Can Mobs Beat Minecraft?

- Can mobs moving randomly beat Minecraft all by themselves? Can Minecraft beat itself without a player or is it totally impossible... Today we find out what the probability of Minecraft beating itself is, and even finding a seed where you can watch it happen yourself?
INSPIRED HUGEELY BY @RetroGamingNow
BIG DISCLAIMER: I just learned AFTER making the whole video that endermen can't actually pick up snow lol. They COULD still make golems by placing a pumpkin next to two naturally generating snow blocks but that makes the end island situation almost impossible if there's a gap
Idk how on earth I made it through the whole video process never realizing they actually couldn't carry snow...

WIFIES FAKE NEWS ALERT‼️‼️‼️‼️
I have absolutely no clue how I made this up/missed this when I made the video but it turns out endermen can't pick up snow lol. The run IS still possible because they can put a pumpkin next to naturally generating snow and make a golem, BUTTT it makes it way more difficult in a gap situation on the end island.
Lowkey this might make it even MORE likely but who knows
We can say that the probability goes from ~0% to ~0%
Oof

Considering that minecraft speedrunning timer only starts if a player moves, this can theoretically break the set seed category
How plausible it is to select a seed where the mobs will do a majority of the things you need and you just need to wait 50 hours when play for five minutes?
@@dandanthedandan7558 that would just be luck but if you choose a seed that works you could just not move and the timer would never start
The mobs would move the player.
@@SocialMediaFBIAgent I think the timer only starts when the player makes an action, not when the player literally moves

This took "The odds are low, but never 0" to a whole new level.
I think the problem with this is that the player would die of being head butted by a goat and no regen.
@@chaos60I was thinking that too.
Technically mathematics has a way to talk about these sorts of things - a positive probability of 0. It's too unlikely to occur, even given infinite time (you'd need a higher order of infinity). This is because in a 3d space, the probability to be at a specific point at a specific iteration (placing a block is the specific iteration, the location is the specific point) is positive 0, which this plan relies on a multitude of times.
I guess its still 0 as Minecraft rng isn't truly random

@@SobiTheRobot what's that or do u mean like a name for the thing?
If its possible to do so I hope someone makes a TAS of this concept. PippenFTS Just did this as well... Crazy coincidence.
I was part of the team that first theorised this with RetroGamingNow (Credited in his video).
Crazy that others are now making videos on the idea!
bro pippen and wifies vid is just the same
Thinking about it, it's not too far fetched to say that somewhere out there in the vast array of multiverses, some player accidentally left the game afk and this event took place and this video has documented that event. That means this video (and Retrogaming Now's) are our only window to that world in the infinite potentialities that could take place.
Just imagine starting a world, and every monster just starts beating the game for you
The chance of this happening can be a tad bit more probable (albeit “impossible”) if you take thunderstorms into account. All the enderman needs is a TNT and wait for lightning to strike.. as opposed to the phenomenal chance of making snow golems each time and for a skeleton with a flame bow missing their targets, just to reach the stronghold.
no there is no chance of this because a player has to load the end chunks

@@daanman-js6joyou overlooked the simple fact that the video doesn’t end at 5:27
you missed an INSANELY important detail. the goat might kill the player with ramming before getting to the portal, the only way to stop this is if a witch gets hit by a skeleton or something and heals themself with a healing potion, which splashes on the player, happening enough times to get the player to the stronghold
Pretty sure witches don't use splash potions of healing.
they definitely do@@D00dl3bug75 but only when theyre low
The Player would need to spawn EXTREMELY CLOSE to where the stronghold is, and also the mobs would have to destroy the the stronghold so much that the end portal is visible. The stronghold would also have to spawn under a snow biome, where goats spawn, and also snow golems can be created and transported much more easily.
It seems more probable that instead of digging to a stronghold, it might be open exposed in a large ravine that endermen may teleport to or walk to in rain or something
If I had a nickel for every time a video about MC mobs beating MC came out this week, I'd have two. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird it happened twice in a week, hell even in just the last 48 hours.

This is the third video with this concept. The first one was "Minecraft doesn't need you" (ruclips.net/video/am9dz-Sao3g/видео.html) by RetroGamingNow
The second one was "It turns out, minecraft can beat itself" (ruclips.net/video/CnbdnMPSHTU/видео.html) by PippenFTS.
And this is the third one. Also there was a little mistake at the start of the video: arrows cannot hit the dragon when it's perching. They get deflected.
well the whole video is wrong because a player has to load the end chunks

3:01 endermen can’t pick up snow, what can happen is that the place a carved pumpkin in a ice spikes biome where the snow blocks are 2 high
7:18 you could just bank on a convenient end portal, since you already have to bank on the 12 eye portal and like a billion other random things, which is way less likely. the tiny bit of added low probability from this doesn't affect much.
The problems in the run would all be solved naturally since the odds of this happening are so astrnomically low that the truth is you wouldnt even need problem solving just pray the dragon just doesnt spawn somehow

Wifies you're forgetting a crucial part of the ending conclusion, you said that on every seed it will EVENTUALLY happen, and that would be true.
But, not every seed, has a 12 eye portal, which makes it so that only seeds that have a 12 eye would be beaten at SOME point in time.
There's a text disclaimer at the end noting that, so they did realize it, just after the script was set in stone
Any Projectile that is not from the Player wont be able to damage the Ender Dragon.
Snow that is 2 Blocks high is also not possible anymore which makes natural Snow Golems impossible
The 12 Eyed Ender Portal Seeds also are not possible to generate with a Random Seed.

Jokes aside, this channel is actually really good
same logic with pi, since pi is infinite, any sequence of number you can think of will be in there. So technically to find the cure to cancer you could code a computer program to put every character in the alphabet every symbol, punctuations, numbers etc in every sequence possible, and eventually it will be there. infinity is such a mysterious yet beautiful concept
Thanks for taking into account snow golems they are my favorite mob but are suuuper underrated!
You missed a few things which would make the odds of Minecraft beating itself way rarer.
Endermen cannot pick up snow and therefore snow golems would need to be generated by an enderman placing a carved pumpkin on top of 2 snow blocks.
The idea that the endermen can build up to the obsidian towers isn't feasible as the dragon would constantly destroy the blocks placed by the endermen.
also how do the enderman build up and create golems? they can’t pick up endstone and in the end they cant go back to grab them
@@The_WereF0X many endermen holding the required blocks would have to enter and then place them all in the correct locations
and + the dragon can’t take damage from arrows when its perching
@@The_WereF0X the snow golems would have to be created in the overworld and enter the end portal for them to help with the dragon
also i'm not exactly sure about the tnt method since the dragon could destroy it, which could make the only method of damaging the dragon by using snow golems and creeper explosions while the dragon is at the fountain
the crystals would have to be destroyed with skeletons and creepers since endermen cannot build a staircase to it as PippenFTS mentioned in his video
9:44 friendly fire
Just imagine you and your friend start a server and as soon as you start the world up you both go afk and come back with the ender dragon beaten by a gang of unlikely mobs teaming up.

Wifies on his way to severely overestimate the amount of naturally generated carved pumpkins and TNT a world could theoretically spawn with WHILST ALSO having a shallow stronghold, in a form of snowy biome, in a world with a fully lit natural stronghold spawn, whilst also assuming the player won't die for pretty much a million years of being afk, out in the open, while being constantly rammed by goats.
Probability would have like 80 billion zeros in it.
The odds may be low, but never 0
