Compared to other "extreme metal drummers" he doesn't come off as "impressive" because there isn't as much fast double bass or blasts (though when he does, he does it to the fullest) but its his arrangements. I can't fathom remembering all of this for all of these songs. Crazy.

I saw Blake at a clinic and my drummer friend noticed that Blake leads with his left food. My friend asked Blake during the Q&A why he leads with his left food. He said he got in the habit early on because he read sheet music left to right, so in his mind, left foot first. After years of playing that way, it just stuck.
This song, to me, is the peak of btbam drumming from Blake. Don't get me wrong, there's incredible drumming in all of their discography, but something about the sheer relentlessness of this song makes is that much more impossible of a feat.
