! Gunstores, general stores, all that!!

why do people want Mexico so much? like yeah I played rdr1 and absolutely LOVED Mexico but some of the comments are starting to sound like people don't appreciate the already enormous map, and it isn't Mexico I'm that bothered with here, it's that people seem bothered with an already huge map, that's the part I don't get.
